I love how TIF went to a haven of decent debating to "OMG ur point trash dood!" At least give me some reasons, but otherwise the only thing you are telling me is that you disagree, which is pretty worthless to say by its lonesome. But then again, I'm not too sure I want to hear the arguments of a dog worshiper. JK :P

President Obama wins the Nobel Peace Prize
I see what you mean Mage, but there's more important things than that. The reason Obama is seen a lot differently than the other presidents is because he's a lot of talk. I felt fairly confident in him as a leader because of his speeches, but I was let down because, honestly, I really don't see any change. Hope and peace isn't the only thing America needs - that's just one slice off the giant spectrum. Obama needs to start thinking bigger. Comforting the unemployed isn't enough. And OT, I definitely don't think he deserved the award... although I am not surprised about this.

You're obviously missing some pretty vital points then. The government has business in some aspects of society, but personal safety - which is their intentions for making seat belts and helmets mandatory - is the business of the individual. That's like making it illegal to eat to many hamburgers. I pity a person who cannot see the beauty of exercising their own rights and freedoms. I'm not saying that people shouldn't wear seat belts. Hell, I even wear mine. I just think it's ridiculous to force it upon someone. It's your body and your property. And in the case of human projectiles, that is a rare exception, much like what you made of my arguments about being trapped in a car. Personally I've never seen or heard about someone killing another person because they didn't wear a seat belt, so I highly doubt it's a common occurrence.

should runescape be so random?
My favorite aspect of RPG's is that there is usually a strong link between how much work you put into your character and how well your character can perform or use certain abilities. There are some places where RS fails at this. Thieving and Mining for example. No matter what your level is, it barely makes a difference. RS is too random for me.
-
What is it you need most in Runescape?
Well said. That's the same exact thing I went through. Now I'd much rather play console games which are more fun and less repetitive than RS. It takes like 10 hours for a Mining level. I can beat some games the whole way through in 10 hours!

20,000,000 bow and staff?
Why should price have anything to do with a weapon being good or not? Actually, it should be a positive thing that MSB is so easy to obtain and yet effective.

People have died from seat belts. It isn't as rare as you think. Getting out of a submerged or burning car is hard enough as it is. Forcing you to wear a seat belt causes you to be in more danger in those situations. Besides, I've heard of those occurrences way more than I've ever heard of a human projectile killing other people. It's funny how you complained about when I debate on OT, but now it almost seems like you're following me around just to argue with me. And what's "even you" supposed to mean?

I never said they did. If a car has furniture in it, there are no rules against projectiles or whatever though, even if it is sharper, harder, and larger than a person. A cop will not give you a ticket if you have metal pole projectiles in your car. Doesn't that point to the true intentions behind these laws?

Do you prefer Summer or Winter?
During my school years, I liked summer the best. I hated walking through the cold and standing outside during winter, and I loved summer vacation. Now that I'm out of school, I think I'll like winter better because of the holidays and I get to stay indoors most of the time. My birthday is also right around Christmas time too, so that's another plus.

Yeah, you're right that most items in a car are smaller than a body, but what about a vehicle loaded with metal furniture? Those are far more deadly of a projectile than a body and yet there is nothing illegal about it. I really doubt that the reason the law exists is because of projectiles or else something would probably be done about transporting heavy loads. And also, like you said about motorcycles, you aren't likely to hurt another person - you are way more likely to hurt yourself. That should be enough to point out their intentions behind these laws. If you don't care about the well-being of your own body, then you are obligated to pay a government fine. What's next? Making it illegal to eat too many hamburgers? PS: I guess I should have made this topic more general. I was trying to get at the "Either take care of your body or pay me" attitude.

I've never heard of a body project and hit somebody else in car accidents, but it does sound likely. Still, I doubt that is the reason these laws exist. I think it's in the same vein as making it mandatory to have motorcyclists wear a helmet (in fact, wearing a helmet would make you an even deadlier projectile) and having suicide be illegal. These laws most likely exist because it is "for your own good", which is the main point I was trying to get at. There shouldn't be laws forcing you to live. I don't condone suicide or anything but to add to my point, you did not choose to be born, so you shouldn't be legally obligated to pay other people if you are not willing to stay alive. It just sounds like a fishy way of making money to me. And also, projectiles aren't only limited to bodies. Anything that isn't fastened to the car could be a projectile - groceries, furniture, tools, toys, etc. I mean, imagine a pineapple shooting through the windshield. I don't think you can get a ticket for that though.

What did you have for lunch today?
I have a Southwest Style Grilled Chicken TV Dinner in the oven right now. It looks so hearty and delicious on the box and then I opened it up... barely any chicken. -.-

In the state of Florida, you can get a ticket if you do not wear your seat belt. If you don't want to take safety measures I think that should be your business - not the government's. Seat belts might be able to save lives but they have also been known to be the cause of some traffic deaths. For example, if your car is submerged in water or on fire, you need to escape the car ASAP. Sometimes wearing a seat belt will just get in the way. Not only that, but defective seat belts can cause major injuries even in normal accidents. Even if seat belts were risk free, I still think it should come down to the individual's choice instead of the state's. Thoughts? Opinions? Tangents? Here's a good link.

What Music Do You Sleep To?
I have trouble falling asleep with music on since it distracts me, unless I'm really really tired. I remember falling asleep with Slayer on though. Then I got the song stuck in my head and loved it ever since.

Paranormal Activity
Ha yeah, that's the same reason I could never get through a Resident Evil game. Scary movies don't bother me that much but when I'm controlling a character in a video game it definitely intensifies the experience. As for the movie, it does look pretty cheesy in my book. And the theatrical audience didn't help.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Portal was cool, except for that annoying robotic voice. It's nice to see people try something different with games. I think most games on the market today are just ripoffs of better games.
