Fairytale I
I really want to complete Fairytale I and II before I start Hunting so that I'll have quick access to the grounds. However, I was reading through the skill requirements for Fairytale I and it says that a high Farming level is suggested. My question is how high? What advantage do you have with a higher Farming level in this quest? FYI: My skill levels are in my sig. :) Thank you!

Fletching not another easy skill?
Can you turn a profit from buying Yew Longbows and just High Alching them (assuming you purchase your Nature Runes)? I know this doesn't affect Fletching at all, but I'm trying to remember.

Melee Training P2P
Okay, that's basically what I've been doing so far with members combat training. My Slayer level isn't very high, but I've been getting my assignments from the Slayer Master in the Edgeville Dungeon. It just seems like he doesn't assign me enough of one monster. The best assignment I got was to kill 65 Ogres and even that didn't last very long.

Melee Training P2P
I'm looking at training my Attack and Defence both to 70, but I'm not sure what to fight. I'd like to find a monster that doesn't require lots of food or potions, has semi-decent drops (perhaps clues), and isn't in a crowded place. I've heard about Experiments and Rock Crabs, but I also heard that they're very crowded now days (and I'd need to do the quest(s) to have access to them). Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Starting Farming
I'm actually online right now at the farming patch north of Ardougne.

Starting Farming
Alright, thank you so much! I had planned on using the patch north of Ardougne and the one in Catherby. I figured I'd just fish in Catherby while I'm waiting and watching my crops grow. Is it worth the trouble and cash to let a farmer watch over your crops for you so they don't get diseased? I figured since I'd be close to both patches, I wouldn't need to worry about having a NPC watch over them.

Starting Farming
I'm about to start Farming and I've read through the Farming Skills Guide on this site a few times, but I'm curious to know the easiest/quickest way to get from level 1 to 30. I plan on just starting with Potatoes, but which farming patches should I use? Should I plant potatoes on multiple patches at once or just stick with one for now? Also, what other crops should I start planting afterwards to get me to level 30 pretty easily? Any kinds of tips and advice would be helpful. Thank you! \

Monkey Madness questions
I'm on Chapter 2 of the Monkey Madness quest and I'm about to head back to find that mage guy to enchant my amulet, I guess. However, the items needed for this section are a bit unclear to me on Tip.it's guide. They say to bring an amulet mould, and I'm assuming they mean the Monkey Amulet Mould, but I wasn't sure if they meant a regular amulet mould or not. Just checking... Also, is it really necessary to make two Monkey Amulets? I grabbed 2 Dentures and made 2 Gold Bars, but all this stuff is starting to take up too much space in my bag and I need all that space for food and Antipoison Potions. Would I do okay with just one? And lastly, how would you recommend I go about defeating the Jungle Demon? My stats are in my signature, so maybe you could use that to go by. Should I range or melee? If I range, where is a good safe spot and what arrows should I use and how many? Thank you!

Fishing
That you can test yourself. I've always used the Barbarian Village to fish my Trout and Salmon for quick experience.

Effective Money Making Options
When I try to enter the Nature portal through the abyss, it says I need to complete a certain quest (forgot the name).

Effective Money Making Options
Hey everyone. This past month I've been getting the feel for RuneScape members and so far so good. I've been playing around with some of the new skills and tried some new money-making techniques, but I'm kinda stumped right now. What would be an effective way to make money with the skill leves I have (stats in signature)? Yes, I know they're pretty low, but I've tried picking flax and making bow strings, I wanted to try crafting Nature Runes but I haven't done the necessary quests yet, I've tried my luck with some level 1 and 2 Clue Scrolls (best thing I got was a Guthix Robe Top), but I'm not making steady cash. I'm sorry for yet another "Need Money Pl0x!" topic, but there are just so many options to choose from but I don't really know which ones work the best. Any sorts of tips and advice are appreciated! Thank you :)

26 November 2007 - The Grand Exchange
There's a few things I don't quite understand yet: When you put up one or multiple items for sale in the GE, can you go off and do your own thing without having to wait at the GE for someone to buy? In other words, will the game let you know when someone has purchased something from you no matter where you are? Also, how does JAGeX determine which player gets the sale? For instance, say there are hundreds of people selling Dragon Longswords at the exact same price and there's one person that wants to buy one at the time. Which one of those one-hundred sellers gets the sale? :-k

Fremennik Trials
Hey all, I just recently purchased members and I plan on doing the Fremennik Trials pretty soon, but I want to get the Fremennik Sword in the process. On the Quest Guide here, it suggests I buy a super set to help out with the battle. I was just wondering if it's totally necessary that I buy one (stats are in sig). And if so, how much do super sets normally run? Thank you!

Question about monthly payment
In the e-mail I received from JAGeX via the in-game message system, it said that the $5.00 per month would be taken out of my card automatically each month until I decide to cancel. My question is, does it matter that I paid with debit? Also, how exactly does that work? When you get down to 1 day left of members do they automatically bump it back up to 30 the next day and take out $5.00 more? I just want to make sure I don't ever have to worry about paying manually. Thanks!

Low Level Herbs?
Okay, thank you both! Do Chaos Druids drop level 1 clues as well?

Low Level Herbs?
I've just started my Herblore skill (level 3) and I want to know what enemies I should fight to get low level herb drops like Guam, Marrentill, Tarromin, etc. So far I've just been fighting Al Kharid Warriors, but I haven't been getting any Guam leaves. Thanks!

Pouches question
I just unlocked the Abyss and I was wondering if you can buy different sized Pouches from other players or do you have to obtain them through drops? Thanks.
-
I just upgraded!
Alright, thanks for the pointers guys. I'm starting the Druidic Ritual quest right now to open up Herblore and I guess I'll just explore around for a little bit. Oh, I also meant to ask, do you need to already have the Watch and Sextant before you can receive level 2 clues? I was fighting some Guards earlier just to see if I could get one but I didn't know if I needed to have those items first. Thank you.

I just upgraded!
Hey everyone! I was able to talk myself into paying for a membership with my Debit Card this morning and... well, I'm subscribed! I've read through the New P2P Members guide on this website and it seems pretty helpful, although I'm a bit confused on which Quests I should put in top priority. If knowing my skills would help, they're in my signature. Also, if anyone would like to just chat in the game, please let me know! It's a bit intimidating coming into members without knowing anyone, so a few chat buddies would be nice just to help me get familiar with P2P. I'd really appreciate it! Thank you!

on what to train ranged in f2p?
You could try either Moss Giants in the Varrok Sewers or the Ice Giants in the Ice Cave near Port Sarim or in the Wilderness. I don't know how efficient Range training is with those monsters because I've never tried, but if you want Big Bones those are pretty much your only options.
-
Black Arm or Phoenix gang??
You could always try entering both hideouts in Varrock to find out which gang you joined. Also, if my instincts are correct, you can click on the Shield of Arrav quest in your Quest List and read the synopsis of the quest (if you completed it or not) and it should say which gang you joined.

Dragon Slayer
You might also want to bring some runes to teleport to whichever city you can just in case you get in a desperate situation or run out of food. You should be able to pull it off, though. Have fun and good luck!

New to P2P
I trained my Range on the mountain near the Black Knight Fortress. I would just shoot down at the Black Knights with Bronze Arrows without worrying about having to get hit or pick up my arrows. It's a slow process after about level 60, but it's still effective... at least I think so. I try to find training spots that are rarely crowded even if they aren't the most efficient. I sort of found that spot just exploring, but apparently that spot had been found a long time ago before I started playing.

New to P2P
From you wording I am guessing you are a teenager with a job/allowance. Runescape's monthly membership is less than a lunch so I say its worth it considering you will enjoy it 6-8 hours a week every month instead of 45 minutes. Yeah, I'd love to have more time to play but right now I'm juggling college and a job on weekends plus I'm in a local band and focus a lot of my free time playing music and my guitar. I enjoy F2P just because I don't have to worry about getting my money's worth since it's free and I can play it during my down time, but I'd like to make some decent progress with P2P with the time I have available to play. Not to mention training is getting much slower with most of the skills since I'm at a decent level with a majority of them. Although, I would like to acheive 1,000 skill total in F2P before I decide to upgrade. :D Thanks!

New to P2P
I've also been thinking about upgrading my account to members and I was wondering these same questions. Would it be wise for me to go for Monkey Madness and the Dragon Scimitar as soon as I become a member (skills in signature)? Also, taking into consideration that I'll be paying for membership with my own money, I was wondering if playing only 6-8 hours per week would still be worth the $5.00 per month for membership. Do you think it'd be worth it? Thanks so much!
