First of all, to all Australians here - HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY. Keep it true blue you blokes. Now, we had our Australia Day Awards the other day and the Australian of the year was an Aboriginal by the name of Mick Dodson for his reconcilliation efforts. Now he probably deserved it even though I never heard of him, so good on him. But he pissed me off when the first thing he done was proposed to change the date of Australia Day. So he reckons we should change Australia Day. Seriously mate, it's not going to happen. You weren't even alive back then, infact, no one is alive from 1788. Do you see us descendents of convicts pissing and moaning to the Queen expecting an apology for sending our forefathers halfway across the world to jail over here? The European convicts started Australia, government and rules. How is your world crashing down? The date is not going to get changed. Loving Kevin Rudd - But Mick Dodson still thinks he is going to get our National Day's date changed. And good luck to him with that. But I know for sure that it's not going to get changed. I live with my siblings and cousins and they drive me up the wall. There are times when I want to throw them out the window, but all it takes is self-control and stuff like that won't happen. That is way different to a screaming baby.

I remember reading all these types of 'Kids answers to questions' in emails and newspapers. I don't think they are real, and someone has made them up. But yeh they were pretty funny.

At any given time I have several dozen tabs open, with at least 15 dedicated to tip.it (22 open to tip.it pages as I speak). It's called multitasking, and I can accurately and helpfully respond to a thread in under 10 seconds, as illustrated above. Unfortunately, for the 10 seconds I spend replying, I spend 50 seconds clicking 'submit' and waiting for the timer to run off. If I click too fast, it dumps me to the thread page without submitting my reply without informing me. If you feel the need to have dozens of tabs open, then the flood control is working perfectly. Yeh you can type fast and multitask Yo but the reason you are getting the flood warning is because you have 15 topics open. And unless you are typing out really decent replies after reading through the whole topic then it shouldn't be a problem. Bla bla bla, all in all, you are probably only one a few that has 15 tabs open, that is your choice and of course you won't be able to post all 15 in the space of a minute.

If 'General Awesome' is going help fight against injustices against the word awesome, won't that get a bit one dimensional after a while? I can see it being pretty funny for the first few comics but then it might become the same thing. The character himself is kinda original, but lately there seems to be an 'awesome' and 'win' fad going around. I was thinking maybe change the whole thing around to being something like 'Captain Awkward' or something. He can still fight for awesome but he can get himself into so many awkward situations. Some of the situations you can draw from real life from mates. Something you can chew on.

That's called damaged hearing. I wonder what from. Actually, i've had bad hearing since before I really started listening to much music. I've had to constantly ask people to repeat things 4 or 5 times my entire life. I can't make out whispering or anything at all either, never have been able to. Well Jesus don't listen to loud music! It's not making it any better, is it?

What's all this with having more than one forum tab running? Write up a post, post it. Click your way to your next reply, post etc. I must be all behind with my forum lurking that I only have one Tipit window going. I really don't see the need to change it. It does help with spammers, and if we make it shorter those who do spam will go crazy and we will all moan about how either there should be more mods or make posting limit 1 minute. The latter being the smartest and easiest way to deal with things.
