Erm, people sell in dribs and drabs (100-300bones), for about 1.5kea. You can make squeeze 1.7kea on the forums if you're selling a lot, but all the players who want/cant afford 99 pray got it right after con, so dont expect any large demands... Hence why people sell in small amounts/buy in small amounts.

I find Free-to-play players with rare items as a great merchanting source. When i did merchant, i've many-a-time brought Pumpkins and Eggs for about 8.6/8.4m respectively and sold them for 10M/9.4M. Many of the non-merchant F2pers just want to get rid of their rares, so they're easy investments. While you're there, go to the Yew section and try to buy bulk for 300-305ea, then sell on forums for 350ea. Sad to say though, many of the bulk sellers are autoers selling at the forum price, but you could be lucky.

This really is pointless, spam inviting thread... Noob is just a word people use to make themselves feel good inside... Really they have very unfulfilled lifes and like to use computer games as a source of making them feel big by shouting at low levels. Zzzamorack is the god of level 3 skillers, he is a noob?...No... Noob is how you act, not what level you are..

I personally lure a man from Edgeville as close to the bank as possible and chat to people in world 99 while cursing ;) Not like they're going to do much damage to you.

I really do not see how those stats 'own at duel arena', but i'd suggest you just fletch... Its a steady, frequent income.

Perhaps read again... When i quit Timmy Eng, i decided to give the items and money to a friend of mine, as i had no itention of coming back. About 2 months later i decided to give this account a shot and he gave me 14M back, out of about the 18M i gave him... He had no reason to, i did not ask, he was being nice and helping me out... Chezedude had 85/85/60 and he won millions ... I know he had mage and range, but 90% of his stakes were melee... Im'a keep it at 40 for now, then see how it goes. Problem with getting 70 is, i'll be like every other staker out there :uhh: Thanks for the comments, im off back to school. :wall:

Well on my old level 75 account i used this guide, range all the way, but i had 45 Defence, so used D hide top, legs, fury, ranger ring, ranger boots, archer helm and my fletching cape with Karils bow. I got Jad down to about 30 life when i messed up pray as his healers were killing me and i got hit for 65 o.O Personally, if you're 70+ range, (i was 70), then i'd range all the way. But, your set up seems good enough. I'd take out out the helm and wear Guthans when you're ranging, and with that spot, wear Karils top maybe? Goodluck :

Well, first of all i thought i'd buy a rare as an investment, so i could train and then sell it afterwards. I went into world 1 and got a pumpkin for 8.6M (brilliant deal). Then some guy the next day was buying like 30 Pumps at 10Mea, so i thought i'd sell him mine. I was then on about 16M. I mostly merchanted Elegant items as people do not really know the price. Then at about 19M i some how brought a D chain for 15.4m ( :lol: ), so it for 16.2M and got two disks of returning. I then saw someone buying rares for items. As noone seemed interested, i offered two disks for full dragon if he add, he then offered another chain which he got earlier in the day... Obviously i wasn't going to say no \ Thanks, i just hit 53 Attack. : Edit: Yeah, i was thinking about getting 75/85/40 and seeing how i do. Then if i think i need higher, getting something like 85/85/60 then trying that out... Problem with having defence at 70 and armour on is no one stakes with armour on now'adays. :? Some may know i quit my main, Timmy Eng, and i've dug up this old pure to try and experiment with as a staker. The first half a week i spent making some money, as i had about 14M a mate gave me for Timmy's items (before i quit i gave all my items to him, and when i came back he gave me the worth of the items in cash). I merched up to about 30M ish, and with the fluke of someone giving me 1 Full Dragons and another Chain for 2 Disks of returning, i set about work on it. So, when i got this account all it had was 40 Range and 20 Defence, maybe 26 Hitpoints at about level 24... So, i first worked range to 60! 60 Range That took about 3 days, using a bow to 55, then Chins to 60. Heres my highest score with Chins (normal ones for this round), at Pc. Chinchompas Then i remembered Mage Arena, and the hawt cape. So, off i went to get... 60 Mage! Took me about 2-3 days tellying/alching ;) Then i did Mage Arena with 20 defence and using Fire Blast and 1 pray. Had one cake left :ohnoes: With my Range and Mage, a little help from the Waterfall Quest for some melee levels, i went and did... D slayer! So, after about a week and a half, im left with... Stats as of 16th March 2007. Currently working on getting 55 Attack and then im gonna try do Monkey Madness so i can make sure i dont go over 60 Attack, as my short term level goals are 60/70/40. I will then go and get 70 Attack, 85 strength and level Defence to 60 (I'd like some ideas on this, should i get it?) Eventually, i'll probably get 70 Range... I use ALL my pest point on Hitpoints, but i only have like 40, so i'll get 100 later and pick up the Hp levels i dropped off by doing quests. Please Note: I am by no means asking you to rate this account as a staker now, i am just asking for your opinions, and if you think this staker is going somewhere. I know these stats could be done within a few days, but i have other commitments, and my no-lifing level isn't a high as my merchanting level Also, should i get 60 Defence or keep it at 40 when i stake? I plan to get the best possible gloves from RFD, with out the need of pray - I think thats Rune or Addy? (maybe) So, what d'you think? :)
