Wow, so compared to some people on this thread, I'm an idiot eh?! I have the top percent average in my highschool of about 1000 students...you guys must be geniuses! I'd say in Canada an "A" is from like..85%. :?: I suppose it's just to different to compare...either that, or I'm stupid! I refuse to believe the latter...so..yeah. :-s EDIT: Vov...you say 4.6GPA = 86% Average? This doesn't make sense. It sounds like different areas give different GPA's...which is completely pointless. How the heck do Colleges/Universities determine who to accept, if someone from some noname area has like a 5.0 gpa, but in reality would have marks lower than that of a 3.7 in another area?! Wth? :wall: They do, some counties have A's going down to a 90/91, which would give you a 4.0

a 94% at my school is an A(boarderline) and if you are having an unweighted gpa(APs etc don't give you the extra part) Math: 92% ->B+ Physics: 95% -> A Music: 97% -> A Computer Science: 96% -> A Business Technologies: 97% ->A English: 92% -> B+ Chemistry: 91% -> B+ those grades give you a 3.78 by my county's grading standard(which is harder than most others)

Well it does exist, but you can't really use it for anything since it's equal to one, I don't know if that makes it imaginary or what it can't be written as a fraction so I would assume that yes, it's an imaginary number

1/3 in decimals times 3 equals .9 repeating 1/3 in fractions times 3 equals 1 and if 1/3=.3 repeating then yes it does work

I use the thirds for that 1/3=.3 repeating multiply through by 3 3*(1/3=.33...) 3/3=.9 repeating 1=.9 repeating it's simpler than yours O.o

Not in my school, honors you get more work but it says honors on your transcript, so it's suppose to make you look good. AP classes give you an extra .5 gpa added to that grade, so the highest theoretical gpa you could get is a 4.5(impossible, there arn't 28 AP classes that you can take unless you somehow start out with AP Bio, Chem, Calc etc)

3.07.. the GPA I got for Freshman Sophmore and now Junior year yours isn't terrible, but it's not that good

^That's gross... Last year we did this tubing thing on the Potomic River. I got burned on my calfs, shoulders, back, face, and neck. I still have some skin that hasn't fully healed(although it's ALMOST all gone.. after 10 months)
