Glad you find my thread interesting! :D I bet you didn't know: If you just tap Ctrl, then you will run, and carry on running until you run out of energy or stop clicking to move. Yet if you press run, you will run, and if you unpress it while running, you will stop running and start walking instantly. Also: If you use Ctrl to run, the Run energy button will not be highlighted red, but if you press it manually, it will be. Also: By draynor manor, many of us will have had the unpleasent experience of a tree attacking us. If you right-click on such a tree, it will be written in yellow, as if it was a monster, but does not appear as a yellow dot on the map.

Although (you can see by my stats) I used to be a member, I have become f2p again. I am not planning on becoming a member again, so don't tell me to lol. To be honest, although I am skilling and trying - failing- to merchant, I am bored. I have: The wrong levels for pking lol. I am as non-pk as you can get really. Completed Stronghold of Security Got skull sceptre and 9 skull sceptre pieces. I have done all the quests. I have done everything else I can think of. Any suggesions of what I can do (other than join members) ?

I would say that, obviously most people (including me lol) can't be bothered to do all that, because it takes alot of time. Also, by the time you were 99 cooking you would be easily 99 fishing.

I would say runecrafting or slayer. Runecrafting solo may just tip it though.

I suppose, but if you think about it, by then they will have to get 4x the amount of needed for 99, and if you check, quite a few of the 2277s, just got their skills to 99, and haven't got them that much xp more than that.

I had done all the quests except for dragon slayer, and there looked like endless amounts of things to do on members. It turns out I was right lol, so now I'm f2p again.

Having seen most of these posts, it seems that making getting lvls harder (maybe by making up to lvl 115) would be the best way to limit those maxers.

The point is, that unlike blue party hats, which were originally given away for free, rangers boots and robin hats have to be worked for, and you have to kill lots of high level creatures to be allowed to be able to start working hard to get them.

I agree with bbalking, there's gonna be a substancial gap, and then another item released.

I always loved ranging. When I started, I didn't really know what pking was, and didn't like the wilderness, so was surprised when everyone came up to me (lvl 50-something in full black dhide) and said, are you a pker? lol Good times, good times. :D
