Well last night i went with my Girlfriend of 1 years 6 months (im only 17) and we went to London to watch Mary Poppins at the Prince Albert Theatre. Its was brilliant. We left home at about 11.20am and got back at about 2am the next day. - Like 14 hours (about 8 of walking about London). Snow caused mayhem to all the trains on the way home, so many were cancelled - But it was still great. : Cost me nearly ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã200 though, and still being a student with a low paying part time job, maybe not the best idea, but it was an early Valentines Day present - And nothing went wrong (which is good for me, as im the SpongeBobSquarePants of Humans). I thought i'd make this thread so people can share their first real day out with their partners (or mates), and tell everyone what it was they did, how it went, what went wrong/right. Hope to see some good posts :thumbsup:

Im thinking about buying Lost Planet for my Xbox 360, but im wondering if anyone here has it/has played it. I dont havr Xbox Live, and i've heard Gears Of War story mode is actually better? : You take 10% of your coffers (lets say you have them full, so it maxed at 75k for the day) and multiply this by your aproval rating (say 90%). 75,000 gp * .9 is 67,500 gp. That's how much will be spent on gathering resources for that day. The full 75,000 gp will be deducted, but since your approval rating was only 90% 7,500 gp was wasted. This "work" is saved from day to day until you withdraw it in resources. Example continued: The next day, you raised your approval to 100% and had another 75,000 gp removed. This 75,000 gp is added to the 67,500 gp for a total "work" of 142,500 gp that can be used to buy resources. Erm this bit confuses me about the Coffers... They're saying that 75 000* 9 is 67,500, when its 675000... Is that a mistake or can some explain this more clearly to me? Thanks.

Howdy, i've posted this on a Pixel-Artist's thread, but im worried he may not see if before im in need of it - I need it for a Logo to stick on my Board Game i'll be making for Business Studies. Basically, what i'd like is a Sig/Banner which is White which fades into black, and rhave a Top Hat in the white corner, and the typing 'Boom And Bust', written in the black part, in white font... Hmm, make sense? Be cool to have it like 35% White, 65% Black with the background. Be great if anyone could help, if not, its cool. :

This is gonna sound odd and im not sure if anyone can actually do it, but heres an idea: Like a black, wavey background which fades into white on the right hand side. We need 'Boom and Bust' written in white on the black wave and then a black top hat on the other side? Might sound totally weird, but could you see if its possible? We need it for a college project. Wow, alot of responses, alot of good points. Today i saw another example of racism againts Muslims/Other faiths. I was waiting for the bus, and a Muslim gentleman, about 60ish, was also waiting. A few kids (15-16year olds) scuffled and all started pointing/imitating him... Kinda sad, because they were probably discriminating him because of the way he looked - Not because of what the media portrays.
