The difference between their times and now was that they were leaders, but there wasn't enough quality around the park. Now, it is the opposite. The problem now is much easier to rectify as you don't have to wait for another generation. Perhaps you'll be less fond of Mr. Hunt after seeing him physically assault and perform GBH and Petr Cech. I don't care what anyone says - given his history and the way the replays clearly show him lowering his knee to Cech's skull just before impact, and making no attempt to hurdle the keeper, Hunt meant everything. It makes me sick how he can be considered a professional and paid a yearly wage every week.

What England needs is to play like a team. The spirit and morale within each other must be abysmal. With all due respect to Sven, he could never hold an audience or raise spirits patriotically. Technically and physically there's no reason wahtsover for England not to be on par or exceeding their peers. Mentally, however, they're so far behind it's comical.
