    Forgive and Forget?

A case of keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
  2. They say when you meet the love of your life, time stops. And that's true. What they don't tell you, is that once time starts again, it moves extra fast to catch up.
  3. You mean like, those moments where you can "feel the magic"? Like a gorgeous sunset or something? Zammo! Definately this, amongst others.
  4. Notice how there's no "yes" answer here? :-s
  5. B is for back, and the other two rhyme.
  6. You won't get a sit up by doing one bunch of 40 sits. You need to do repetitions. Start off with 5x 10 sit ups. I do 5x10 press ups, 5x10 wide arm wide leg presses and 10x10 crunches every morning and night before/after bed. Like you, I can't afford a gym membership, but there's so much stuff you can use to re-create the environment. Just make sure everything is safe and secure, that's imperative. The biggest advantage of going to a gym other than working out in home is the safety aspect.
  7. Jose Mourinho has put all his players on viagra. Because no matter how hard they try, they can't get past a semi! *dun dum tish!*
  8. Paypal always addresses you by your name, not your email.
  9. Just thought I'd add this relevant tidbit from the Fate vs Chaos thread:
  10. It may seem a contradiction to my magic thread, but I don't believe in fate. I also don't try to explain the meaning of life and stuff with theories. It's pointless, we'll never know. I just appreciate life for all that it brings, and I just so happen to believe it brings magic. But I believe that life will bring you these things on your own accord. Every person, in my belief, has the power to choose their fate and destiny. But only some will take the chance and power and do so. Others, the Hamlets of this world, will be driven by fate created around them. Remember what Snake said to Psycho Mantis: That's what I believe. I believe in no pre-determined fate, but life's journey to be as brilliant as you allow it.
  11. D'oh, I think people are taking my definition of magic too much inot magic tricks and hokus pokus. I don't mean that. What I mean is...well...what I'm relating to is Big Fish. Watch Big Fish! That's the magic I mean. Not so much the giant or the siamese twins being magic, but the magic of the story and how it actually comes true to life (in the film).
  12. Me. I'm kinda ashamed of mine, you see. I would have preferred it to be special and romantic, but hey, can't change it now.
  13. Chelsea? English football team? Haha, that's a good one. I support these merry men: Liverpool Football Club.
  14. I've always liked Sierra ever since USM 98 :) Now I have more reason too!
  15. That's just cheesy. Not even Saved by the Bell cheesy. It's a whole new level of cheese.
  16. Sounds like almost as big a gimmick as those ones back in the 80's where you could pump up the air bubble using the tongue. Heh, that reminded me, I always wanted a pair of trainers which flashed at the bubble heel. God, they opitomised 9 year old coolness!
  17. Thanks for the comments guys, it's really interesting to see how people think. I'm glad we're all respecting everyone's beliefs here. I agree with Pete that I can't let it cloud my judgement. I won't see something and immediately think "z0mg magic!", but then again, it won't always be using it as a last resort to explain the unexplicable. I love Mad's comment about literature etc. can be magical. I whole heartedly agree. It's the creativity of the people which writes it, and the wondrous element in the way it can unite all kinds of different people.
  18. I'm pretty sure no-one played in the year 1999. I see these kind of threads all to often. What are you trying to prove? You're better or something because you started earlier? What should it matter if you're old school or not, surely it's the player that makes the game, not the year. *Waits for a "obviously you didn't play back then, noob" reply*
  19. Hello! Make yourself at home here! Which means, get to your underpants and pig out on skittles
  20. Blast, what the devil is cool lingo nowadays? Um...what up, cuz? :-s
  21. *Waits for a tip.iter to make an inuendo in massaging Kayla's back for her, to get in her good books* :-w
  22. Do you? What I mean by magic is something extraordinary, that cannot be explained. In that case, you can argue there are plenty of magical things, the creation of life (religious or Big Bang) and the universe perhaps, but enough of that. But do you ever think to yourself; there's more to life than what are senses would have us believe? Do miracles really occur? Are their 'invisible forces' working all around us? I'm not a religious man, nor an educated man, for that matter, but I believe. I can't explain it, or understand it, but I don't want to. I accept these beautiful things for what they are, for the way they make like so precious. On a star-filled, moonlit night, I'll wish upon a star. I know, it can be said I'm wishing to OB-75376, a gassy ball of fire burning billions of lightyears away in the Orion constillation, but I'll still do it. Why? Because somewhere I hope, no I believe, my wish will be heard. Is that a case for religious creation? I don't know. People are the most magical things of all. The special people who have the ability to know what you're thinking, can always make you happy, whether a God-given gift or what have you, there's something magical about that. So, am I the only hopeless romantic here, or can some of you relate to my incoherent rambling? Either way, as it makes me feel fuzzy inside, I won't stop believing. (:
  23. I do not envy the person who finally breaks to her that all the protesting in the world won't bring her son back. She has the right to protest and I'm happy that she's a do-er, not a thinker. But buying land next to his ranch? That's just spiteful and benefits no-one.
  24. Probably the drive back up from Newquay. Hungover, hadn't slept for 30 hours, massive tailback from Birmingham. Not all the pro-plus in the world could have helped me that day, I felt so rought. In fact, praise Vishnu that I didn't get hurt. Although, even that day was good, because I found the "Loo of the year" (For 2 years running!) in a service station on the way. And I must say, it was fancy.
