5 months is a good standard to go by. I don't think there is an official length of time, just try to make sure the thread is not too recent before making another one of the same topic. Anyways, glad I could help.

The last time I had "teams" was in 7th grade, and even then we still got lunch and recess together. Are you in high school? 8th grade. My school fails. I had teams in 6-8 grade and I agree that all that they do is split up friends. The middle school system really needs to be reworked in my district.... School was easy, cross country even easier. Tomorrow we have a workday on the running course we are building around our school. It should be fun.

You can post on older threads as long as it contributes to the topic. You cannot just post a short response like "that sounds cool 8-) " on a 2 year old thread. If you have something that can add further discussion, then we have no problem with you posting on existing threads. Regaurding creating new topics, just make sure you use the search function. If the thread is old, say 5 months or more, you would be safe in creating a new topic. If it is less than 5 months, you may just want to consider reviving the old one if you can bring more discussion to it.

I just got Left for Dead GOTY and Star Wars the Force Unleashed for $35 new at Amazon. The Force Unleashed was Amazon's videogame deal of the day for $10 and L4D was dropped down to $30 brand new. With ECA I saved 4 bucks and I qualified for free shipping. :thumbsup: I would of bought Dark Sector for 10 cents from amazon as well but I would have had to pay like $7 in shipping for it. Oh, and I got $10 in MP3 credits for Amazon's music department for buying 2 eligible games. :D

I can understand that the wealthy can take taxes better since they have more money to pay, but as Lent said, I don't want to be taxed out of a large portion of my income just because I make a large amount of money. I support a standard tax rate to all incomes, like a 15% income tax on the wealthy, middle class, and poor. It may be communist, but it works. It allows the poor to pay a part of the income, but not be overtaxed. It also allows the rich to pay more for their higher income, but not too much that they are shelling out 30%-35% of their earnings.

I always thought that would be cool, just find out some dude you've known frequented a forums you visited. I've actually been probably close, or at least in the same area, as some people on TIF -- like I know this summer I was close to a friend of Dizzles I think in D.C. It would be pretty cool. I'm pretty sure I was close to N_odie and Promise this summer when I visited Hawaii. I'm not sure which islands they are on, but I visited the major 3 so I was probably near them at one point.

Foreign Languages should really be taught in elementary school. I can 100% garuntee that I will forget everything I know about Spanish within a few years of leaving high school. Teaching it in high school is too ineffective.

Driving at night in the rain is a bunch of fun. -.- So many damn reflections that you can hardly see the paint on the roadway. Work was easy today. I basically slacked from 4:00-7:00. I was just doing little tasks, making them last as long as possible.

It's impossible. Just like the "This statement is a lie" or "can an omnipotent god create a boulder that he cannot lift?" sentences are.

My school requires two years of a foreign language to graduate. I'm currently in Spanish 4, and it is a dual credit course so I'm getting a community college credit for taking it in high school.
