  1. If you keep typing like that I suggest more time away from the internet. The internet may seem like everything, but that is only if you depend on it for every waking hour of your day.
  2. Hey 'Scapers. To start off with I haven't really been on Runescape much lately and it is getting a bit hard for me to get on and play...but... Are you being a Tipiter? You know like back in the good old days when everyone would just hang around in Edgeville and socialise with other Tipiters - do we still do that today? It seems that Runescape is turning into a big skillfest, with everyone training for hours on end to be the best. Do you ever just stop training and go around Runescape saying "HYT!" and meeting with your fellow Tipiters? We skill hard, then we party hard. :). I would love to see a sense of community brought back into Tipit, it seems as though it is getting a little dull here. So go out and meet some people! Head to Edgeville or even Castle Wars on world 99 or world 7 for F2Pers and meet up with some Tipiters. Have a blast and meet some new friends! :) Whaddayas reckon?
  3. It may be an addrenaline rush, but something that I would never do. Dangerous and would probably get my car taken away.
  4. To break up the seriousness of Off Topic at the moment, I decided to make a nice warm and fuzzy topic. What type of person are you- Do you like cats? Or a man's best friend, the dog? Myself, I'm a dog person. Can be your best mate and you can play games with them :). You can teach a dog so many tricks but with a cat all they do is sit around and do their own thing. :P
  5. More customers for Jagex, more money for them. The internet is growing and more younger kids are exposed to it at an earlier age then most of us. They are even teaching kids to use the internet early in primary school. Sooner or later more younger people will be playing Runescape. Most will lie about their age, but since they are allowed to be playing at <13 then I'm pretty sure most will say their correct age and will be able to chat with quick chat, and protecting them a little more.
  6. I feel ok. I love school. I get so bored over the holidays with work and work and really no time for 'holidays'. At school I see all my mates and I do less work at school then at work :)
  7. To be honest I really could not care what the rating is. All the time someone says that we should change to PG-13 or M or G-8 or something but really, what difference would it make? Would it help a few people sleep easier at night knowing that their forums follow MPAA standards or something. And I am surprised mlb that you are offended by this, considering you browse /b/.
  8. It's ok to smash glass in your girlfriends face, as long as you try to pin the blame on someone else, eh greg? http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008 ... ion=justin
  9. Uh oh, not /b/ all over again..

Sydney's Olympics were still the best :). I didn't watch the Closing Ceremony, I just thought it would drag on and on for no reason.
  11. Why buy one? Back in the day when we would muck around with them, I'd just draw one up. There's no real harm in them. Good fun for the people who believe or are interested in paranormal stuff.
  12. Wisp I remember all those threads. Paperclips was an awesome member. And Bubsa's post of deloria as a cat was perfect. Does anyone else here remember the Tipit Convention thread about us organising a boat cruise for all the OT's. Errdoth made it I think :). And the funny picture thread = /b/. And it's funny that majority of our members think it was 'epic', then we wonder why OT is apparently declining.
  13. What a terrible day...That really sucks mate. You should probably talk with the old fella and work something out with his insurance andother stuff. It just doesn't seem right.
  14. I'm about the same as you. If a post doesn't seem to interest me and has 3 pages, I wont go near it. On the other hand, if it had less than a page I'd look at it to get into the conversation. I visit every newish thread I can.
  15. I wouldn't go that far to call it a problem. It never really affected me if they posted a line that was a different colour that done it's job and caught my attention. I don't think it is worth making a new button 'Highlight' or whatever just for editing posts.
  16. Smash him. If you hurt him good enough he won't dare do anything like that again. But I guess it's too late now.

Well I suppose Australia should let Great Britain beat us in one thing...

For arguements sake, do you think that the marathon runners, triathletes etc are taunting the otehr competitors when they finish the race with their hands in the air? It is an overwhelming feeling getting a gold medal in the Olympics and it would be impossible to contain your emotions. Bolt did exactly that and he won convincingly, giving him more reason to be over the moon. As for the ping pong. I don't know whether to laugh or admire the players. I laugh at them for having such long and over the top rallies. I admire them for having long and over the top rallies.
  19. Haha bringing it back eh? : Time to go have some fun again :P
