On my recent trip to Newquay, my friends and I re-created a Top Gear challenge. I had to drive down to Newquay in a Suzuki Gran Vitara, while some of my friends had to use public transport. They got a a train to Liverpool, a bus to John Lennon Airport and flew to Newquay. I won! :D Do you know why? Newquay train station were on a strike all weekend. My mates were stranded for nearly the entire day! :XD:

That would take me 20 minutes. Half an hour tops. FACT.

Not unreasonable at all. In fact, I'd say it's quite mature. You can see your father's wishes and, despite them contradicting your own, you respect them and protect your own.
