Like I said before they are not bots, just afkers. It's not a coincidence, it happens all the time with these welfare servers. And guess what, I never talk ingame...would you assume I bot because I have no desire to be 'rs friends' with you? Or socialize or interact with you in any way?

Na you tb -> entangle -> claw. I pked a few rcers earlier but they're hard to come by now. None of the 09 prods have the balls to risk those dhides and a glory. After I pk you I hop worlds, no point in camping one server all day. You rage quitting after I pk you a few times.

The site wasn't taken down. It is being DDoSed. One of the admins left and started a new botting site due to a lack of pay from the first site. They are both in a DDoS battle to try and steal each other's traffic. Also, it is still unknown who specifically cleaned the accounts. There are multiple admins, no one knows who to trust. There are many different stories floating around now. Some say one of the admins that made scripts did it before he left (like n64jive also said) and then started another botting site and that now the two are ddosing each other. Then there's another story that says the client itself was altered when the site was hacked a while ago, and the admins are blaming it on the former admin just to cover their asses...etc etc.

Doubt it, but I saw that guy lose a lot in that video posted on the other page. He probably is just rich and stakes a lot. If hes losing that much maybe he should find a different hobby. it's k he'll just mooch off his sheep

I read botting forums. If it was open-source, why didn't they check the code for scripts that sent their login details to the owners of the client? It's constantly being updated, could have been sneaked in at any time. I stopped rcing maybe a week ago, after completing my goal of top 2k rank. I still have my bank (including my 1.7M death runes), if you're wondering :thumbup:

The most popular free bot client collected and stored every user's login details, resulting in a lot of accounts having their banks cleaned shortly after the free trade update. If someone you know had their banks cleaned recently, they were probably using these bots. The bot site was since taken down by the owners, coincidentally also the owners of one of the biggest rwt sites. So if you've noticed a large drop in the number of bots recently, this is why. Not true. I bought 10k gold bars earlier, sold 1, then only 1 bought, not another 10k. Ok, I didn't test it that much. I just sold the same amount instead. So try selling all the bars and buy them again. That's not a bug then.

Because they said in the Q&A these limits would stay. The poll only said no price restrictions. Also just got confirmation by some pmods. Jagex is working on a fix and they will punish those who massively took advantage of the bug. I just checked and there's no jmod posts on the matter to pmods. I've got to say that you should never take something a pmod says about a future update as 100% certain, since we rarely get anything related to future content or bugfixing. If they heard something from a jmod in pm or in a clan chat then that works, but then what does it matter if they are a pmod? Unless you can verify this don't post alarmist rumors. Dozens or hundreds of thousands of people made a profit today in the Grand Exchange. Thousands of these players made 8 or 9 digits or even more. Are you going to ban everyone above a certain number? :roll: That was a viable way of distributing punishment for the penguin glitch, where the number of perpetrators who got more than a handful of points was in the dozens or hundreds and were reported multiple times. But seeing as you can't report someone for trading in the GE, and since the list is so large, trying to hand out scalable punishments would be a colossal waste of time that could go into making the systems better (which should have been done before the update!!!). Besides, I'd rather go after the thousands of people who abused the staking bugs today because that is more pressing than people buying and selling as normal. They should have put such a massive update through several more months of testing before releasing it. I have low expectations for QA but still...At least 3 distinct ways to cheat in staking. Corporeal Beast broken again. GE limits broken. Dungeoneering mechanics broken. All these systems needed to have been tested together - all of these would have been discovered within several minutes of normal playtesting, which either means they only test the most essential new content or the testing environment is not realistic enough to replicate even obvious glitches in the real game. Neither is good. I'm gonna need a tl;dr for that thanks :thumbup:
