The 360 controllers are terrible, they're so bulky and uncomfortable to use. They're not designed well to fit around the hand, probably the main reason why I don't have a 360 (that and having to pay for Live).

*looks at my controllers* How'd you know it's fake? :o About to get Heavy Rain in 3 hours. They didn't want to sell it until it hits 12 midnight in the US <_< I had my suspicions when it started playing up while racing in Burnout, so I looked over the controller (and the video below) and found some similarities, like the LED lights not being flush and looking + feeling rougher. The controller also has a rattling noise in it, which the sony one does not. Anyway, watch this video if you're interested (it's for white controllers, but aside from the colour, mine has exactly the same problems). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mji_PLB7Tb0 The rattling is probably a bit of broken plastic on the inside from it being dropped, I used to do it to my old (legit) pad alot. Just open the screws at the back and shake it out. I don't know about the rest though, I didn't realise there was a big market for fake sony controllers.

I just use scrambler pro for the delayed explosion. There's nothing better than rushing in and knifing a sniper before his claymore even explodes.

Emergency airdrops on Rust are hilarious. You can easily get about 5-10 kills by attacking the area near the boxes once they've dropped..

It happens very very rarely to me but it has happened. I got it more often when playing Fight Night rather than MW2 though.

You your team is bad, I was nuked twice in a row with two separate teams this week. My team were like Lemmings, just running blindly towards the same spot. Before that I had never even been in a game where the nuke had been used.

The demo looked okay but I think the game might get a bit repetative after a while. It is an interesting premise for a game though. I haven't played GoW to make any comparison. It isn't really like the book at all. It just happens to share a setting and a character name really. The book is fascinating but it would really make for a dull game, Dante (in the book) is basically given a guided tour of hell, it's residents and it's punishments.

Maybe Gamestop was lying but it's scheduled for a May 3 release. Amazon has it down for the 31st of March and Play has it down as the 26th. Since, thre hasn't been an official announcement I think it might be put back. :???:

I completely agree. Before, I was interested. Now, I'm definitely gonna buy it. The fight scene you get to play out in the demo if you so choose, is incredible. It was tense, it was exciting, it was brilliant. My heart was drumming against my chest, it was just so realistic. You may not have the amount of control over fighting that you have in other games, but it feels so much more natural. It keeps you guessing, as to what you have to do next. It's not just 'X' to block or whatever. 'X' could block when the guy tries to throw a chair at you, but when he tries to punch you in the face, it could be 'O'. Then, the next time he tries to throw you into a wall, it could be 'X' again. It really captures the unpredictability of fighting. Also, the characters were so brilliantly animated, scripted, and rendered, that I started to believe them. I felt as if I was involved in a real conversation. The game just works. This is all without mentioning the graphics. Oh the graphics. Simply brilliant. In the loading screens, you get a headshot of the character you are about to play. The detail is incredible, and the eyes especially struck me as so full of emotion, so full of feeling. The skin is brilliantly done as well, with all the pores, spots, wrinkles etc rendered in perfect detail. It's seriously incredible. I didn't even know what kind of game Heavy Rain was, I just downloaded the demo after I was bored of play MW2 yesterday. I played the demo and put it on pre-order immediately, the graphics are some of the best I've seen in a game and the story seems interesting. The style of the game reminds me of the X-files game but without cheasily using pre-recorded video. I'm wondering now if I should order the special edition of the game instead, you get a voucher that gives you; HR PS3 Dynamic Theme, the soundtrack and Episode 1 of the Heavy Rain Chronicles - The 'Taxidermist' scene (I presume this will be DLC for everyone else). HMV is offering the SE for £42.99, where as Amazon are selling the standard game for £37.99 - I wonder if it will be worth the little bit extra. Edit - Mafia 2 is still tentatively scheduled to be released at the end of March, I've been looking forward to that game for so long now. I really hope the game isn't delayed again. The original was a great game.

In the game, the attack occurs outside the cathedral and you have to fight off the attackers and escort Lorenzo home (you have to kill a few more attackers along the way if I remember correctly). In reality the attack occured inside the cathedral, during high mass and Lorenzo's brother bled to death on the cathedral floor. The image I had of the conspiracy just seemed much more dramatic than in the game.

Reasons? Yes, but I do wish to disclose my views. Why post then? If you're embarrased or uncomfortable in sharing the reasing behind your views then why enter the discussion in the first place? If you have an opinion you shouldn't be afraid of explaining it. Stating an opinion and then avoiding explanation makes no sense to me.

I only got the game because of the setting and the fact that it contains a few historical characters that I'm interested in (Rodrigo Borgia, and Lorenzo de Medici particularly) but I'm really glad I bought it. They game really captured early renaissance Italy brilliantly and the story was relatively intriguing. The Battle for Forli was a little disapointing because of it's length but I'm looking forward to interacting with Savonarola because he's another fascinating character. It made me want to visit Florence even more. [hide=Kind of a spoiler]I have a book about the Medici and from my reading I always thought Lorenzo was attacked inside the cathedral but in the game it appears outside. It would have been oh so more dramatic and stylish if it had been inside the cathedral with all of the comotion and panic. To be fair though, that is my only tiny gripe about the game and it's probably a gripe that is shared by nobody else. Fair enough, I may have mis-stated the point slightly by saying precondition. However, when you know the other side wants to negotiate a point and you state that you won't even discuss the point, it is a means to the same ends. The point of negotiation is to sit down and openly work things out - there has to be give and take. If Israel wants to keep East Jerusalem then it should work that out at the negotiating table rather than rigidly state that it will not discuss it as an issue, the same thing applies to the Palestinians regarding the right of return. Negotiations should envolve all the issues or they are completely pointless. Also I don't think East Jerusalem is a black and white case where it would have to be Israeli or Palestinian, I actually think there can be a middle ground if both sides are willing to moderate thier demands (not that that will happen with Netanyahu or without Abbas in my opinion). Anyway, we are rather off-topic now lol.

You're getting away from the point and putting words into my mouth here, I'm not going to argue on the status of East Jerusalem forever because we'll go around in circles. The point is, you claimed that Israel is not putting down pre-conditions to negotiations but that just is not the case.

[/hide] Actually, if I remember correctly from the article that .gif is from, all three of those cars were involved in a car chase. And if you look at the video, it's clear that there are three separate explosions, which would imply that the firing was concentrated and purposeful. That, or some civilians got [bleep]ed up. One of the two. I prefer to think of the first one - even if I'm totally wrong, I doubt I'll find out for sure. Well if it's aimed at all 3 then that is an entirely different scenario.

How is it irrelevant? Exactly what I was going to ask. Why is East Jerusalem considered a special case for exemption in the peace negotiations? It shouldn't be. Jerusalem was still the capital of Israel before Israel took East Jerusalem in 1967. Jerusalem can and would still be Israel's capital without East Jerusalem. Hence, saying it is the capital of Israel is not relevant in the wider context of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.

East Jerusalem was not part of Israel until it was taken in 1967, it is home to an almost entirely Arab population (despite the continued building of illegal settlements). The fact that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel is irrelevant to the discussion.

Israeil isn't willing to negotiate on East Jerusalem either.

The BNP are a minority, since they got less than 1% of the vote in the last general election I would say the audience was pretty representative of the general public. The Question Time discussion always tends to reflect what is being discussed politically and that week the big talking point was the BNP so that is why they were the focus of the show. There was no conspiracy against Griffin, he was given a platform and he just showed himself up. He had the opportunity to come out and impress potential BNP supporters in his appearance and he blew it. The fact that Griffin and his message was rejected in the show wasn't a show of BBC bias, it was a reflection of the nation's views.

My general rule is, if it involves consenting adults and doesn't have any direct negative consequences on other people then it is nobody elses business. Same sex marriage falls under that umbrella.

I like Aston Martins alot. Old or new it doesn't matter; I've always wanted an E-type, if I ever won the lottery or earn enough I will buy one. It has to be British racing green though.

Dizzle - They're kind of hard to avoid when there are multiple shock news type threads on the front page. What discussion value does it have beyond "oh, this is so stupid, why did they do that?"

It depends on what is the situation is for me, if it was something important I tend to speak up and I would like to think I'm quite assertive. That being said, everyone can say that they would do these things but when it comes to it happening they might react in a way that they didn't expect.

I see your point but official governmental apologies aren't really meant as a way of taking the blame for the actions of predecessor, it's more a case of acknowledging an injustice. I think it is just one step in the process of getting over these kind of things, a way to clear the air. That being said, I don't know enough about the Rudd apology to comment on that one specifically.
