Dang that was fast. I thought that was a pretty unpopular game. :(
  3. In one sandwich? :? Yeah, with pepper, it's surprisingly tasty. It's interesting seeing what some of you consume. I wouldn't touch half the stuff you guys mention.

    Ooo I got one. :D
  5. It pisses me off when I record something on the DVR and it doesn't air - baseball or news or comedy stand up replace it. Some of my least favorite things on tv... Needless to say, I start seeing red. PS: Isn't "needless to say" such a weird phrase?

  10. I'm just going off of what you guys established in this thread: Of course, and I agree, but our opinions don't matter. It comes down to the opinions of the terrorists - the same people who want us dead for no apparent reason. I just think the more we stick our noses into things, the more of a reason (although I acknowledge they are no real reasons at all) they have to hate us more. Well, that was mainly inspired by Bluelancer's posts. Like I said, I'm just going by what you guys said. You guys are more knowledgeable in this field than I am, but I still wanna give my two cents since that's what I do. :
  11. Well, for one, we've already made it clear on this forum why he is doing this. You really think the terrorists you speak of are going to give him the benefit of the doubt and think his "appreciation for the religion" is legitimate? They are probably already one step ahead of us. Yeah, he might be appeasing the general Islamic population, but remember who we're talking about here. Terrorists aren't going to care about you pretending to appreciate their religion. At the most, it will just offend them more. Keep in mind that America really hasn't done anything to them at all, yet there is a strong and prevalent mentality amongst the terrorists that we need to be killed - trying to deceive them adds to the list. I'm not arguing that he's a bad president. A Runescape scammer who can make 50 million a day scamming people is very proficient at what he does. He is a good scammer. But that is completely irrelevant to whether I should give them my respect or if I shouldn't dislike them. I can agree with everything he does politically (although I do not, but that's besides the point), but still disagree with it on a more personal level. Politicians are great at what they do. Deceiving people and telling them how they're gonna fix up the world, in order to secure votes. That doesn't mean I can't hate politicians and politics in general though. I guess a better way of looking at this would be, "Don't hate the player. Hate the game."
  12. The bandwagon last year was to love pirates. Now the bandwagon this year is to make fun of those people. Just like how everyone uses the word strawman and now everyone complains when people use it. TIF is funny.
  13. It's not like he was forced into being a politician though. He knew it was a game of deceit when he signed up for it. I'm not gonna cut him any slack just because that's what his job requires. I'm still gonna be a critical rebellious teenager. After all, I'm only doing what my position dictates I should do.
  14. I make simple things into complicated things. I am very impatient with people, but I do my best not to show it - and I also let the smallest things anger me, which sort of ties in with that one. I am either overly confident or not confident enough. Never a good balance of both. Ha, describes me perfectly. It's not that I'm lazy. It's just that it honestly makes very little difference to me what my life conditions are.
  15. Because the ingratiation in question is fueled by deceit, as you've said yourself. Now telling someone their butt doesn't look big is one thing, but praising a particular religion for the sole purpose of making the public think you're a good president is a little different, don't you think?
  16. My World History teacher for sure. He was a huge redneck dude with a really strong accent, and he was the most honest and down to earth teacher I ever had. He didn't really teach about the subject, but he taught us about real life things - you know, stuff that we're not gonna forget after the class is over like most other teachers. All his lessons stayed with me. The kids in there were a joke - no one cared about their grades but yet somehow he still reached them when it came to life lessons and stuff like that. He's my real definition of a teacher.
  17. A lot of PS1 games were ghastly too. Seems like there was a PS1 game for everything, no matter how stupid of an idea it was.
  18. Well said. Didn't we just have a topic about this? That year flew by. :|
  19. Something interesting I realized were the names Seymour's transformations had. Natus = Arisen (He is still "alive" and kicking after you killed him.) Flux = Flow of energy (Killed all the Ronso and possibly took their souls, which are now flowing through him.) Omnis = All persons (He's in Sin, who has tons of souls inside. Self-explanatory.) I got everyone's Ultimate Weapons except for Wakka's. I just need to get his stupid Sigil which takes forever. :? After that I still need to get everyone's overdrives and then max out their Sphere Grids with a little help from the Monster Arena.

  21. I think both wings have their merits. I don't want to live in a purely capitalistic nor communistic/socialistic country, but more in between both. It's just that there are so many people who accuse Obama of being a socialist as if it's an insult, synonymous to being a nazi. Even if he was socialist I don't see the big deal. Yeah good point. I'm already tired of what they do with their laws and spending - if they owned the economy that would just be another thing I'd have to worry about them messing up.
