  1. I wouldn't call the Wirral Globe any better. Probably the reason my story was published was that it completed a paper. Sometimes, if there's nothing to fill, you just don't get a paper for a couple of weeks. (By the way, I live in the town next to Hoylake, Scene of next year's British Open Golf. If you're interested :P)
  2. You know, you're the kind of people who make my breath smell after a meal and consequently revolt women
  3. LMAO DragonFirenze!! That's one brilliant story! :P I might try it this year (exnay the drop kicking)
  4. Gutted mate. Now you can't go in teen chatrooms anymore :(
  5. That's a great job m0ther, very admirable to do such a thing. Keep it up ;) I don't have a summer job, I get EMA :D Then I get bursaries at Uni (in a year) :D And from time to time I'll sell on eBay and make a ton or two.
  6. Well, I was in the local regional paper for raising ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã470 for CR this year. For every skittle I ate, 1 by 1, my sponsors would pay 1p. I got 100 sponsors and ate 470 skittles in 20 minutes. My aunt-in-law read it in the paper, rang me up...and the rest is history I guess. :) Thanks so much for the support guys, it means a great deal. I wish you were all comin' with me! :P Hope you all get to have the chance one day too, you're pretty much the swellest bunch of people I know. More missionaries like you lot is what's gonna save lives.
  7. Hey! Well, some of you might recall that I visited Africa not too long ago. I posted about it HERE Well I've been given the oppurtunity, which I'm eternally grateful for, to go back. It's practically cost me all of my savings, so I guess my Toyota Aygo is on hold :) (Again) Some of the scenes I saw last time were simply horrific. To be honest, I don't think much would have changed since I was last there. However, this time, I'll be able to see some of the plans made possible with Comic Relief and the G8 summit. Some of the C.R money is just about starting to get through. I'll be travelling to Mozambique, where I'll actually be able to sit in a meeting or two on how the money is getting spent. I'll also be doing stuff I did last time, helping with housing etc. This time, I might be able to introduce myself in one of the schools there. God I just can't wait for that. :) I guess the point of the trip, and this post actually, is enlightenment. I knew the extent of some of the places in Africa before, but actually experiencing it first hand was a real eye opener. It hit me, bloody hard, that there are people dying all around you through needless poverty. I can't explain how much I take for granted life here, which I sometimes moan about being crap, as some of you might have been unfortunate to experience. It's nothing like it is there, no where near close. To put it one horrible way, it's hell. But the people there are the most incredible you'll ever meet. It's amazing to see the resolve of them, smiling through the troubles. My Aunt-in-law was telling me (the one giving me this oppurtunity) about a woman I was helping last time. She died of AIDS last week. She seemed so happy it was unbelievable. The point I'm trying to make (trust me, I think there's one) is that if I can share my experience with you and it helps you take the tinyiest bit more care and involvement in Africa, so be it. I also hope I'll have a few nice stories to tell when I return. I leave in 7 days for 1 week. These are real people, like you and me. It's our duty to try and do something to help them, no matter how little like my contribution. I hope to go there and find that Comic Relief and the proposed G8 agreements go towards a better life for this continent and its people. If my post has any effect towards anyone wanting to get involved with Africa, then it can only be a good thing.
  8. Again that's very nicely produced. However, on the future updates board on runescape.com summoning spells are already proposed. As a result, I don't think it would be happening this way. But I'd still like it too.
  9. I spoke to one of them, seemed polite enough. ONE of them? Does that mean he/she is really account sharing? :? Oh c'mon... Throw this guy a frickin bone
  10. And to think, I was so close to 250 big ones  Ah well, Tiger deserved it. Him and his red crew.
  11. Bubsa

    my own game

I'm sure Shippou can give you a hand there. Give him a PM.
  12. Advertise your thingie here my man
  13. I spoke to one of them, seemed polite enough.
  14. What a rotten Tomato you are! Not to say I wouldn't have done anything different... Just don't make a habit of it. One day it's fries, the next, it's blueprints from NASA.
  15. MAKE SURE YOU DO IT I can't emphasise that enough.
  16. yes, 3 people represent an entire clan.. arent you just birlliant As brilliant as that .GIF
  17. Then why should there be an amulet to work with these NPCs? They're there for a reason. Deadly reds to stop camping at rune rocks, Wild Dogs to stop ranger invasions. For me, I see no problem to be fixed by it.
  18. (I know I'm posting, sorry ) But atleast you've had the curteousy to acknowledge that Muijs. If more people could do that this board would be much better :)
  19. Hehe what Phil says is pretty much GW :P But you can't go wrong if one were to mimic it. I think I would prefer invite over apply.
  20. Nice idea pal. The only thing I'd suggest though is that when attacking mutiple people, your max damage is divided by the number you're fighting. Example: You can hit 12s and are fighting 2 people, you can only hit 6s on both. For me I feel it would stop very high levels from simply obliterating everything in sight, while still giving the advantages you mention. What say you?
  21. Until the idiot above me, I've gotta say people this is one of the best threads going. Some of these stories actually make me laugh out loud. Thanks! :P
  22. Tiger will win. I don't mind though he is a really nice guy. But anyway of Tiger, Goose, Olly or Monty to win would be good. I put ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã10 on Monty when he was at 25/1. C'mon Colin! :)
  23. Youches! Your ACL or something? I did my quads in playing rugby, NOT FUN getting in and out of a bath.
  24. Jason Gillispie is THE MULLET KING (Australian Cricket Player for you guys who dont know) That's no mullet! That's a frizzy perm! High Five to Sp4de for the bowl haircut, I had one of them aged 10. I now go to a salon ;)
