Couple questions about Barrows
Also, which is the hardest brother?

Guthans or Sara sword?(plus one more question)
Guthans. Sara swords are not that good. You could also get torags with a whip and drag square. And sell your ranarrs clean. They are only two gp less that grimy, and you get lots of herblore xp.

Couple questions about Barrows
1. In all the guides I've read, none explain it. Do you just open the crypt and mage the brother while you are standing right next to him? Like for the melee brothers. Or is there a safespot that you can mage them from in the crypts? 2. What are the tunnels? 3. Is the prayer drain rate 10 points per 15 seconds? 4. When fighting Verac, does his special hit through your armor and prayer every hit? Or does it just do it sometimes? Because I've seen videos of people killing the kq, and it seems to happen every time. 5. If you have melee pray on, and you are fighting Guthan, can he hit you through the prayer? Can he heal himself even if he doesn't hit you?

What weapon to use?

Fire Giants
What do you need to get to the fire giants? I have gotten through the quest to the part where I have the amulet and urn safely in my bank. I plan to just kill the giants and not finish the quest. I am level 82. I have not been in the cave before. Do I just need the amulet? Also, what inventory would be good for when I can start killing them?

Average lobs per day for serious player
Seeing from your sig, you have at least 76 fishing. If you work hard for 10 hours, you may get very lucky and get 2k. But you would probably get 1k a day. 6k? Never.

FM needs good update, read tifers ideas 5K+ Views!
I agree with magmaguard. Making money off of FMing would rock. I got 62 in training for 99 then realized there was no money return :ohnoes: . So I switched to fletching. But seriously, firemaking NEEDS an update. The only reason I was going for it was because it was the cheapest skillcape if you bought supplies.

Fury. Oh my! Only 14.5K, some fish and patience!?
Very nice thought. Nice method, makes it very easy for lower level players such as myself (ahem...82 cb.... :ohnoes: ) However, it is faster to sell the deaths straight to the GE. But you probably didn't think of that in the first place. So guys, stop flaming him, he had a great idea. 9.99999999999999999999999 etc./10 just that tiny little slip. Great guide though! =D> Edit: Also, why do they have to be of the same color?

A tip to getting mage XP and making a profit! NOT HIGH ALCH!
Thats also what I said. It's for lower levels until they can high alch. And then I'm sorry about the misunderstanding about buying or fletching the yew longbows.

The guide to Fast Free Alchs! (No Skills Involved!)
Sorry, but my guide right before yours, just totally owned this is terms of profit made. 32 gp for mine, 20 gp for yours. And people FLETCH their yew longs so that they make money.

A tip to getting mage XP and making a profit! NOT HIGH ALCH!
NO WAI! you think. It's not possible without high alch! But it is! And I'll tell you how. DUELING RINGS! Simple. Get emerald rings, an air staff, and cosmics. Enchant, sell, repeat! Easy! Here's what you need. 1 X Air staff (if you are using this spell, you probably already have one :P ) 50k GP is good to start And you MUST have 27 mage. It is required to cast the spell Enchant level 2 jewelry, which is the spell you will be using. Now the super-secret method.... First, get to the GE. Equip air staff. Buy cosmics (100-200 is good to start off) Buy the same amount of emerald rings as you have cosmics. Enchant into Dueling Rings (8). Sell Dueling rings. Take money from GE window. Bank Money and withdraw emerald rings. Repeat. With this method, you never have to leave the GE, will get profit, and get mage XP! AND IT ISN'T HIGH ALCH! Prices as of writing this TIP: Cosmic rune:168 gp Emerald ring: 765 gp Dueling Ring (8): 953 gp (can be sold higher, good price is 965) So add 168 and 765 and you get 933. Assuming you sell Duels at 965, the recommended price, that is a profit of 32 gp! Each cast gives 37 XP. Divide 37 by 32, and you get 1.15625. That is a GAIN of 1.15625 per XP gotten. This is a good way to level up until you can do High Alchemy, and alch those nice yew longbows, like me! HAVE FUN! Edit: I did not FLAME his guide, I was just pointing out that for people less than 55 mage this was a good way to get it, and that his guide was...ahem.....less than acceptable. He said that people don't make a profit alching mage or yew longs...dunno where he got THAT from #-o .

Grrr - I was unfairly muted/banned!
GAH, FFS, this is the 3RD time I've been temp. muted in a WEEK. I said to a guy who wanted to hump people, "how about you hump yourself" and then "is that even possible?" and I got MUTED for a day. Then I appeal it and they deny it of course with their stupid (cabbage) automated response. Of course, about a month before then, I had committed 2 offences that put me in perm ban. There was a player named I Org 3 which of course was totally offensive. I reported her and told her that i did, and she reported me. Then I said "goo" then "gle it", aka google to get around the chat filter. I appealed both and won both. Then they locked my account claiming I didn't have control over it. I sent in three appeals and in the last one told them I was crying over it (rofl not really) and FINALLY they gave me my account back. God, Jagex's reporting system is totally (CABBAGED!) up. They deny basically every appeal if you say it is a joke. I am so (cabbaging) mad right now. Plus, all these (cabbaging) people playing RS report you if you say, maybe, "hell". You can tell Jagex  does not even look at them because they would be able to tell that you didn't mean to offend any precious, my little baby, (cabbaging) little noobs. Sorry about all the cabbages, I am really steamed right now (no (cabbaging) pun intended)

YAY!     \ \ [ I also forgot how to take away the white part on my paint, so the image is llike that.] EDIT: Yes, it ruined my bank. I had full rune and dlong and ddp and had about 900k without those. Then I sold them, so i got enough money.

Is training combat with controlled a "bad" idea?
It is not a "bad" idea. Although, you get 1.33 exp in att, str, and def each, so you do technically lose exp, but only by 0.01 exp points per hit of 1 hp. You might also consider what the bonuses for your weapon are, so if the have really high slash bonus and really low stab, then youll want to use a different type.

My letter to the Editor
Here it is. When the skill of hunter came out, I did not care. Hunting was not one of my priorities. Nor was the construction skill when that came out. Neither skill was a great money maker. Construction? Buying millions worth of wood and nails and everything else so I could have a house? What use was a house? I just continued my mining... and my ranging and attack and cooking and so on. I became absorbed in the flow of people attracted to other skills. Hunter? Red Chinchompas are about the only greatly useful thing from it. I could spend my 500k on logs or ores or arrows. Jagex asking me to spend my hard earned money for the sake of something close to useless? No way. I kept working at my regular, old, familiar skills. I watched as Zezima and others raced to become the first to reach Numero Uno. I could refresh the highscores every 10 seconds and it would change around. Slowly and steadily my mining climbed to level 60. I glimpsed the Mining guild for the first time. My prayer huffed and puffed its way to level 43. I checked out my new melee protection. My attack became 70. I could finally use an Abyssal Whip. Then came the awful part- raising the money. I've now got over 840k. Meanwhile, my construction and hunter remained low. I did not even buy a house, and still do not own one. I raised my hunter to level 14, in the Feldip hills, and then quit. And yet my other skills climbed up. I trained my range for a long time, and it fascinated me. I then went back to making money by law running, a most boring method. I took some time off to play in the snow, get a snowglobe, make some snow warriors, talk to the blue imps. Then went back to money making again. And now, here I am. "What is your point," you ask. My point is that runescapers have been reluctant to latch on to new skills. They keep training their old, familiar skills, leaving construction and hunter as some of their lower skills-usually. And the pures. Of course, they don't care about construction or hunter. The new summoning skill should break this cobweb. It can help you in combat, which is, of course, a true heart of Runescape. We, the runescapians of today, must branch out. We stick to the old and safe. We creep away from the unknown, not just in RS, but also in real life. When asked the fateful question of Mr. Robert Frost: "Two paths diverged in a yellow wood..." most say they would take the path more traveled. That can account for most of us. I say that I would take the path less traveled because I like exploring in the woods, but that is just me and my very literal brain. So. Which path would you take? Please give me some feedback. I sent this in the correct way, but just wanted to share it if anyone wants to offer a piece of advice for it. Thanks. EDIT: Sorry about that. If a mod wants to move it then thats alright. Didn't know what to post it in.

Arrrgh, Macroers!
Anyone ever picked Flax? Theres like 50 at a time....Yes, Rly! So some peeps wear green and blue and bring them to the Bats to get killed. They really ruin it for other pickers because the prices will dgo down because there is so much supply.

Abyssal Whip
Yo, I have 69 att going for 70 for the whip. What is the price I should buy at? Also, where should I buy it? And last, what should I do [ please, not combat, I beg of you] to raise the money for it? I have about 250-260k right now. Please help!
