  1. What are your current stats? That would make it easier to give suggestions, so that I know what you can handle at the moment. At first I was like "Why's he trainin' at dark wizzies if he's almost 80 attack + strength??" Then I noticed you were F2P and a pure #-o Plus didn't know your current stats :?
  2. You can raise your strength to 40, maybe that would speed things up, but you're definitly ready. I've seen people with lower stats and using addy equipment beat him (I think they got lucky :P ). But you have a rune scimmy and rune armor, but is most likely more than enough for you  Also, take a strength potion like suggested above. If you don't wanna take any risks, you can always take tele-runes :P When fighting, I guess try and stand+fight near the gate, so if you need to make a quick escape, or little break to eat-up, you can go out and do so. GL man \
  3. Yeah, that's quite a common well, scam for lack of a better term, especially in non-members. :? You can also get other clothing from the store that are quite nice :P
  4. Aggressive would be your best bet. But if you're using an addy weapon, it's unlikely you'll be able to beat him. My advice would be to train your attack to at least 40 to weild a rune weapon. GL bro  Once you're done, you can say you've done the hardest quest in non-members :P
  5. Yeah. I got a level 3 clue scroll during my first 4 days of membership, but I didn't have any quests or anything done, so I kept it in my bank. Couple months later, I dug it up outa there and decided to do it. I had to go to wild twice, kill 3 god wizards un-prepared, and go to an area that can only be accesable once legends was started. Guess what I got. -.- With all items added-up, but about 60 75k woth or items, after all that. PS: What's the most important? :XD:
  6. :-k Um.. Unless you appeal and they un-lock it,.. forever? :wall: I don't really think it's that big of a deal, but I suppose if you wanna keep a clean record and maybe a chance at bieng a p-mod, then just appeal and say they got the wrong guy. If you explain it like you explained above, they'll surely understand. GL bro lol they use an auto msg for almost all appeals. Like if it has something like sorry in an apology then I think they erase it... .. Somehow I doubt that they have something like that. If that was true, you could say "Sorry, but I'll have to bomb down your building now." and get your char. un-locked.
  7. Gratz man  Now enjoy the power of Ancients!!
  8. :-k Um.. 9. I would also advise bringing some reg. (or super if ya're rich :P ) energy pots. It really helps. Even with the food, the damage really adds up pretty fast :?
  10. Well, it's do-able. Thing is, I'm not sure if it'll take maybe 2 trips to kill her once, which wouldn't really make it worth going because you might not even get a D Chain, which would then just be a waste of your cash to buy sharks + pots, ect. Normally, I'd suggest that both people be 95-100+, so I don't really know now. I don't really wanna crush your whole plan, but I haven't tried going to the KQ myself yet, so I don't really know (but I know what I'm talking about, most of my friends have gone and I've read lots of guides). My best suggestions would have to be either that you train your stats some more, or try looking for a 3rd guy. You guys should go and try it out, so you can really make a decision based on what you've experience. :P Whatever you end up doing, GL bro \
  11. Nice way to advertise? :? It took me a lot of times actually Lol I used reg. energy pots, and I'm pretty sure there are some things you have to watch out for that help in you falling down (I'm not completely sure, but I think there were like cracks in the floor or something to watch out for). My advice, just keep tryin  You'll get it eventually, and it's worth it :P
  12. Wierd, I thought I remembered seeing a KQ guide here. :? Have you checked Tip.it? Not the forum, but RS help site part. If that doesn't work, try another RS help site. To be perfectly honest, I don't know if your stats are high enough to effectively kill the KQ yet.. Maybe if you went with 3+ people and the other 2 were 90-95+, but if you plan on soloing, I think it would take you too many trips to really effectively kill her a lot of times. What is your combat level?
  13. Np mate. It really depends on the kinda set-up you're goin' for. Then again, what you could do is wear Legends while skilling or something, then Obby for training. Basicly, one of the main reasons I don't like Obby Cape is because it's too easy to have, and everone has it (nooby pures included). I guess Legends gives you a better rank. But I guess if you wanna look rich, and have a high defence at the same time, Obby's the way for ya to go 8-) Edit: Also, I just think it makes the most of your Attack & Strength if you go for Defender and Climbing Boots. Again, it's up to you, but I would only suggest getting a shield and Rune Boots if you plan on increasing you Defence pretty high. Basicly, at 70 defence, you'll get hit quite a bit no matter what you wear (I don't mean you'll get hit the same if you wear rune or if you wear barrows, just that like 40 more defence bonus doesn't help that much, rather then +20 slash bonus, and +7 more strength bonus), so you might as well make the most of your high strength.
  14. It's at the general store on that island place south of brimhaven... And north west of the nature altar, can't exactly remember the name :? But they usually have 10 there for a real low price, under 200gp each or something.
  15. Lol yeah, what Dalcyte said :P Players use it in-game to show that they're a Tip.It member. Normally, they'll notice the RSN is the same they saw on the forums, so they say "HYT!!!1!#!! :D" to and see their reaction Lol  If they say Hi back, then you were right. If they say "ftw..??" then.. :-w
  16. I'll try and help with all training areas, but just wanna do melee first. I can see you're trying to go for more of a defencive type of armor. Whip (it says 1,900,000gp - 2,000,000gp, but I cannot confirm since the last time I was a member, it was 2.6m) Torag Helm 225,000gp - 275,000gp Torag Plate 850,000gp - 900,000gp Torag Platelegs 400,000gp - 500,000gp Obby Cape 225,000gp - 250,000gp Glory/Fury 65,000gp - 80,000gp/4,500,000gp - 4,700,000gp Obby Shield/Dragon sq 370,000gp - 400,000gp/1,550,000gp - 1,600,000gp Barrows Gloves Rune Boots 120,000gp - 150,000gp Ring of Wealth 45,000gp - 60,000gp :| Those are accurate prices of what you're looking for. If I could making some suggestions, I would suggest you get Rune Defender, Climbing Boots, and Ring of Wealth. This might seem like the set that a poor person would take, but I think the slash attack and strength bonus is worth it more then a little bit more of denfece bonus. And personally, I don't find much use in having a 4m+ Ring. But this is up to you. Edit: For the cape, I guess Obby would be good for starting, but once after some time, go after the Legends Cape  Looks way 1337er :P And then eventually (I'm thinkin' pretty far in the futur) go for Fire Cape \
  17. Actually, making fire runes would probably best for F2P. Only problem is, they're pretty hard to sell. If you wanna make a bigger profit, but take quite a longer time, you could make airs.
  18. Yeah, they want you to think/know that when/if you become a member, you can make your own arrows. Thats part of the benifit of becoming a member. Though I do think that would be nice idea to players, I don't really think Jagex would be too fond of the idea. On the other hand, if they did ever decide to do that, they would only let non-members have bronze and maybe iron if we're really lucky :?
  19. I love this idea :) I was a member for approx. 6 months, and by the time that time ended, my bank was 100% full to the max. It took me half a week almost straight to clear it all! The amount of holiday items I had to drop made me die a lil' inside :( So now, it's an increadible pain just to do any task in non-members, because I have 'bout 2 lines worth of non-tradeable member items I can afford to lose, then I need the other space to put money, holiday items, and runes. After all that, it leaves me with almost no space at all to skill or do anything! This is most likely the best suggestion for F2P I've ever seen =D> Add me to the support list bro \ . : Drgn01 : . Edit: W00T, 20 pages!
  20. I'm not positive, but I've heard that black demons are good to cannon, just north of Steels & Irons in Brimhaven Dungeon. I've also seen many people bring them to blue dragons.
  21. Well, to some extent, I know what you mean. :wall: People constantly mis-spell or say my name, as if they have no idea what it means.. I've heard people call me "Drgno", "Dragn", "Dgn", ect. It doesn't seem like a big mix-up from other's point of view, but after a while, it really get's on my nerves.. Not really that hard to just look at my name and spell it properly But to be honest, yours is pretty cool. Very original, not clumped with any numbers, and a lil' threatning  I've heard lots of people say they would love to change their name, but I think that as long as you've put thought into it, and is original, it's always good :P
  22. To recharge it into a Crystal Bow, simply click "One of your bows please." Then you'll a Crystal Bow, and only 2 seeds in your invent. Then, just asking him two more times, asking the same questions, and you should have 3 Crystal Bows in your invent. Also, d'you know about the cost to recharge it? If I read your post right, you bought the seeds for 900k each, expecting them to already be bows? To recharge each one the first time, it is 900k each. After each recharge, it slowly decreases. Try checking the Ranged Skill Guide on Tip.it, it will most likely show you the other prices.
  23. Yeah, that part is never easy for anyone :wall: My advice would be to just take a minute to see how they all rotate (move around), and look for a safe spot where you can run to the little space surrounded by crates, then when you're there, take a minute to check the next part and try and locate where, and what timing you'll need. Not really sure if that helped, but it's hard to explain it. You'll get it eventually
  24. I suppose you could do that.. But I don't really think it would be worth the time getting 82 construction, and money to get the level, build a dungeon, the monster, ect. Also, I'm not sure about the re-spawn rate for monsters in dungeons, but I believe it's slower then usual. So to be honest, it isn't really worth it. To me, houses are mainly for show (except if you set it up to do barrows). My suggestion is, if you're looking for good, fast training, go to Pest Control. . : Drgn01 : .
