  1. One thing I will say about Zaros is that all information we "knew" prior to Fate of the Gods was secondhand knowledge, at best (see: Azzanadra), which would have his own personal bias thrown into the situation. He's supposed to have been gone for around 4 ages, which means that the only people who had firsthand knowledge would have been corrupted over time. The rest was either speculation or just plain fiction. Anything from Jagex's mouth would have been artistic musings, not necessarily promises.
  2. Kinda wish there was some sort of "Undo" option, especially with quests that will sort-of-change our future. I mean, it's not like its actually changing anything for you to go back and change who did what or how you acted. My guess to how it'd work is by forcing you to replay the entire quest, just without any xp gain from anything like the portcullis or rewards.
  3. My playing habits have kinda been the same. Though, my free time has kinda fluctuated and my habits mirror that fluctuation.
  4. Directly west of Faldor's western wall agility shortcut, on the south wall of the Witch's House (of the quest of the same name) Coordianates 6 degrees, 5 minutes north 14 degrees, 24 east
  5. Another new location is directly south of Otto's hut above the Baxtorian Waterfalll. Longitude 10 degrees, 5 minutes north Latitude 2 degrees, 0 minutes east
  6. Location is north of the gate to the Digsite area on top of a hill. Longitude 6 degrees, 43 minutes north Latitude 27 degrees, 15 minutes east
  7. Prior to the release of gravestones, I would avoid death at almost any cost. Now, I use death as a free teleport to get over to Camelot... \
  8. I have a few useful things to add to the "Tips and Info" section. For those who have completed the Lumbridge Achievement Diary and possess the Explorer's ring 2, you can bring it along to use the 30 free low alchemy spell castings on what you would normally classify as "junk" and receive a few coins for your trouble. If you have Explorer's ring 3 will also offer a free teleport (not exactly a 1 click) out of your dungeon or wherever you are.
  9. Here is my Wall Of Shame (well, it's not a wall, it's a post...) Most are just repeated way too much, others are just stupid If any of yours are used here, you should feel deep, deep shame. If any of yours are duplicates/mods of these here (except those noted in my last post), you should feel even deeper shame, you unoriginal [hide]bastards[/hide] Some small corrections made [hide] [/hide] [hide] [/hide] [hide] [/hide] Just in case you're wondering (and didn't read my last post all the way through), I'm doing this cause I've got a writing portfolio to turn in for my expository writing class, and I really don't want to do it right now...
  10. None of these are my own (and i'm not bothering to say who said what), I'm just picking out the best ones and in no particular order No Spoilers, I just hid some of them to lessen the length of my message. Some minor changes made and names replaced with [hide] [/hide] [hide] [/hide] [hide] [/hide] [hide] [/hide] [hide] [/hide] [hide] [/hide] [hide] [/hide] Yes, I know these are mine, but I think they're all still great (no generic/overused ones, except for one, but that's an actual quote...) If you've read my previous post, you can skip these, but there is one new one at the very beginning [hide] [/hide] Just in case you're wondering, I'm doing this cause I've got a writing portfolio to turn in for my expository writing class, and I really don't want to do it right now...

  12. I feel the same way #-o Well, I guess people don't care about others that much online :shame: Well, one day I'll find someone that I can trust  the only friends I trust are my high school friends. I don't feel anyone I meet randomly in the game i can ever really trust without knowing them in real life. Of course, if they do end up scamming me, I can always give them what they deserve in real life instead... and they know not to mess with me, otherwise... actually, I probably shouldn't say, in case they are reading this... the only time i, myself, have ever been scammed was, after the great brain robbery came out, and anchors only cost 70k-ish to repair but drop 230k when u get pk'd, my friend said he'd kill me and give me the 230k. well, after he killed me, he claimed he'd accidentally teleported out too quick and it was still on the ground. I quick tele'd to edgeville and waited at the exact spot for several minutes and lo-and-behold, it wasn't there :ohnoes: This was a former clansman that i felt had grown to be quite as close as two people who've never met face to face could actually become  speaking of which, i just got a PM from a friend i know irl (i don't know him that well) that's asking me for money... :|
  13. I pretended to scam a friend, and this comes with a story. We were funning at the duel arena. He's a little higher level than i was/am and I decided to put up my dragon square, while he, feeling confident, put up his santa hat. Well, I decided, near the end of the duel, I preferred to live/win and ate (which seems to be a grave offense at the duel arena ) and I ended up killing him. We're in the same computer lab (we're both in high school, thought I'd pretend to be a little less mature and have some fun) and almost immediately logged out. One of our friends in the lab (free player mod) starts laughing his head off; I look over at him and he's got this blank, scared face on, when I say "I'm just kidding..." and log back on to give it back to him. It's not his Santa, a friend of his lent it to him when he quit, on the condition that friend 1 would give it back if #2 ever started again. If it was #1's, he might not have cared as much, and I might have a santa today... :wall: also, around school, i've made several jokes about scamming to my mod friend, just to see his reactions, lol never anything real, though
  14. Have you yet made the change in your guide that there is an infinite stock for shops now? and also, with the infinite stock, you can get a discount while wearing karamja gloves (and a free teleport to shiloh village with karamja gloves 3)?
  15. i don't think merchants will go extinct, just go onto the threatened or endangered species list people may still merchant certain items, people may not like the prices that people want for a certain item, and want to haggle down the price, so world 2, i'm betting, will still be pretty crowded
  16. Elegant clothing Vampire Dust Vyrewatch clothing Chicken Suit (Easter 2007) Reindeer Hat (Christmas 2006)--All other Holiday items look cooler, but these ones were kinda lame... Regular/Magic Staffs (No/Black top) Tiles Background sounds/music I see ashes on this list a lot, but, in fact, they are incredibly useful for higher lvl herblorists that want to save their limpwurts for super str, and not toss their tarromins
  17. That would be the Kalphite Queen, who drops 20 noted
  18. One of my personal favorite ways to get vials is crafting them myself. I don't mean taking seaweed back and forth between the bank and a furnace, though. I mean using Superglass Make (Lunar) spell. As stated on the Tip.it guide to Lunar Magicks, "Instantly turns every pair of Bucket of Sand and Soda Ash(or seaweed) in your inventory into about 1.3 times as many Molten Glass**, without needing a furnace. Only one set of runes is used for the whole inventory. (Also gives 10 crafting experience per sand/ash used)." Requires 77 magic, or 74 with a Magic Essence potion, along with 2 Astral, 6 Fire, and 10 Air Runes, gives 78 magic XP per casting. I got lucky, though. I found somebody dropped a couple hundred seaweed noted in a bank. I waited until i could cast Superglass Make and now have about 300 vials in my bank now. Also gives 10 xp per vial crafted (half of what it gives for taking it to a normal furnace, but 1.3 times** as many vials) ** Note This amount is only an average
  19. If you are willing to go and kill them, you can get (up to) 27 free limwurt roots for each trip for only (up to) 27 Hill Giant kills. I say up to because you are going to need a brass key to get in and out quick, otherwise you would have to navigate your way through the edgveville dungeon to get to them, which takes longer. Why I say only (up to) 27 kills: 1)You may get a limp with your own kills, so that shaves 1 off 2)Pick up the big bones! when you have a full inventory, world hop to a free world, go to the middle of the dungeon, and say "Trading big bones for limps!" People will trade you, just not immediately or very quickly, as they might not have many limps, but, if you don't find anyone willing to trade, just hop to a different free world. It may not be very fast, but you can get them pretty much for free. *Subject to limits and conditions. Only available to people with Runescape ® accounts. Runescape is a trademark of Jagex. Limit 27 per person per transaction, unless you are stupid and plan on wasting a charge on your Amulet of Glory, then limit 28 limpwurts per transaction. If you can read this, you probably don't need glasses.
  20. what exactly do you mean? that if you are running and your cat reaches the edge of your minimap, that it will appear right behind you? did you know that... no matter if your cat is the most valuable thing in your inventory, you will always lose it if you die also... you can make your own fish food by getting a box from the guy you buy the tiny net from and combine it with ground guam and ground kelp (rfd pirate pete subquest to get to the kelp) did you know that... one way to get to the Gnome Stronghold without the spirit trees or having to walk all the way from Ardy is to use a Games Necklace Teleport to Barbarian Outpost, and take a shortcut behind the Grand Tree One more thing... Even if you're defense or attack has been lowered, you can still equip items that require a higher lvl? (eg.- Equip dragon stuff at 45/60 atk or def) OK, i lied. Another thing... You can get extra molten glass (and, i believe more experience) if you cast the Lunar Spell "Super Glass Make" When will it stop... :wall: You can access the bank at Lunar Isle without a Seal by talking to the furthest east banker (From the pirate ship, unsure of his name. You can tell it's him because of the parrot on his shoulder, lol.) OK, i'm done after this one... One easy way to get to the green dragons north of the forgotten cemetary (and also to those pesky green dragon autoers...) is to use an Edgeville teleport and then take the canoe to the wilderness point and walk a little further south-by-southeast (and you also avoid the RC pkers or any other pkers that may be close to the ditch of stupidity)
  21. I have gotten the unid'd snapdragon from randoms (i cant remember which, unfortunately...
  22. One thing i forgot about in my first post: this may take a while, but a free source of wfv's AND herbs (water runes and asst. junk) would be water elementals, underneath Seers' Village, elemental workshop pt 1 req. they drop a fair amount of herbs (not sure of stats atm), and drop 1 wfv per kill. this does require time/effort, but NOT MONEY!!! (but then again, time=money...) after a while, if you have the secondarys in the bank, you can sell them in Seers' bank I am very bored today, if you can't tell from how many times i have posted and edited already this morning...
  23. random observation: from killing A.S., i have found that the best herbs seem to come not from single drops nor from triple drops, rather, from double herb drops. :!:
  24. here is a pic of my inventory for slaying aberrant specters. i have a Kharryl (sp?) tele portal in my house for banking in canfis. i have also arranged my food from lowest healing to highest. this was all misc. food i had needed to clear from my bank. the reason i arranged it this way is so you use the lowest food first, which is used up quicker to make more spaces faster for more herbs, but also keep higher food to last longer. this method does not require prayer pots, but you can use prayer my way for a short time because i can recharge when i use my house tele. i use my fury instead of a salve ammy (e) because of the higher mage def. but for those who cannot use black d'hide, go with the proselyte and prayer pots as suggested earlier. edit: I took this pic before i went and killed the A.S., and afterwards, found that i only used 1 of the combat potions i brought. i am going for a second round, and am bringing only 1 and a different assortment of food first trip's loot: no guam/marrentil (i tossed) 4 tarromin 2 harralander 3 ranarr 1 irit 2 kwarum 1 toadflax seed 2 kwarum seeds  2 uncut rubies 1 mithril kiteshield 1 adamant platelegs 1 rune full helm 0 unids (5 places used for my 2 remaining potions and 3 tele runes) edit: If you are doing these as a task, i suggest that you use combat bracelets instead of barrows gloves, so you arent constantly wondering how many more you have left until your assignment finishes, making you crazy, wishing you could make a bank trip so you could go back and get your braces so that you could know... :wall:
