  1. I went to the freezer to get a cold cup years ago and saw this plastic bag in there. Picked it up wondering what is was and held it too hard to and heard a snap of some sort. Then it all clicked - Maurice the guinea pig died a few days earlier.

  3. You're doing too many isolations. Pretty bad routine, to be totally honest with you, mate. Stick to heavy weights with compound movements. I mean, unless I'm mistaken on 'leg lifts', you're not even training your legs. :-# Nor your shoulders. :-# Or doing deadlifts. :-# Stick to: Military press - shoulders Bent over row/pull ups - back Deadlifts - hams and lower back Squats - legs Bench press - chest Dips - triceps/some chest If you really want to add arm exercises or isolations in, then by all means do so. However, you train your biceps on rowing movements such as bent over row and sticking to those movements, you're going to grow all over. Not to mention more test and growth hormone production by lifting heavy and doing squats/deadlifts. If you're not gaining doing 5x5 or 3-4x8 on that routine, three times a week Monday/Wednesday/Friday, then your diet needs a look at instead. Ah cheers. Some days I would do dead lifts and squats, but having a pretty bad knee, I need a spotter and they are always doing different things. Thanks for that.
  4. It is 'England' afterall, I think Australia are in with a 98% chance of winning as long as Symonds doesn't go out partying. Speaking of Symonds, today he got a golden duck for QLD. I doubt that he's going to be let back into the test side on this form. For his sake I hope he gets a couple of huge scores, because when he's on he's awesome to watch. He's got a fair bit of pressure on him, mainly from the media. Every game he has to try and prove himself and that makes getting runs much harder. he just needs to play his game. Hope he gets in.

  9. I've been doing the same routine for about 2, 3 months now and I reckon I should change things up so that I don't get used to it and not work as hard. Currently I do Bench, Incline , Decline Lat pull downs Bent over rows Dumbell curls Preacher curls Leg lifts I have a little idea of what to do, but thought I'd ask you blokes too - you seem to know what you're doing.

  13. Played a 35 over game today in our comp. We batted first and I went in at three and made a disgraceful 2. Got out the way I always do, caught. Terrible shot. Ball bounced up so I thought I'd pull it, but as always it hit up the top of the bat and went straight up. We absolutely rolled them. Bowled them all out for something like 30. I got 3 caught behinds and 2 stumpings and a run out if I remember correctly. Pretty good day.

    Well it is now coming into the cricket season and this is the topic to discuss all things cricket. Current Tests and ODI's. Your cricket games. Any goals? Anything really. :) Well tomorrow my club season starts for me. Only a 35 over game, so should be a pretty good game. I guess I'm hoping for a good start to the season with the regional selection trials happening next weekend. Bla bla bla. Let's get into it.
  17. Soccer? It depends on how tall you are, but keep quick reflexes and remain flexible. Probably leg muscles, build up the power for the quick bursts of power you are gonna need to quickly dive. Being a wicketkeeper in cricket, I suppose I can relate to this and I've always been told to have strength in my legs. And of course your core.
