  1. Clickable links to the article in the lead post fixed. Sorry about that!
  2. I'm sorry, but you're incorrect. The word "quote" can be used as both a verb or a noun. From Merriam-Webster Online:
  3. Whoever it is at Jagex that came up with that idea must be a Bugs Bunny fan. In the episode "Knighty Knight Bugs" which was made in 1958, Bugs Bunny, who's playing the role of the court jester, tries to get posession of the Singing Sword before the Black Knight (Yosemite Sam) and his sneezing dragon. At the beginning of the epiosde, the narrator gives a short explanation of the medieval era, including introducing us to the "Knights of the Round Table". And that's the connection. Two of those knights' names?? Sir Osis of Liver (cirrhosis of liver - a disease of the liver) Sir Loin of Beef (sirloin of beef)

  6. I wish you wouldn't use that site on which to base your conclusions. The site you've quoted is not an accurate picture of traffic here at Tip. It. First, it's outdated. Second, you DO realize that the information only reflects the data of Alexa Toolbar users, right? What about the all the other people out there who don't have an Alexa Toolbar? Are they included in the traffic ranks? No. From the same site you quoted:

  11. I would just like to take a moment here to thank Andrew for providing his insights, comments and opinions here on the discussion topic. This shows us that JaGex Management really does care about their product and the people that use it. If they didn't, they woudn't care one whit what anyone says about it. They certainly wouldn't bother to post an opinion in a helpsite's forum! So let's hear it for Andrew - while we may disagree on some issues, it's always nice to see his contributions here in our Forums. This stimulates discussion, and only good things can come out of that. And what else is the Tip.It Times for but to stimulate discussion and get people talking? Thanks for your comments, Andrew. Now how about a nice little interview to really get your point across??

  13. Excuse me, but that's a pretty uninformed statement, don't you think? We never said ANYWHERE that we hate these types of programs. What we DO say in our Forum Rules, is that we follow the same rules as RuneScape. If they don't allow something, neither do we. It's that simple.
  14. Last week's poll covered that. This week's poll is exclusive to those users that answered "yes" in last week's poll. We needed as many spots as possible for the reasons a toolkit is used, we didn't feel it was necessary to use one of the choices for something that was covered last week.
  15. This week's poll, If you use one, what is the MAIN reason you use a toolkit program to play RuneScape? is up on the main Tip.It website, please be sure to vote before the poll closes. 24. I've already adressed this on a previous page. We will not be adding current market or "street" value to our database. Another site may have that information, but it's not much good when it's sorely out of date. If you like the other site better, then be my guest. Use them.
