Anyone?
-
I'll think about it, thanks mate  But then I was thinking, would training on Fire Giants or something else be more efficient then always going to Pest Control? Or should I do half and half? Anymore ideas? Please note that I'm not member at the moment, I only want to get members so I can train my range to 93. So I made this topic so I could figure out how many months of membership I would have to buy and once I get that membership, what I should do. Thanks :

Lol Well, I'm not that rich :wall: Range for me is so boring.. So that's why I'm doing PC :P I don't really find PC that boring, so I don't end up killing myself. #-o Thanks though :P Anyone got anythin' else?

Question I will be training at Pest Control. I want to go from 55 Range to 93 Range. I will be going fairely intensely, and will (hopefully) get at least 100 Tickets a day (cause of school and everything else). I calc'ed it, and will need approx. 5.7k Tickets if I do by 100's. This means that it will most likely take me at least 2 months then. Is this accurate? Or could it take me 1 month, or would it take 3 months? Is there another, more profitable or easy way to train all the way? Would training on Trolls at the King's special training cage place a better idea (since I'll be getting ranged exp as well as hp exp)? Any suggestions regarding heavy range training or pest control is welcome and appreciated. :)

Lol That's a smart idea. You can never be too prepared when you first go to Jad.

Well I haven't personally done it, but I know many people that have.. I think that it's most likely do-able, but I don't know if you'll get it your first couple tries. Unless you really know what you're doing and have watched lots of vids or guides on it, it will be pretty close. GL dude, you can do it \

Like Blipo said, it's your decision, but in my opinion, staying 3 combat would be better. :? If you raise your combat, it would (in my opinion) take away the point of bieng a skill pure. It would increase your total, but it isn't worth it.. Plus, if you're a really good skill pure you stand out pretty good. But if you're just a low level (above 3 but not that high), then people would think of you probably as a "newb" or something, until you tell them your stats. Again, your decision.

I believe it's only use it for some P2P quests.

Verac's Flail Attack: Stab: +68; Slash: -2; Crush: +82 Other: Strength: +72; Prayer +6 Like mentioned above, recommended mainly with Full Veracs. It's still an OK weapon alone, but it's much better with the whole set. ;)

I was there not too long ago and I believe they still have the exact same rocks there. You sure you're at the right place?

I'll have to agree with that. That does happen quite often. There are many Runescape players that are way over obsessed with this online Java game. I've seen people say that they would do almost anything to just get rich quick, in this pixelated game. Although, just like the rest of Runescape does, I would love to be filthy stinkin' rich in Runescape. But to sacrifice a real, good friendship simply to become a little bit richer in that virtual world? Not worth it. That's pretty low, what he did. But that absolutely proves what many people say. Never trust anyone at all with Runescape items/gold. (unless of course you live accross them, so you can go over and beat the hell out of 'em :-w ) This has happened to me a couple times, and it has tought me many things. But remember, if they won't trust you with their items, or don't understand when you politely tell them you don't/can't give them anything for free (the stuff you worked hard for), then they aren't your friends. I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you, but it show's you how some people in this world really are. . : Drgn01 : .

I have to agree, as I've seen this many times before. They are stuck in 1 spot since everyone is blocking their way out (the people attacking portal), then once the portal is killed, then have room from the back, and start to spread out and come out. Did you right click on the monsters to see if that was what really happened? (to see if there was more then one in that one spot) . : Drgn01 : .

I'm pretty sure it's right at the very beginning. Once you start Legends, he'll tell you some stuff about how you have to map the "new jungle" (Kharazi Jungle), and will tell you to get some stuff. All you'll need to do then is pick up a machete (I think there's one in the same room as him in a cabinet), and get your axe and go over there. You might have to talk to the Forester person before going in, but that's all you must do to enter the jungle.

I don't think there is.. But imagine the benifits. A full cage of unicorns all to yourself :P Free herby. exp. pl0x \

If you're a member, and are tight on cash, Pest Control is probably your best option. If you aren't a member, and can't afford buying a huge bulk of runes to train with, Runecrafting's the way to go. You could mine the rune ess yourself, then craft them. You'll be getting mining exp., runecrafting exp., and mage exp.

Do you mean make it look the original size on the forum? Or increase the size of the original picture? If it's on the forum, remember to copy the direct link from imageshack. If you want to make it litterally bigger, open it in a program and ajust the size.

Yes, another "this kind of thread". Clicky plsh.

20M F2P? That would take a lot of hard work and time unless you have really high skills like 99 smithing and mining, to be honest. But your best bet would have to be trying one of the options already mentioned. -
In my opinion, it's really hard to find people like that in-game. If you wanna try that, you'll prolly have to post on the RS Forums and sell in-game or something so that you can advertise as much as you can :?
-
Have you tried making a search on the Official RS Forums? If not, that would be the best place to look. I think there used to be an "official" Nat running world, but I don't know if they still have it. Just look it up on the RS Forums. I'm pretty sure you pay in the amount of runes you got of that kind. (ie: If someone brings you the ess at the Nat altar, you give them the nats you got from crafting them. You don't get a profit, but the exp. is much faster. People with 91+ RC going for 99 usually do this, because more people will come for free double nats.)

I'll have to agree and say that B seems like the best option. In my opinion, stringing and alcing in massive bulk makes me want to kill myself :? But if you have the patience for it, grats dude :P Invite me to your 99 Fletch party? \

Yep, it heals prayer as well. Infact, it's better then prayer potions. Pray pots heal 1/3 (33.33%) of your prayer, while Super Restore Pots heal 40%.
-
I definitly agree with you, but if I don't get it, then I'll be exactly like the other range pures out there, and it would be real tight to try and kill them unless I had some type of advantage. :( Any other suggestions? :ohnoes:

First off, are you F2P or P2P? Well, last I checked, raw lobsters were pretty cheap now, especially world 1 a lil' south of the west varrok bank. I could easially buy raw lobs at 170-190 each. Then, you can try selling the cooked at Edge on any populated world (lots of PKers will buy for 200 each). This might be a slow way to sell them, but if you want to not lose any money and maybe make a profit while raising your cooking level, this is probably the best way :? GL bro :P PS: Cooking pwns kay \

(First off, I'm F2P, and most likely will always be F2P on this char.) Well, I'm about to go train his range at Hill Giants (47-56). I don't know exactly how many big bones that will get me, but probably enough. Now, I was wondering if I should get 26 prayer for the Range prayer (+10% range), and use the big bones to get there, rather then just leave them on the ground :? I will also be using some type of rune weapon in conjuction with the range, so if I got 26, I would be able to use Protect Weapon, incase I got into some trouble. As well as the fact that I could use the +10% strength and attack prayers. I've never been a fan of prayer on pures in F2P, but I think I should make an exception this time. So my questions is, would it be worth it to get 26 this early? Or would it be better in the long run to keep prayer at 1? (I don't really plan on raising his range much after I get 56, unless I have to). Thanks in advanced : PS: I didn't put this in the PK Help section, because I'm asking a pretty general question "is prayer worth getting this early", and not really asking "is getting 26 prayer on a range pure good?" :|

F2P or P2P? Are you looking for fast exp., or a profit? For fast exp., fly fish salmon and trout and either Barbarian Village (for F2P) or Shilo Village (for P2P). For a profit, you can fish lobsters. Karaja for F2P and P2P since you can't access the Fishing Guild. (Can't remember if there are any other lobster fishing locations in P2P.)
