  2. Christmas. And hopefully state championship :D
  3. Another easy win for Australia. Brett Lee grabbed 5/105. I think New Zealand batted poorly, only McCullum getting some runs. I never knew Haddin could bat that good either. He absolutely smoked them.
  4. Keep on keeping on
  5. He ages pretty well, unlike this meme. ZING
  6. Schoolies next year \ . Looking forward to it. Don't think I'll go to Gold Coast, seems like there is too many toolies and [bleep]ers there getting into fights and crap.
  7. What a stupid punishment. Poor fella.
  8. Well obviously cheaper to run cars are the smarter option. But people do need 4WD's. Large families, outback folk coming into the city to get stuff. My first car will most likely be a 4WD work ute, so that I can go offroad and camping as well as use it for work. And if people can afford the petrol, they can drive what they want
  9. My thoughts? I really couldn't care less. People can do what they want with their eyes. Without sounding gay the blue looks alright.
  10. She didn't but I did. Off-Topic died a little inside. I wish this thread would
  11. Yup, I played a block shot down the wrong line completely, swung away, pitched on leg and seamed straight across me and cliped the side of off stump, right up the top :S Seamed and swung heaps, it actually looked like it was a leg side wide. Really sucked too, because he then bowled 2 overs without bowling one on the sumps. Ah well, not my first golden so oh well. Sounds like an impossible ball to play. At least you got out on a pearler. Better than getting bowled a full toss from a spinner and missing that :P
  12. Yeh...of course you were :P
  13. Did you get bowled? There's nothing worse then facing your first ball from a quick bowler and he is spot on target. Much easier to leave it :P
  14. A mate of mine can. I've tried a few times but can only manage a few seconds. Good fun.
  15. Well I suppose we better congratulate them. It's like when your little sister beats you in an arm wrestle, give her some time in the spotlight.
  16. Well parenting can be blamed. The parents nurturing and not wanting to yell at their kids because "It's not right." The kids then grow up thinking that they can do anything and have no respect. Another reason is parents not smacking kids. I hate that. If you do something wrong, you get smacked. Not "Tommy, stealing is wrong and you should think before you do it next time. Ok? I love you precious." Just smack the kid. They'll learn. I haven't noticed it as much. Must be a city thing.
  17. Australia won. Too easy fellas. Good on Mitchell Johnson getting 5 for. I played today in a 2 week game - bat 55 overs one week field 55 next. I lost the toss and we were sent in to bat in a steaming hot day with 80%+ humidity. Disgraceful weather. Slow outfield. It wasn't a good toss to lose. I went in at about the 7th over and had to consolodate the innings. It was by far the hottest I have ever been while playing cricket and needed water every 6 overs. I batted for about 3 hours in this atrocious weather and doing all the runs with ones and twos. With 15 overs remaining and wickets in hand it was time to push the run rate. I started hitting the ball cleaner and in no time I was in the nervous 90's. The field had dried up a bit and the balls ran to the boundary for once. On 93 I did a drop and run and I ran down the middle of the to block the keeper from hitting my stumps I was running at. I turned around to check where the keeper was and as I turned around I must have planted my left foot in a divot in the pitch and snapped my knee again. (I already have a torn ACL, strap it every game). I heard that sickening clicking noise and went to the ground in pain. It was all over. Retired hurt on 93. Bloody heartbroken. One for the knee injury (might be torn medial), and two for missing out on an inevitable ton. It's a cruel game
  18. Fluke. I'll see you next Test.
  19. Yeh on the social networking sites people try to add you all the time. I normally just add them because they are friends of friends.
  20. 98. How would you feel. It was a shocking batting performance from the Aussies, but the wicket was doing a bit so look out Kiwis
  21. Student about to finish grade 11. Work in a hardware store on Saturday mornings and holidays.
  22. What's the point of having books on the inside? How are you supposed to get to them?
  23. What a loser. Really.

Considering most people here are 14-16, yeah I kind of doubt it (at best, two people will get drunk "because they brought the alcohol!" and the rest gets to watch). But hey, it's not like this thread was about organising a TIF meet at all. It seems to be a thread where people are supposed to come up with the most asinine and "hilarious" ideas for some sort of magical playparty in fairyland. Back when the thead was first started years ago people weren't trying their absolute hardest to make a funny every post and people were just throwing realistic ideas around and it was a pretty fun thread.
