Taking a break, 75mil, what to do?
A godsword? Look at upcoming quests and what materials or items they'll need and base your investments off of that.

Adamant Arrowtips

Bonecrusher training ideas?
You now gain prayer xp form bones obtained through hunting things, like in falconry or stuff like that. Thanks, giant water cannon turtle <3:

Prayer Training 52-60
So yesterday I decided to get piety and chivalry. I did Murder Mystery, Holy Grail, and King's Ransom all in a few hours. Today, I finished the Knight Waves. 2 SS, 3 SA, 3 SD pots. DDP++, and the rest rocktails. Finished off Sir Lancelot with poison with no rocktails, 1 dose of each pot, and 368 LP left  So anyway, I got prayer from 50-52 from recently doing said quests and Swan Song. I want 60 at least, so I can use chivalry for minigames, PC, slayer tasks, Ape Atoll guards, whatever. I need something like 550 drag bones on a guilded altar for 60. I would need about another mil gp to buy them with nothing left over. TL;DR: What should I be doing/killing to get from 52-60 prayer without a gigantic cost? Also if someone could explain this alleged "hunter bonecrusher" update, that'd be great <3:

Dungeoneering made me quit
May I ask what better alternatives have a potential of landing high hits often, give your seeds back, have unlimited water runes in shield slot, give immunity to poison or store 100 gems in 1 inventory slot? 1: Godswords, whips, dharoks and barrelches anchors 2: Buy more seeds from the g.e with the profit from previous plants 3: A water/Mist/Mud staff in the weapon slot 4: Super and + and ++ Antipoisons 5: Note the gems in a bank There you go, alternatives. The only one which dungeoneering is better at is the problem with the seeds. Um Your counter"arguments" to 2,3,4, and 5 were all stupid. The point is that you make more money if you don't have to buy more seeds, the waters are unlimited from the SHIELD slot, you don't have to constantly buy and restock on anti poisons, and you can mine at gems with much higher efficiency or cut gems with higher efficiency. I don't necessarily agree with him, but that was just a [developmentally delayed]ed post.

Stars.
The sentence in capitals made me  What about when it's YOU who is "that guy?"

People who do not understand what it takes to create an update
Pure ess separation? Also, a random thought, if you pay someone to paint your huge house over a summer, and they do a crap job, do you say "oh it was hard that's ok"? No. You get angry. Same with Jag sending out crap for bug fixes.

Private servers
If some noob wants to go play a copy of RS that doesn't affect me or the real RS, by all means, go for it. I couldn't care less. In fact, less people stealing my spots and driving the cost monks down is good.

Lazy Jerks
You're utterly right on all counts, but don't think P2P is any better.

Hunter Bots
Don't make statements like that. That's just being a jerk. I agree with you on some points. Bots need to be completely removed by Jagex, better detection and banning systems used. Red chins are terrible for money anyway. So many better methods. Use them for range.

Making your own items instead of buying them
What about the experience rewards from obtaining the item yourself? Also, that is not opportunity cost.
-
Why can't F2P have...?
Those are not bosses, per se. Steel dragons are machine killed (as in you are always there to kill multiples of them and/or camp them). Mith drags... you could definitely argue and have good points towards saying they are a boss, but I would disagree. Tormented Wraiths are camped. Bork is on the fence. He is high level, but he does not have drops comparable even to that of a steel dragon.

Making your own items instead of buying them
No one said this, and if you think that is what the rant is about, you are an idiot.

Questing Rampages
You only have two quests to go though, don't you?

Good f2p item to alch?
You'll lose money, but you could do feathers. You'll lose a LOT of money, in fact, but it'll be fast and simple.

Successfully kill a Ket-Zek in the Fight Caves
The chance of there being a glitch is EXTREMELY small. It's more likely you're misreading something, misseeing something, or just overlooking something. Also like they said, range him, no close range melee.

Stats to 70
Rcing - nats via tele graahk and dueling ring to cwars smithing - buy steel bars and smelt into cballs, slower but gets you some profit you'll need for herblore etc. agility - wildy course farming - do farming/herb runs in between training other skills craft - for slow but a small amount profitable mine at shilo village gems and cut into bolt tips summoning - get charms from slayer tasks and do whatever it is that is good for training at that level, use up those greens unless you want to make your own bunyip pouches in the future

Questing Rampages
Do you guys ever go on "questing rampages?" I feel like since I got back into RS a few weeks ago I've been chugging through tons of quests. In about 3-4 weeks, (I'm a very inefficient player  ) I did this: 2 RFD subquests Digsite Ikov Desert Treasure Death Plateau Troll Stronghold Jungle Potion Finished Creature of Fenkenstrain Shilo Village One Small Favor (one small favor my WAGON) Garden of Tranquillity Between a Rock... Dwarf Cannon Tourist Trap Finished Waterfall I've also leveled my stats considerably. I've felt like I'm being more efficient than I ever was before. Anyone ever feel the same?

1800 total. Bank.
8.5/10. Nice stats, I like the evenness  BoB could be better, but hey, better than mine! :^_^:

People playing Runescape, but not enjoying it
Its also probably a good idea to save up tokens for battle robe pieces (specifically the robe-bottom, which costs 1000 tokens), the price has gone up 666% in half a year. Thats because the street price is like 15mil due to the sheer money-saving power of a full-set combined with a staff of light (plus with the update to recharge costs, real easy to fix up when they degrade). Actually, the most token efficient item to buy is adamant berserker shields, but no one buys them so rune gaunts are next best and F2Pers buy them all the time. Battle robes are actually not very token efficient. (token efficient = high gp gained per token) Yes, I'm saying that it could possibly be a worthy investment for some time in the future, I wasn't telling anyone to sell them now, that would be stupid. There is an increased demand for battle robes nowdays. I'm fairly confident they will yield higher token efficiency than the lesser items eventually. Somewhere upwards of 5mil for a battle robe bottom seems pretty good to me. Thats like 5k gp per token. Way better then the 775gp per token that rune or dragon gaunts will get you. It's 538k brah....

Castle Wars makes me want to die
Trem, even me, an inefficient noob, could EASILY acquire multiple 99's and plenty of millions of GP in the time it would take to get that armor. It's set effect is astounding for Cwars, but you have to play to get 3850 tickets for the full profound set. Assuming you win EVERY GAME, that takes 1925 games. That's One Thousand, Nine Hundred and Twenty Five games of Cwars. Assuming the full 20 minutes, as it's extremely rare to get the score limit, that's 38500 minutes. That's six hundred and forty two hours, or about TWENTY SEVEN DAYS. One MONTH of your life JUST to get the set. Now, consider if you win only half the time. 3850 games, 20 minutes per, works out to 77000 minutes. That's 1284 hours, or about FIFTY THREE DAYS. I have about a hundred days of play time on Runescape, amassed since around 04. I remember way past the GE and Construction, to when Rune scims were 25k and people would scam you with the old iron scim switch trick. Fifty three days is HALF the time I've ever spent playing RS. That, my friends, is way, way, way, WAAAAYYYYY too much.

Castle Wars and Stealing Creation are BROKEN
Problem is, when you're escorting flag bearers, you often get hit so much and so fast you die with most of your bandages still on you. Ancients mages freeze a bunch of people and others damage them, then lower levels trying to get to the flag bearer take a couple hits with a whip at you quick, and you're done. I also hate the guys who are like level 75 with 95 strength and dragon claws in FoG. Pisses me off.

Dungeoneering made me quit
I do agree with the thinking that Dungeoneering is a piece of [cabbage] skill and should be introduced as a minigame and taken out of skills. However, if it made you QUIT RS, then I'm glad you're gone.

Tip.It Times - 30th May 2010
To the Eggstreme article: He's quite right with the Goldman Sachs link. Players and especially merchanting clans are basically the Wall Street of Runescape (if you don't know, Wall Street is where the big stock trading goes on along with multiple loan giants and banks). As you might know, the economy CRASHED afterwards and took a long time to rebound. Of course, this is Runescape, not the richest country in the world, but still. It angers me to see price manipulators screw with the RS economy for their own benefit. Just like the predatory lenders... :???:
