finding reference pictures would help.. :-k Well with so many pictures of people holding bows in so many various positions theres no need for tutorials, unless you want to learn how to draw exactly like someone else (they may not necisserily know what they are doing).. It's pointless trying to draw something without confidence that you know how you'll go about doing it.. If you're having trouble with hands, try break them up in your mind into shapes.. otherwise they'll just look really out of proportion and odd.. Also try judge what size parts of the body should really be.. Look at yourself in the mirror to see how your arm would look in that certain position for example.. I think the idea of the buddy kit is ok, creating a whole variety costumes for the one character is a good idea.. But when someone releases a pretty crap image of a character with really poorly made outfits, it just desturbs me to image why people love mass producing it, keeping to the same level of quality.. Surely in an ideal world each person would have a crack at making their own characters with outfits.. Not using the same template but drawin their own character.. For example Random could create a load of additions to this one image, that he could mix and match for his own personal use, Maybe novalty clothes like a hat, shirt or even cool looking armour.. The current Buddy Kits are simply made so people with little talent can piece together something to call their own.. I've seen whole sections in some forums were people genuinely post threads discussing, hey do you like my buddy?.. Yeah thats awesome great job with that... :roll: (Isn't his artwork, isn't his idea. and isn't particularly well pieced together).. I mean If I was to use these buddy kits I'd re-make everything, boost up the quality, make some decent backgrounds.. But then again Im not even too fond of the idea that someone else in another country would say, 'oh thats nice', use it and then post his pieced together character of my work asking for 'advice to improve'.. :roll: I just think the whole buddy thing is corrupt.. But originally, a good idea.

its great jak, I love the brush strokes created whilst drawin in flash.. Could of done with a darker shade added to add a bit more dimension but I think it looks fine.

I believe he was banned because of this.. according to terley.. a bit extreme actions to such a small rule break.. He was banned primarily for admitting to giving money to his younger brother, involving, going onto his account.. Am I right to say it's against the rules to share accounts. If so I think this barely breaks it. it's not like he was playing on it, since he quit 2 years ago.. I actually go to the same college as im, He gave up hope here at tip.it when he found out he'd been banned, he was really set on becoming a big part of the community some day, maybe applying for moderator or something, or at least supporting the forum in some way or another.. I'd appeal for his unban, but thats non of my buissiness.. since ; Banned users have violated a policy or rule of this site. Banned users may not ask other users to post on the forums on their behalf. by protesting his innocence, i'd be breaking the rules.. If I ever do, I would expect a warning.. Instead of a straight off ban..

Note he said he's a weird one out. He doesn't share the same perspective as everyone else. Personally there is two pixelers I consider incredible, who if Rnd or Gs visit this thread will recognise. Helm and Indigo ;) Oh and thanks for complimenting my human drawing style Jitouz. Lol. :lol: Now back on topic fellas :o Helm, hands down.. The way he works is simply genius.

lol.. use it if u wanna. but that sig of urs is pretty sweet O:) .. I dunno random, I've learnt a lot from a few pixelers recently... Plus a friend of mine is making a pixel game, learning a few things here and there.. my style is my own, but I've just clicked with AA.. Theres a massive improvement in the quality of my work..

The linework looks a bit ridgit in places, and with the current colouring it looks like the final piece may be too contrasted, tone it down and try use that image as reference as much as possible, even paste it along side yours whilst working.. as long as you aren't copying exactly it should look fine.. Can't wait for the finished version.. keep us updated. O:)

im sure he'd sell if he could. =P~ nice work man, could improve your shading though. I find it helps to look at pixel art as a whole instead of just colouring in linework, use AA to blend the lines into the work. I'd also suggest practicing with different colour combinations.

cheers man.. I thought I'd have a go at pixeling, since this forum seems to be quite up on pixel art.. I've practiced a few times before but im still pretty new to it. btw he's supposed to be redish, with texture to his skin.. To make it seem as if he's just started his warewolf transformation. =P~

Very poor animation.. Use the actual program for your graphics, take your time, if your familiar with fireworks, use it.. its basically a vector version of photoshop.. very similar to illustrator. I'd work on proportions first off tho.. :-s
