Misconception. Chaotics do not degrade faster in multicombat. OT: Use Rapier on everything except monsters that have more of a sensitivity to a certain atk style. Degradable items rely on game ticks. If you are fighting a monster in single combat with a chaotic, it will last for 10hours worth of game ticks, just like the KB says. However, if you are in combat with multiple monsters at once, your degradable weapon is having multiple game ticks being added to it every second. Your weapon will not last as long in multicombat as it would in single combat. Try to avoid giving advice if you don't have much experience with the subject.
