  7. 25426 Ah, okay. I didn't know what way to read that. :anxious: ~D. V. "Sorry, my mistake." Devnull
  8. 25428 We'd have to have a non-real form of currency, then. I don't even like the idea of gambling real money. Honestly, I don't think anybody really does. :o Last time I did any gambling anyway, it was inside of an ancient version of Valve's 'Half-Life: Counter-Strike' game, with non-real money, and that was too many years ago. I wasn't the worst, but I wasn't the best either. :-w ~D. V. "I'm more of an FPS-genre player anyway. One that prefers 'Unreal Tournament'." Devnull
  9. ~D. V. "Aren't repeats fun?" Devnull
  10. Well done... You got all the digits for a straight, even if they are misaligned. 25430 ~D. V. "And we can't rearrange them without madness ensuing." Devnull
  11. I got this... Granted, but the money came from a loan shark who wants to be repaid with an extra 50% interest, and all in twelve hours, and you're now severely strapped for both cash and time. Good luck escaping that jerk. :-w And now... I'll wish for a genie to be free and uncursed, with all their power and everything intact, and that there is no drawback or bad consequence of any kind as a result of their gaining their freedom. |^_^| ~Mr. D. V. "How else can one be kind to such a cursed genie?" Devnull

  13. LOL! :XD: ... No. :twss: or @Miss Lioness, please! ~D. V. "Yeah, I'm STILL on THAT rant." Devnull
  14. Oh shame on me... typing when I'm half-asleep... I meant Wednesday! :wall: :XD: And now that those are replied to... I got lucky and I'm back early, even though I'm horribly pissed that I just lost 3.5 hours of my day!!! I called the Outage Information Number that was provided on the alert mailing. They apparently cancelled the scheduled outage completely! Go figure, and they couldn't even tell me and my family that they had done so without us being proactive. 25436 ~Mr. D. V. "I'm having one of those rant-charged moments, yet quite justifiably." Devnull
  15. 25441 23:44 PDT now... unless I'm lucky enough to have time in the morning, this is my last post until Thursday. ~D. V. "See you all later." Devnull

  18. Pardon my being bluntly honest, but I'M NOT F[bLEEP]ING LUCY! There is no trick. 25449 ~D. V. "...feeling a little offended..." Devnull
  19. Uhm... nope. <*pats you on the back instead*> :) 25451 ~D. V. "I don't clobber for something that silly." Devnull
  20. It will be for 10 hours that I'm down... But the period during which it will hit for me, 8 am to 6 pm, will effectively negate me being online that day, or even using much any technology at all... Damn power company not scheduling things better. :wall: 25453 ~D. V. "Ugh.........." Devnull (p.s.: Whoever posts next, enjoy the palindrome!)
  21. True, you're going to have a ton of apps that come at startup and run in the background. But what I'm talking about is everything you add after you start the system up and login. That is the part as to which you have to watch your additional load on the system. ;) ~D. V. "It's not the startup, but the after-happenings that's the doozy!" Devnull
  22. You're also fired from the Cookie Clicker Corp. for trying to put me in a "Damned if I do & Damned if I don't" situation. :notalk: ~D. V. "You don't pull the conscienceless." Devnull
  23. Just checking in... 29 hours, 10 minutes until I'll be spending a bit of offline time due to Power Grid Maintenance where I live. :? 25457 ~D. V. "Once I'm down, I'll have to see you all afterward." Devnull
  24. Try not watching those videos at such a high quality level while doing many other things at the same time, or even just while having RuneScape loaded. If you're trying to push 720p or more while doing so, then no wonder you're having issues. Like, try 480p... and this IS coming from someone who's only on a single-core ancient system and knows what the true limits of 2.4 GHz are. :geek: Also, use 'AdBlock Plus' ('ABP' for short) with your browser, and make sure to add filters yourself against advert domains and tracking scripts. Or you can use the alternative with ABP and simply subscribe to community-built filter lists that can take care of most of that for you. Either way you choose with that, you'll find very quickly that you gain a chunk of system performance back by not having the background junk of those advert domains/tracking scripts running. They're the biggest source of your problems when video-watching on the internet :ugeek: ~Mr. D. V. "Don't try to floor it so hard!" Devnull
  25. <*hugs @Star.*> Long time, no see madam. I hope we'll see you around more. :) 25482 ~D. V. "It's always good to have people return." Devnull
