  2. Tell us what you think of the weekly Hot Topic here. We aren't accepting user suggestions for the weekly Hot Topic just yet, so please do NOT post your topic suggestions here. All suggestions will be removed. Right now, this sticky is for letting us know what you think of the feature itself. Do you like it? Hate it? Would you like to see it more often? Less often? Would you like us to post more than one topic at once? Whatever your thoughts, we'd like to hear them -- good AND bad! This sticky is open to staff and users alike - post your feedback about this unique fansite feature here!
  3. Go to Draynor Village. To the west, there's a jail. Walk west from the jail on the dirt path until you come to an abandoned broken-down house with lots of little spiders in it. Picklock the trapdoor to get in. You don't need a picklock for that. That's the HAM Headquarters.
  4. The addition of this new random was mentioned some time ago, in the June Behind the Scenes news item: However, this was only in the Behind the Scenes news item, and Jagex only mentioned it again in the July 5th Trouble Brewing update: It's not in our Random Events guide because none of the Crew has actually HAD the event, and none of our users has submitted any pictures or good information about the event. So if anyone gets the event, please take a picture and submit it to us for inclusion in the guide. The picture, as well as any additional information (like what does the beekeeper say when he first talks to you???) can be posted on the Website Updates & Corrections Board, in this topic: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=222578 Moving to the Clues, Clues, Clues (and Random Events) board.

  6. No, they don't. Firstly, you only get a mage popping up and attacking you when you're digging on a level 3 coordinates clue. Any other kind of level 3 clue does not result in mage appearing and attacking. Secondly, the level 108 Saradomin Wizard only appears on a level 3 coordinates clue outside the wilderness. For level 3 coordinates inside the wilderness, you get a level 74 Zamorak Wizard. More information is available in our Treasure Trails guide.
  7. The locator in the Treasure Trails Guide is to give you an approximate location. To pinpoint the exact spot you need to dig, you must use your sextant. Instructions on how to use the sextant are available in our Treasure Trails Guide.

  9. Actually, DragnFly submitted it to us directly as a Tip.It Times Article submission. We didn't go digging in the forums for something to use.
  10. Just because there's been a large update, that doesn't mean that our Editor is ready with his/her article. Please give the poor soul a break. Because sometimes mere humans like us make mistakes. It's been fixed, thanks for pointing it out.

  12. First, this question DOES belong on the Clues Board, so I'm moving it there. Second, you may want to check our Treasure Trails Guide next time around before you post a question. It is extremely detailed, and probably can answer any question you can come up with about treasure trails. And yes, the answer to this question IS in the guide (look in the FAQ section).
  13. This forum is for posting your completed guides ONLY. joecool280 and Pandaman115 are both right. Moving this to Help & Advice.
  14. It's in the same paragraph. ROI = return on investment Spill it...everyone has been speculating on this forever, and I'd like to see if someone's actually got it right for once! Doesn't mean I'll say yay or nay, I'm just curious to see who you think it is.

  17. Seeing as you've done just that, I find this comment to be kind of irritating. Do not post that article anywhere on these forums. It will be removed and disciplinary measures may be taken. I don't find that comment to be in the least bit funny, if that's what you were aiming for.
  18. Information is available here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=319347 Think what you like, but it isn't me. Do you honestly think I'd have the time to write an article each week, PLUS lead the Crew and be an Admin? Wow, you must think I'm superwoman! Thanks for the compliment, but trust me, it isn't me.
  19. Try again. Sorry, but no. All I can tell you is that it was an editorial commentary on some bans Jagex implemented. Here's the discussion topic: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=419655 That's all I can give you.
  20. We'll NEVER tell! Our Editor's identity is a closely guarded secret, only the Admins know who it is. We like to keep an "aura of mystery" around his or her identity, muwahahahaha..... P.S. It isn't me. Or is it?????

  22. Submit ideas here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=319347 And as it says in that topic, any articles you've written should be PM'd to my attention directly.
  23. Busba, instead of complaining that the Editor "ignored" your criticism, why don't you buckle down and write an article for us? We always accept well-thought out and well written pieces, so why not try your hand at it? And I'm sorry if you think your comments were ignored. They were not. Just because we didn't jump and change everything to the way you'd like it to be, does not mean that we ignore our users' comments. On the contrary. We take all the comments we receive very seriously indeed, and where we feel it's warranted, we implement changes. We have over 100,000+ users in our Community, and not all of them agree with you. So as I said, if you have an article you'd like to submit, we'd welcome it. Or why don't you suggest some topics? I'm certain the Editor would enjoy receiving some different topic ideas...
