  1. No-life mine Iron, souly in Al-khaird mine, and drop the ores. Dont bother with coal as you're going for the xp. Dont bother banking the ores either. Once you're 85, mine 2k Rune ore and sell them for 22m... Get a santa. If you can mine 10k iron a day, thats a week till you get 85. 2k rune, provided you dont get rune rock pk'd, will take a little longer, but hopping about, aslong as there is the ore, ought to be ok. 10k Iron means you'll have to drop 400 loads of iron. But if you mine 3, drop 3, mine 3, drop 3, you wont even notice it.
  2. Tried lesser demonds on Karajama? They might drop rune meds/full helms and other items. As for f2p, theres not actually much you can range and get returns from. Why not check out the Tip.It bestiary?
  3. For that reason, you should get as high a range level as possible. same for mage. Unless there's something wrong with that for pures? Higher mage is good for the sake of protection against other mages. If you intend to be an ancient, then get 82 mage, then wear mystic with initiate in inventory. If you're gonna be an ancient, i guess range isn't essential, as you need to keep your inventory space limited. How about the authors post what it is he wants to be? A D scimi initiate pure. A Whip '' '' An ancient/initiate pure. Im just fireing blanks.
  4. Not me, my pure had 71 mage with about 60 hitpoints i got from range and melee stats. However, my 10hp friend doesn't intend to playerkill, just get the cape and then skill.
  5. I hit 12 with reds at 75. Oh, i guess i never asked what one he used :? Do you pot to hit 12s?
  6. I have a pure. In fact, my friend, another 10hitpoints pure, has level 82 mage, still with 10hp... This is why people alch - So they can get high mage levels, with low hitpoint levels. Shes going for the 99 mage cape, with 10hitpoints. Believe me, i have 99 fletching, have sold over 200k yew long bows, all to alchers! Most of the alchers brought the nats, and none of them made them... They want mage levels, without the hitpoint levels. Alching and cursing is also very easy, compared to risking your runes killing NPCS
  7. A very good clan called 'Affliction' will be your best bet. Last time i checked it was 90+. If you look about, im sure people have the link in their signature somewhere. Also: Check the official forums under clans. You dont have to join a pc clan, but JAGeX are making you post Pc teams in the Clan section, and not the Event section. Also, killing spectator trolls, where you kill Dad in the Gnomestronghold quest is also good xp. They're not agressive, and might drop g shields. :
  8. For pure fishing xp, and not money or cooking, fly fish till level 75. Then catch monkfish for 75-99.
  9. Erm, why do people buy the nature runes then? For example, pures by them to alch with... Ever heard of super heat item? That uses nats.
  10. What is the current price of a sara brew and a super restore + how many would I need to buy if I was looking to do 100 trips? Do it in this order if you're gonna take and brew: Pray Dhraocks. Pray Karils. Dont pray Ahrims. ---Sara Brew to heal, maybe 2-3 sips to exceed your hits, then take one sip of your super restore to get your stats back to normal--- Use the Excess pray to kill Guthans, but dont bother repotting after. Dont pray Torag. Dont pray Veracs. In theory, if your defence is high enough, you could do one run with just one or two sips of a super restore (depends how much you drink against ahrim and dharock) and maybe a whole sara brew (4). Brews are 5k each. Supers about 8-9kea. I would show you a set up, but my pure is banned, so i have nothing at the moment - Im going from pass experiences on my main. Edit: With your hawt defence, a brew would make it like 95+. The only one who would probably hit you higher is Verac, where defence doesn't matter. With 60 defence, i could easily go 2-3 runs round in a trip, and i was using fire blast.
  11. Erm, i just asked H-Rassy who got 99 using Chins and he thinks, unpotted, about, at level 80 no higher than 10. So 70, about 8?
  12. It's called the holy wrench. Thank you. I hear it can be a good item to take to barrows, however i have never used it. Also, there is no need to pay on Verac if you use the Sara brew and the rune - Take monkfish as they're only about 50gp each more than lobsters, and they heal more.
  13. Fire Strike requires a fire staff, 2 air runes (30 gp) and 1 mind rune (20 gp) According to the tip.it magic guide, Fire strike yields 11.5 exp for casting, + 24 xp (12 * 2) for the damage. So it gives 1 exp per 1.5 gp. Which is still really good. Unless you're a pure and wont low hitpoints. low hp means if you splash your entangle your 1 dds spec from death. I dont think you quite understand the dimensions of a pure... You obviously aren't going to playerkill with 10 hitpoints... You get the hitpoints from other levels, such as range and strength. Also, splashing curse is considerably cheaper than other methods. Please explain to me why people alch? They get no hitpoint xp from that.
  14. Dont even consider them. Take far to long, give little xp, and they require a striped feathers to catch i believe.
  15. Take a sara brew and a super restore pot for the defence + and health heal. (get rid of the sword) Also use the brew to exceed your hitpoints before drinking the super restore, which will also increase pray. Ditch the d hide top, as you'll still own Ahrims w/o it. Ditch the book and just take the shield - Or use a Zammy book. I believe there is also an item which increase the amout of pray points you get back per dose when it is in your inventory - I'd look into taking that.
  16. Check out the Tip.It skill planner for a rough idea of what fishing level that will get you. :

  18. Well they cost about 5gp each on forums at the moment, so thats not really much. I'd have to say fly fish a shilo, and bank the raws as i hear there is a bank near by(unlike Barbarian Village). However, when you hit about 85-90, try Monks are they give good xp and money. Goodluck.
  19. Holy, they're selling for about 750gp each at the moment! Everyone go hunt them! Thats some insane money. Sorry, i've no personal experience of hunting the critters, but i'd advise you go and hunt them while the price is high.
  20. Did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe, a long bow might be more useful to kill monsters at a greater distance? For example, the Archers in the Rangers Guild tower? Logically, imagine holding a longbow, and a shortbow. Which would you be able to operate faster, considering the size? I'd say short bow. So, answer to your question, short bow is faster. Willow comp bows, i've found, are about the same speed as a long bow, so stick with a regular willow short bow when you hit 40 range. Whether or not Longbows hit more often is debateable, but im not sure. Like stated, they give the same bonus, so you wont be hitting any less in damage, with a shortbow.
  21. Simple: Do the quests need to wear initiate. Get 58 attack - Do monkey madness and get D scimi and 60 attack (from the quest xp) Also train strength before quest - Then train for 80+ strength. Get 31 pray. Then you'll have 60 80 20 31 Then when you have them get. 70 attack 90+strength 20 defence 52 pray Use a whip, and smite. Do use pest control for levels, as playerkillers need high hitpoints. Also, get 70 range for D hide legs, and [bleep]ey vamps if you dont want to do RFD
  22. A very good reply. What i was hoping for, a mature tip.iter response. The definition of 'no-lifing' i guess isn't universal, so people would be open to their own opinions of what no-lifing is. You have a very good definition there. It is sad that people dont appreciate the effort required to get a skill cape, and yes it is hard; even cooking and fletching. (i have 16m fletching xp, it didn't take long in hour of playing, as i was 'good' at that skill). As for the definition of 'nerd', i'd guess someone who 'no lifes' could be defined as a nerd? Depends ones perception of the word nerd, like you said.
  23. Post count does show loyalty to the forum, as long as posts are constructive... I try to make sure my points count, however, you'll notice some of the OT threads are simply 'Fave shampoo' which are simple, one word answers.
  24. Ok, this is basically a place to talk about whether or not someone is a 'no lifer' or just bored... Its been half term this week, so i've had alot of long days, as badmintons off, my girlfriends away, so i've resorted to some long haul playing of Runescape. Maybe 4-5 hours a day? Im just woodcutting and posting on forums, as my pures banned at the moment, nothing strenuous. So, say i was to get 77-90 woodcutting in 5 days, would that make me a nerd, or just bored? Some people max out in melee and get 99 pray in a year. No-lifer, or just bored? I mean, im not kidding, i have alot of work to do, and a very active life... But i got 90-99 fletching i six days... Is that sad, or just determination? As far as im concerned, you cant dictate whos a no-lifer or not, as 9/10 you're just jealous the person has what you dont. Runescape, whether you deny it or not, does take skill... Anyone can get 99 fletching stringing eventually, but stringing 150k yew longs in 30 hours, or 100 hours, whos more skilfull?... The person who does it in less time. Doesn't make them a nerd, as its actually taken them less time, it just makes them more skillfull in my opinion. Post your thoughts.
  25. How long is the ban, perm i assume? I dont really understand what you've said, as the grammar is terrible, but keep trying i guess. Goodluck
