I've only drank a few beers in my life, it's not my thing. I felt out of control and just personally don't like seeing people drunk. Not that there's anything wrong with alcohol, but people my age (180ish) tend to go overboard. That said, I'm a somewhat daily marijuana smoker. I find it to be one of the best decisions I've ever made simply because it has changed my outlook on life for the better. I've never hurt anyone nor have I ever seen anyone get hurt under the influence of marijuana so I have no reason to fear it. Also, I've taken several long brakes from marijuana to test if it was truly addictive for myself. Never had a single withdrawal symptom. At this point in my life, I plan to keep using cannabis whether or not it ever becomes legalized.

So I heard a story regarding my local highschool involving cars that might make you guys rage as well... There was a 16 year old girl who was given a yellow H2 Hummer for her 16th birthday, brand new off the lot. Within a month, she totaled the car and was given a brand new one after she was released from the hospital with minor injuries. How did she get in a wreck? She was texting while going heavily over the speed limit and not wearing a seat belt. What did they do with the wrecked car? They put it on the corner of the campus parking lot with a big sign saying "[Her name] and [school's name] say don't text while driving!" :thumbdown:

My dream job would be working at a medical cannabis dispensary. In actuality, I'll probably teach English (hopefully at the university level) and write creatively on the side.

Personally, I hate the idea of "letter grades". In my opinion, classes should be rated as pass/fail. In college, I'd rather learn the material that I'll use later on in life and make a C in the class instead of making and A yet not learning a thing. As for my grades through life, I'm probably rated as a C+ student at this time. Doesn't bother me though, I'm content with the amount that I'm learning. Also, I heard a great quote from a professor for mechanical engineering where most students barely pass each class. "It's not about making the A anymore, C's get degrees."

If your coach was referring to just sprints then yes, it will increase your speed. However, the mechanics change if the distance is further.

Ran a charity 5k race this Saturday. Placed 10th overall in about 300 participants and first in my age category. I only recently got back into running and felt I did well in my first competition since I was twelve. Love running, planning on completing a marathon in February or March.

I drive a 2008 Smart Passion. I live only about a mile from campus and my job is a 7 minute drive. The furthest that I usually need to go is to my girlfriends about 10 minutes away.

That computer does look nice and does have a nice price tag, but some of the reviews troubled me. I'd like a good customer service and it seems alot are having trouble with the installation. Also, none of the reviews talked about using games on it, I'll look around for more info on it though :). @Nifl, it's cool, thanks for your help :)

Umm well the main game would be warcraft, I want a computer that will run smoothly once the expansion comes out and I might add on a few other games eventually. Future proof? Sorry but I'm very computer illiterate so don't know most of the lingo. If you mean that it would become obsolete in 2 years then yes, I would like one to last for some time.

Hello, I enjoy playing games in my spare time and my current home pc is simply not able to cope with the high requirements of these games. The only reason that I need a pc is for tip.it forums and gaming so I want to buy a nice pc solely for gaming. Could anyone give me some good ideas on the ideal computer for around 1000 dollars? Thanks :)
