Music Location question
Hey guys, I've been running around the F2P world trying to complete the Jukebox for F2P and I still haven't been able to find Armadyl Alliance and Armageddon. According to Tip.it, they're considered F2P songs even though their locations are in the God Wars Dungeon. :-k Can anyone tell me where I can find this place on the F2P map? Thanks!

Strength Training at 74 Strength to 85?
I second this guy. Flesh Crawlers are definitely the best experience per hour for F2P (which is what I am). I'm not sure about P2P, but with Flesh Crawlers I've calculated about 30k experience per hour if you focus on your goal. You won't even need to buy your food either. Just bring a Tinderbox, Fly Fishing Rod, Feathers, and an axe of some sort (or logs) with you. Catch some Salmon and Trout and use them. They're more than sufficient and you'll stay down there for several hours with a bag of about 24 of them. It's a cheap method, but it will probably take a bit longer than several P2P methods.

Tired of Runescape Music?
You and I have the same tastes in music. I listen to the following bands when training combat: Alesana The Devil Wears Prada (Plagues is their best album yet) Killswitch Engage Saosin Enter Shikari Drop Dead, Gorgeous Chiodos The Hurt Process A Day To Remember A Skylit Drive The list goes on...

attack, strength, or defence...which is the best to train on?
It's never too late to train anything. Just train your strength up a bit and then maybe get your Attack and Defense each to 60. If you had 65-70 Strength and 60 Attack and Defense you'd probably beat him without much of a problem.

Crafting F2p (close plz)
Well, I know you're not looking at spending a lot of money but in order to advance 9 levels at your position the quickest way would be to buy Cowhides for 100-120gp each and then tan them to make Hardleather Bodies. Afterwards you could sell your bodies to a general store to just make back a little bit of the money you spent.
-
3+Million Down The Drain!!!
Yeah, what he said. Losing a little bit of money is better than losing it all. If you sell them for 25gp each, you'll lose 500k but that's better than not having anything. You'd still have 2.5M.

70 Crafting
I'm at 60 Crafting right now and the only method I've used is buying Cowhides at 100-120gp each and making Hardleather Bodies. You don't make any kind of profit but it's cheaper than buying Silver and making Tiaras. It's a pretty fast and simple method, but then again I'm F2P.

F2P 99 Strength question
Thanks Goobore, that was helpful. I definitely see your logic on having fun during your gameplay rather than level-grinding as a chore, but any kind of leveling requires dedication to a specific thing that can get tedious. I do plan on taking little breaks here and there (every 5-10 levels) to do something else besides melee training. I'm a pretty focused person, but everyone needs a little break every once in a while. Great feedback; very supportive! I plan to start this "challenge" once I make some more money (just for the sake of having it). The only thing I kept when I quit about 3-4 months ago was my money. When I left, I didn't bother to really sell anything so I gave most of my stuff away to new players and hosted a small drop party. I started playing again with approximately 5.1M coins and decided to make some more (I'm now up to 6.2M). I know it's not much now days, but hey, I've been a free player the entire time.

F2P 99 Strength question
Alright, will do. I guess it'd be nice having a training partner. :)

F2P 99 Strength question
Haha yeah, I was beginning to think that myself. I'll probably just switch between Flesh Crawlers and Lesser Demons in the Crandor volcano whenever I start to get extremely bored. Another question: Would bringing along a few Strength Potions speed up training a little? I figured if I can hit higher than normal the training might go a little faster, I just wasn't sure if shaving a few minutes off of training is worth the space in my bag for food. I was reading somewhere that some guy recommended using Strength Potions for training Strength, but I don't know if it's really worth it or not in the long run. Thank you,

best place to mine silver
As a matter of fact that's just about the only place other than a few rocks underneath Varrock (for F2P, that is).

F2P 99 Strength question
Well, P2P isn't really an option for me. I'm living on my own and don't really have the extra $5.00 per month (I know, money's tight right now). Plus, accomplishing this on F2P would give me a greater sense of mastery anyway. But thanks for all the replies. I guess I'll stick with Flesh Crawlers for now. I'm not really in any hurry, I just wanted to put my patience and focus to the test. Thanks again!

F2P 99 Strength question
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, if I remember correctly, I was training on Flesh Crawlers before I left RS for a while. I just couldn't remember if the experience per hour was worth training on them the whole time. Would they be sufficient enough to train on them from now until I hit 99? Thanks again,

F2P 99 Strength question
It's been several months since I've been on RuneScape but earlier in the week (during some down time between college and work) I decided to log on to my old account. It's an F2P account with 60 Attack, 70 Strength, and 60 Defence. I figured since I'm starting to play periodically again I should go for level 99 in a combat stat. Well, I've chosen to go for 99 Strength in F2P, but I'm not sure how to go about this in the most efficient way. What enemies should I fight, what kind of food should I use, and how much will it roughly cost me in the long-run to achieve this goal? I know it'll take much longer than it would in P2P, but that's kinda the point; it makes it even more challenging. So if anyone can provide some tips to make this go a lot more smoothly, please do! Any help is appreciated! Thanks,

What's up with randoms?
It's funny you should mention this. I got hit with a Mime event twice in one sitting (got the top, pants, gloves, and boots) when I was fighting Flesh Crawlers. I don't think that'll ever happen again with any random event for as long as I play. I really think it's just coincidence, though. I know JAGeX is taking extra precautions due to all of the macroers but I don't think they're increasing the rate of random events. Although I wouldn't mind one more Mime event for the mask. Then I'd have the full set with all 4 emotes. \

The secrets of tutorial island
Does anyone know if JAGeX plotted Tutorial Island on the world map? If so, where is it located (in perspective of other major cities)?

Can't find this song!
Oh, thank you so much! I was looking for a Music Guide on the RuneScape site but I guess I just passed it up. If it were a snake it would've bit me. Thanks again, I'll check it out.

How long until 99 str?
It's pretty easy to do the math yourself using the tools on this website. Just use the EXP Table and have a calculator handy.

Can't find this song!
I've been wandering around the wilderness looking for the song "Lightness" but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I checked this site and it says "Charred Arena in Wilderness" for the location, but I went there and it plays the song "Wilderness". I walked everywhere around that area but couldn't unlock "Lightness". Can anyone recall where they found it if you have it? I'm F2P, by the way, and it says that it can be unlocked in a F2P world. I'm trying to complete the music jukebox for F2P. That's why I'm asking.

Bored in RuneScape
Lately, I've been bored in F2P and I've just been running around trying to complete the music Juke Box in the F2P world. Believe it or not, it's a lot more fun than you'd initially think. I've explored every corner of the wilderness and I've got come neat tunes to show for it.

f2p SKILLER OUTFIT?
I've always liked the full Mime outfit, but it's really tough to get. If you're just starting, I would go for like full Bronze and red gloves/cape. I don't know why, I've just always thought this looked cool. Stay away from the Prince/Princess outfit though... everybody and their mother wears them.

Favorite runescape song?
All of the songs in the Lumbridge-Varrock region are cool. I guess they just stuck with me because I spent a lot of time there when I first started the game. Now when I listen to them it brings back memories.

Gonna sound crazy, but.. 85 crafting
Honestly and truly I would stick with Cowhides the entire way. It's probably the cheapest method out there for the EXP you get from making Hard Leather Bodies. You get 35 EXP per hide, which cost about 100-150gp each. Yes, you're going to need a lot; and yes, it will cost you a bunch, but it's probably the most efficient way for F2P.
-
Giving It Up???? Is It Legal?????
Technically, yes. That goes against the Account Sharing/Trading Rule.

Crafting
Yeah, Cowhides give the best experience for the money. Silver works too, but it can get pricey at high amounts.
