That did nothing for me I am afraid I don't know what to do to remedy the situation, nothing new that I havent yet tried is coming to mind. I appreciate your help thus far anyways, but it's still not right.

I can't even find DirectX on my computer to uninstall it with, much less do I know which one I would need to reinstall. I imagine I have it, since DirectX *does* run, just runs ugly. Any chance you could direct me in the right way?

Must be glitching or something One of his videos has the RSN Simitari In both Staking videos he has, you can tell the account he's staking with starts with a different letter. Coupled with the fact that most of his clips have people saying he glitched, seems fishy Enjoy your ill-gotten money I guess.

2x does nothing for me either sadly

►►► Success Rate of Getting Logs, Ores, etc. ◄◄◄
Logdotzip replied to Trill's topic in Data and Research
Couldn't you just take already proven average experience rates/hr and divide them by the the amount of experience each resource provides to get a rough approximation of how long it takes to get one specific resource? Seems like you're doing things ass-backwards. Who would need information about how long it takes to gather x log with a bronze hatchet anyways? You should always use the best tool you can for your level. -
OpenGL works perfectly fine. DirectX also fixes distortion when I turn off Anti-aliasing in the RS options. Problem is RS is ugly as s*** without AA on. The old laptop, which is inferior to this new one, could do DirectX with AA on 4x and haveno distortion. Uninstalling and reinstalling Java did nothing, and my drivers are up to date. So I'm quite confused. I went into my graphics cards settings and put everything to it's defaults, as well as attempted to turn off it's own smoothing capabilities, to no avail.

Divx? I assume you mean DirectX? or am I missing something I should have And in the first shot there are small lines and artifacts around certain menu icons and such

Not sure what you mean, the graphical errors are clearly seen in the screenshots I provided, unless you meant something else.
-
I fail to see how you fail to see anything wrong with that image. Anti-aliasing settings, as far as I know and have experienced prior, have never affected text / interfaces, only the actual graphics in the world. It shouldn't be doing what it's doing. My screen res is perfectly fine, 16:9 @ 1366x768 Another Screenshot

Ranks are buyable in quite a few Dice Clans, might buy one. Not because I agree with gaming suckers, but because I wouldn't mind doing it. Every friend who joined the clan and paid the entry fee made the fee back and then some within days. Gotta spend money to make money

Nvm, just getting this comp now http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+Essentio+Desktop+/+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i7+Processor+/+8GB+Memory+/+1TB+Hard+Drive/2634096.p?id=1218341074379&skuId=2634096 [spoiler=Original Problem]Having some issues with DirectX when playing RuneScape... Screen looks like this during gameplay As you can see, discolorations, Stretched/Compressed Text/interfaces, lines through menus, etc. [spoiler=Specs + Laptop Information] NVIDIA GeForce GT525M Graphics Chip If theres any info missing, here is the product page with a link to the specs http://www.samsung.c.../NP-RC512-S01US I just bought it yesterday, the laptop itself is pretty new on the market, but all drivers and Key windows updates are up to date, as far as I can tell. RS on OpenGL works fine, but is much laggier than DirectX, and I would prefer to use DirectX if at all possible.

I was banned from the forums a little over a month as a result of being a smartass and because of some moderation choices I can't help but disagree with. Either way I am discontinuing the updating of this thread. Just thought I'd let anyone who's interested know.

I would highly suggest/encourage that Any Staff deemed "retired" from RS stay away from boards that have to do with RS content. Often times those staff members misconstrue information/opinions as trolling, when, to be blunt, they don't know what the f*** they're on about. Only on Tip.It have I have so many Staff members who don't even play, or, frankly, suck at RuneScape/can't devote enough time to it to be able to hold valid input about it. I think new Staff should be hired, active in the RS game itself, as well as active on Tip.It. Conversely, I feel quite a few other members of Staff should step down. Not naming any names though. <

Then ignore them, leave the thread, and take your post that adds nothing to the discussion with you. If this is what wants to be discussed on general discussion, then who are you to say not to discuss it? What i'm getting on about is why do we need 10 different threads on the first page of gen discussion? If your gonna talk about others botting, just choose one thread. Problem is all these people who create these threads think they have a new, idea or theory, when it is just [developmentally delayed]ed speculation that the majority doesn't care about. Right, I get that, but if the majority of people didn't care about these issues, there wouldn't be threads all with multiple pages about them. There are subdivisions of each subject that all necessitate different threads for each one. Sorry that you don't like that fact, but tough cookies, babe

Oh I definitely would care, to an extent, it's still time and money (membership fees) that I've invested into something, I wouldn't want it just snatched from me. But I'm not worried about that. I don't break RuneScape rules nor am I promoting it, I'm merely pointing out that it is extremely profitable to do so and I see why others do it. I would much rather a new Mustang over a sense of doing good on a videogame already going down the tubes anyways.

...So don't play runescape....? People who cheat on a game and try to run businesses off of them obviously care a lot more about RS than casual players like me. I wouldn't take the risk of downloading potential trojans or go through the effort of purchasing a bot or RWT just to enlarge my e-peen on an online video game, but a lot of people on TIF obviously would. If grinding sucks...just don't do it? Also, I'm pretty sure i could make 25 grand on minimum wage with the time it took people to get lvl 138 and win 6B staking, or do something even more productive. So the whole idea of RWT seems incredibly unprofitable and useless, unless you're in the RWT business with like a billion bots doing work for you. But I seriously doubt any RWT company owner makes more money than any middle class american or person that just graduated from a decent college, considering the selling of virtual goods is a completely unstable and shady industry. Well that makes you either an idiot, or completely ignorant of how profitable running bots or getting lucky staking + selling is. Likely both. lololol have fun botting/grinding w/e on runescape to pay off college while i go to college on schoarships/grants kthx. Ah see no, I spent many years on RS getting these levels while going to school and working. I made the equivalent of about $5,000 in 4 days on this game, not in 10 years. That's where you have it wrong. But there's no reasoning with a self-proclaimed troll, and speaking of rule enforcement, I thought one of the rules was no trolls/trolling. Chop chop, Danq? Or are you too busy man-handling other posts elsewhere? I'm pretty sure the time spent getting the money to go staking/getting stats probably has to be taken into account if you want to equate the amount of money you earn on runescape vs life. I acquired that money and stats whilst playing normally. But if you really need a breakdown. you can buy one melee bot for probably 20 bucks, and use that to get 5 accounts to maxed melee in a few weeks, can sell those accounts on various other websites for real cash, use some of that cash to buy gold for a single account and go staking with it, all essentially while you're away from your computer. From there you can melee box and get lucky, or use the gold to get your Magic to 99 with another bot (already paid for due to aforementioned) and mage box. Or you can be like a friend of my friend's who makes 200m a day by having multiple accounts farming Black Demons for ashes and various other drops, while he's asleep / at school. So if you want to tell me you can make 150 dollars while you're in school, then kudos, but most can't. If you take the risks involved, botting and RWTing can be more profitable then a lot of jobs requiring degrees. And especially since Jagex seems to be turning a blind eye to most of it (As I peer over my friends list filled with unbanned people who have all made hundreds - thousands RWTing), it becomes more and more of an option to consider daily. And you say people who are against botting care too much about runescape. LOL. I fail to see that as a rebuttal of any shape or form, so I'm going to walk away with my own personal victory, take heed of your forum name, and ignore any further posts made by your stupid ass in an attempt to get a rise out of me.

That's cool if you wanna sell RSGP and all but I don't recommend you openly admit it on a forum with your RSN visible and with lots of people who know Jmods lol

Yeah no kidding, I have a friend who recently got $25,000 dollars from selling his staking profits. 25 grand, or making sure you have fun on a videogame. There should be no argument at all BTW he wasn't even banned, he's back up to a partyhat or two, and he did it all in one transaction Jagex doesn't f***ing care.

You're God damn right I'll put my needs before the needs of a videogame. Anyone who doesn't needs to get their priorities in order. It's a game.
