I had Chinese today. Too bad my appetite was really small today or else I'd have a lot more. That egg roll was delicious.

I tried out Gears of War 2. Cool monsters and areas, but the movement is way too damn clunky (is that the right word?). It feels like I'm trying to control a Terran from Starcraft. It really sucked when I was trying to jump into a train while deadly hail was pouring on me, and instead my character takes cover and dies. <_<

Yeah but Florida rain is so weird and unpredictable. In all of the other states I've been to you pretty much knew if it was raining or not that day. But here it can be bright, blue, and sunny during the morning and then start pouring before it even gets to noon. One time I swear it was raining even though there weren't any clouds in the sky.

That can be nice too, so long as you have the ability to change into some dry clothes when you don't feel like being wet anymore. In most Florida schools, the campus consists of numerous buildings, meaning you have to go outside in order to get to your next class. I hate being stuck in soaked clothing the entire day. Sometimes it feels like I have mushrooms growing on me. Aside from that, it only really rains when it's warm here, so that's a plus.

^^ That sounds like fun. I don't know why, but I really like the feeling of being indoors while it's raining. Today I'm getting over my sickness. I think I had the flu. Vomiting, Daria, headache, runny nose, fatigue, dehydration.... Pretty much all the symptoms.

This thread made me realize that all foods look nasty close-up. Even something as delicious as a hamburger.

Even though it's utterly pointless and nerdy, I still think it's pretty impressive.

Trust is vital in a relationship. If the foundation of the relationship collapsed under my feet, I'm gonna fall. The entire relationship would change, so my feelings for her would too. I've found out that she was hiding something important from me. What else could she be hiding? I don't want a wife who keeps secrets like that from me. Perhaps we would be able to work things out in the future, but at that moment I would not want to marry her until she proved herself trustworthy again.

Yeah you pretty much have to beat them in skill. Yeah, I'm pretty good on the battle field, but when it comes to giving them abilities and jobs I always seem to mess up.

I agree, but it would be a step in the right direction. It's better than what our current system runs by. As for the gateway argument, I just find that ridiculous. If someone goes onto harder drugs, it is their fault - not marijuana's. There are plenty of people who smoke marijuana who wouldn't dare touch stuff like heroin and coke. It's also quite funny how nothing else in the world gets the same rap as pot when it comes to gateways. I assure you, there are lots of legal things that correlate with bad things (a prescription is a gateway to becoming a pillhead, rap music is a gateway to joining gangs, television is a gateway to heart disease, sports are a gateway to steroids), yet the only time the gateway argument is used is when talking about weed. The person who invented that theory was just looking for a way to desperately turn the drug into a scapegoat.

Stuff like that should be known early on in the relationship. Like the other posters said, I wouldn't be able to trust her anymore so the answer is no.

Wow, that's pathetic. Not that gore really effects game play, but just because one person gets stomach upset about this doesn't mean they should change it for everyone. Just don't play the game if gore bothers you so much. It's a freaking zombie game. I never knew Aussie was a dictatorship lol.

In the last thread I said it was my girlfriend dying, but it would be dull to say the same thing again - so my second worst scenario would probably be going blind. I would cope with it by becoming a better musician and sharpening my other senses. After all, I'd have so much free time on my hands (not to mention I couldn't use TIF anymore). I'd pretty much be limited to sitting on my bed all day, so what better way to spend my time than making music?

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it makes me feel proud or embarrassed, but either way there are times when it feels like I'm reading a different person's thoughts even though they were my own at one point.

It's called an analogy. You said that the line-crossing exists in my head. Well duh, there is no such thing as an objective line-crossing. It's my opinion that they crossed the line, just like it is someone's opinion that murder is wrong. I don't understand why you felt the need to point that out. Pointing at my posts and calling them opinions does nothing to further your argument. You're just stating the obvious. Exactly, which makes it the perfect analogy. If I can bring up a line-crossing that you agree with, then you'll have an easier time seeing where I'm coming from. And all of those reasons are subjective. I never said opinions can't be wrong. Yeah and it's also your opinion that saying "OMG JAGEX IS DEVIL! THEY HATE THEIR PLAYERS!" is a warranted response to Jagex doing what they had to do. Your opinions suck. And you're also making it more enjoyable for the people who didn't like that part of the game. See? It's a two-way street. I shouldn't have to point out that RS is an online game with many different players who have many different interests. It's self-centered to expect Jagex to cater to your every need, even when that means they'll be making tons of other players upset in the process. PKers need to realize the world does not revolve around them. And in the case of bringing back RWTers, they would eventually cause every player that enjoys RS upset. What argument did I ignore? You also have to take into account that Jagex doesn't have as much money to dish out as Blizzard does when it comes to suing and whatnot. It's quite a convenient assumption to believe that the RWT wasn't going to ruin RS. You're making the claim that Jagex is lying to us, but do you have any proof? Also, you said Jagex dealt with RWT poorly. Then tell me, what way would you deal with it that's so much better? PS: You did not answer my question. Here it is again: So I ask you, why do you think Jagex deserves to be slandered just because they don't want their game to get overrun and ruined by RWTers?

Jagex wrote a whole article about it and explained how in detail. I believe it was in their Development Diaries, but I could be wrong. It's funny how everyone always points their finger at the victims when it comes to luring and scamming, in order to try and take the weight off the people who are actually doing something wrong.

RWT was detrimental enough to the game and company that it could potentially ruin RS completely. Not only that, but it's not the spirit of the game. The RWT updates killed multiple birds with one stone - including putting a halt to scamming, luring, etc. Either they could please the PKers and merchants, or they could please everyone who wanted RS to exist. Personally, I think they definitely made the right choice. They've even tried making it up to PKers by formulating multiple PVP alternatives, but sadly, unless people get their original wildy back, the complaints will keep rolling it. It's surprising how many people want RS dead.
