  1. Stay away from confusing names. It's names like this that frustrate me when they try to pull a fast one on me and it takes forever to figure out how to type their name when you report them. Either change your name, or never do anything that would provoke someone to report you.
  2. Keep in mind that Curse will not give Hitpoints experience though. I realize you're mainly concerned about Magic, but I just thought I'd throw this in here.
  3. Yes, true, but you wouldn't be taking advantage of your hits. Hitting a 3 every time isn't very much experience even if they respawn rather quickly. I've been sticking with the Minotaur method as of late and it seems to be working out pretty well. I achieved 2 more strength levels (went from 60 to 62) in just a few days and I have over 3k Iron arrows and 40 Right Skulls. \
  4. Alright, thanks for all the input guys. It seems like Minotaurs are the popular choice, so I'll try that. The only negative side to that is the distance from the closest bank. Would you use Edgeville bank or Varrock's? Thanks again,
  5. I've been having some trouble trying to figure out what food I should train with when training Strength. I'm a hybrid PKer, but my Defence is only 1, so no matter what enemy I train on, I'm going to get hit like crazy. Lately I've been fighting lvl 21 Guards because their max hit is only 3, but the only thing is I find myself running to the bank because they NEVER MISS ME! I've been using cooked Trout and Salmon, but I'm going through them too fast. I was thinking about trying Tuna, but I don't know how expensive that would get. I'M F2P BY THE WAY! Any help or advice would be appreciated, Thanks,
  6. Well, if you are correct, then a Happy Birthday to them! I hope they're enjoying themselves. \
  7. Yeah, that happens at least once a year because of the related holiday. Last year the Halloween Masks increased in price around Halloween and the Santa Hats' prices always increase around Christmas.
  8. Yeah, maybe when they die their heads should come off... but then again that might be a bit extreme for younger players.
  9. Taking the extra time to bank all 80,000+ ores will turn a huge profit if you were to sell them all for 80-100gp each. That's 8,000,000 coins if you sold them all for 100gp each.
  10. I could use a chat buddy too. I'm semi-new to the game (started during the summer), but I've been working hard at my goals. Feel free to hit me up during the game. RuneScape gets kind of quiet when you don't have any friends like I do, lol. Have a good one,
  11. Not necessarily a "bad" habit, but I find myself right-clicking everyone that walks by to take a look at their names. Some of them are quite creative and funny.
  12. I've been keeping every item I get from random events ever since I started playing. I've kept all the gems I've received from them, Spinach rolls, varieties of sandwiches from the Sandwich lady, Frog Tokens, but there's one item in particular that I collect for absolutely no reason at all... Security Books. So far I have 2234 Security Books in my bank for no particular reason... :wall:
  13. There's only a few people who really inspired me to play the game I do now, and they are Xp3nsiv and Slwbob731024. Xp3nsiv is just a huge role model for me in the game because of his dedication to PKing skills. I've modeled my character mainly off of his and his methods. Slwbob731024 is just an awesome guy. I really admire his attitude and the way he plays the game. I try to develop the same kind of personality towards others in the game, so he's a great role model for me to follow. It's just a shame he sort of semi-quit. I only see him on maybe once a month. :boohoo:
  14. Well, the money I have is always spent towards skills, so I guess I'd go with option 2. I don't believe in judging a character by how much money they have. Sure, I wouldn't complain if I had millions and millions of coins, but I wouldn't play the game any different if I had all that money.
  15. Okay, thank you very much!
  16. Yeah, I probably should have mentioned the method I'm usuing... #-o I'm just ranging the Fortress Guards by the Black Knight's Fortress from the Ice Mountain. In other words, I'm not getting hit nor am I retrieving my arrows. Thanks again!
  17. Looking at the title of this topic I'm sure you're thinking it's a no-brainer, but I was curious about what amulet I should wear while training Range. So far I've been using the Amulet of Accuracy believing that it's helping my aim, but I heard that the Amulet of Power adds a bonus to your Range. Which amulet is the best to use? Thanks,
  18. Most of the time I'll listen to my iTunes Library while I play, so I turn music off but I'll leave sound and environment sound on. If I'm not listening to other music, I leave everything on.
  19. Hmm, let's see... this one is actually the only screenshot I have. Taken on 9/27/06 (exactly one month ago almost): On Friday I plan on taking a new screenshot of my character to compare the pictures to see how much I've progressed in a month. Over 200 Total Levels, I can tell you that right now.
  20. Speaking in terms of F2P, I would say the Cabbage patch outside of Falador. The nearest bank would be Falador's East Bank. It's the patch off the side of the road between Draynor and Falador. That's the first one that comes to my head, but there could be a closer one... :-k
  21. The players were the ones that differentiated 'noob' from 'newb'. I honestly don't see the difference other than the spelling. Both of them ultimately give off the same effect to me anyway. Bottom line, just ignore it. Be happy and play the game. :D
  22. I think it would be cool if they made a holiday-related quest for non-members. The Christmas event last year seemed almost quest-like.
  23. A little uncalled for, but I apologize for not meeting your standards. :-k
  24. Username: Nul Oblivion Status: F2P Thank you for considering a give-away. I realize I don't have at least 40 posts, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try to push it with what I have. But anyway, I think it's pretty cool when veteran players who grow out of interest of this game leave their riches and belongings to other players. Best of luck to everyone!
  25. Here are some funny fakes I've made out of sheer boredom:
