I'm yet to try royal crossbow on the new Nex, so just chaotic crossbow with diamond + ruby, ranged armor, and a melee weapon switch for when she uses deflect ranged. Get the dungeoneering rewards. And go to a mass of 12+ people, that idea of that is that your mistakes don't slow down the team as much as they would on a small team

Prayers, magic spells (teleports, combat spells, skilling spells), quick chat responses maybe, food and potions for boss hunting, familiar actions, etc. Not everyone will use it for combat. Prayers = Combat Combat Spells = Combat Boss Hunting = Combat Who the hell would waste a slot there for quickchat response? Now, about skilling spells, that one can be used entirely for no combat, like herb runs and stuff But imagine making your action bar when there are no abilities, in the case of boss hunting, ok you got potions, you got food, you got prayers, you got any equipment swap you may need. Now abilities come out, would you really keep the same bar? You'd have to revamp it to include the abilities

Just came up with a question: When are they updating DG ring in beta? As far as I know they're still the old ones which don't adjust to the new system

It was more of a, why have an action bar without abilities? Sure you can put pots and stuff but once the abilities are release the action bar will be used for them, so there's no point in getting used to having the bar filled with items when, in the end, it won't be L

I think the most logical thing would be to have it all happen at once

Why would you bring high melee gear at nex? All she does is magic and the occasional melee attack, you'll get ripped appart Spectral shield is useless, only used for anti tanking Do you know if the bleeding effect is deflected by Nex? Because if it's not then the royal crossbow might still be useful Since you're a first timer I strongly suggest you go on a mass before trying a small team

Finally a BTS I love 100%, I'm really looking forward the GWD Rework, maybe I'll get back to nex and try to buy that last piece of pernix I need, and I like how the 2 quests, despite being novice, include high level content post-quest :D

Graphics team is doing a pretty good damn job. Can't wait for this + Al Kharid update. I wonder if they're going to change Virtus/Pernix graphics as well?

Wait, you did that in the beta? I killed QBD multiple times in bandos and armadyl with little problem. :P I was trying different setups to see how they worked. The best one was royal (Although dual CCB was never tried with dragonbane bolts), and I never tried melee either

Well, I'm actually a bit more happy about Royal Crossbow. I thought the fact that it became 2H and lost it's unique bleeding effect would make it crap, turns out it didn't. Tried QBD yesterday with 4 different setups First was Royal crossbow, quick kill Second was dual ccb without dragonbane bolts (cba to make). It was hell Third was Gano + Arma Storm with arma bstaff, didn't manage to kill her, souls and grotworms have very high mage def and I splash on them a lot Fourth was Gano + Arma Storm with Ahrim's wand and arcane, didn't manage to kill, same reason as above Despite Royal crossbow being slower, it has a very high damage output, which makes up for the lack of shield (I also didn't use dreadnips or many titan scrolls on first kill cause I was still getting used to the keyboard smashing)

The only bad thing I see is that, Al-Kharid is a very small city, so this update, as great and good looking as it may be, won't achieve it's fullest greatness in my opinion, now if we had a city that's as big as Meiyerditch with these kind of graphics, now it would be really awesome. Can't complain though, I don't think there's any city as big as that in game.

Before anyone trolls me how using visual basic, that's the programming language I was taught in the basic course I had to take in college, and I liked it so I decided to make my own app. So far I got the thing working except for one thing: Updates. When I make a new version, people gotta manually uninstall their current ones, install the new ones, and thus losing all the data the file had stored (The file has DG logs and herb run logs, so the data is lost when installing the new version). I want to know how to configure updates, so when they start up the program, it'll check for them and keep the old logs (Which are saved as .txt files).
