  1. Oh really? That's smeggy. I thought with a trinket though, I could accommodate for lack of WoTF. Plus, fear is becoming more breakable, and warriors already have 'break fear' moves in one stance, don't they?
  2. It's not exactly the most exotic part of the world.. Great Yarmouth is a nice place, wonder why they left that venue :\
  3. Orc Warrior it is :) (if my lore serves me well, it makes the most sense >.<)
  4. It does, and it's not a "click and hope" affair, either.
  5. Well, I haven't tried a warrior yet, so I may as well. :D I had my concerns though that they seem to be constantly hit with the nerf ball. I don't know whether that's just people whining or if there's any truth behind it. But regardless, I'll be trying it when I get back to my halls tonight :) Do warriors often get ganked in contested areas on PvP realms?
  6. I think that really says how bad this is for some Aussies :( I can only hope we Brits can exile some of our rain over there too for them and get them the help they need. Australia's a developed country, so they should be receiving some aid, right? I know the crops and farming can't be helped, but do these people get any aid? I imagine the debate over compensation would be divided, some arguing that it's nature and can't be helped, others saying that global warming, and thus our eco-footprint helped contribute. Anyway, I hope for the best.
  7. I'd actually go back on myself and say there is no better 'overall' community - because you'll always get the good and the bad in any one. I haven't experienced as many griefers in WoW as I did in RS, but I know friends who play who've had it worse. So, I guess it's quite luck orientated really.
  8. I've tried a Tauren Shaman (trial account), UD Rogue, Orc Hunter, Gnome Mage, Gnome Warlock and Draenei Paladin. I've got them all to level 20 or there abouts, which I know isn't a very good indication, but I just wanted to try the classes out and see how I enjoyed levelling them. I've yet to try Warrior or Priest. Turns out I enjoyed them all for their differences :P When I was on my mage, I wished to get up close and bish bosh, then on the pally I wanted to pewpewpew again from range :P So, all of the classes I've enjoyed, just wondering which I'll carry on. Something with decent PvE, but mainly good PvP (1vs1 or Arenas, haven't really decided yet >.<) - or, if other tip.iters were playing on a relatively low toon a good class compliment with them :)
  9. Anyone with a brute forcer and a dictionary list. You think people actually sit there typing different passwords?
  10. I've played both (playing WoW now) and there really is no competition - WoW is the better game, but what did you expect? The game uses a massive world brought alive by retail boxes and online patching, which doesn't take long at all should you find suitable mirrors. The game costs more, by quite a bit, but you get a whole lot more. A massive gaming environment, huge PvP areas, a mass abundance of quests and great guild support; something which RS clearly lacks. Then again, it can be said that you should get all of this, anything less wouldn't be worth it. The fact that RS can be played for free on any PC with an internet connection is a testimony itself, the accessibility of the game is unlimited, explaining its popularity. While JAGeX constantly updates to make the game more summersive, it will never have the capabilities of WoW, but nor is it intending to be. WoW, as an MMORPG for features, gameplay and community, surpasses RS in every aspect, but it comes as no surprise. One may argue that for what you pay for RS, you get a lot in return, but you do with WoW as well. Both are great games for the audience they appeal to, perhaps even front runners in the MMORPG world. For the casual gamer, or for the one with less PC power at their disposal, RS is champion. For those who want a more engulfing MMORPG experience and are willing to pay extra, WoW is unrivalled...at the moment ;)
  11. I'd pick something onomatopoeic, so it sounds nice to you ^-^. Something like Zoom, whizzle - fun things.
  12. I have a feeling if I do this I'll lose more of my already short-in-supply man-points >.
  13. I think it's so it doesn't start auto-loading a page when you open a browser. You may not want to go to the same page everytime you open it, so with about:blank, it doesn't load a page, thus taking a shorter time for you to pick the page you want. I mean, we're talking a few seconds here, but it's handy.
  14. Excuse me? Mate, I was just warning you over what it's like. I thought it was a pretty accurate description, it wasn't meant to be a dig at your tastes. Criticism, learn to take it in all forms. Believe it or not, I don't have time for personal vendettas on a forum.
  15. It's amazing the places on the internet I all of a sudden remember when it comes time to study for finals. Anything to procrastinate, hah. But yeah, the last ~2 years (can't believe it's been that long) have been absolutely fantastic for me :) Excellent mate, very happy for you :) And good luck for your finals!
  16. Even still, with terms like NIGHT, HAWK, WOLF you'll find it very hard to get a name not taken anywhere, even if you called yourself WOLFHAWKNIGHT.
  17. Woah, hang on there. Aren't you the same Grim who told us we're in no position to judge a country of Shariah law, nor its peoples, unless we've experienced it ourselves? And yet you're in the position to tell us that you can simply 'get over' molestation? There's a diffrence between molestation and a freaking country [smarty pants]. And maybe I speak from experience? Did you ever think about that? OH god, no, why would I? You don't know me. Don't act like you know me. Grow up. Of course, it's totally fine for you to speculate and make assumptions over others, but sound the sirens should anyone do it about you! I don't see much difference at all in the barbaricism of molestation and Shariah law, personally. Lashing a woman who was raped by men she met was the example, wasn't it? Hardly any difference at all. Even if you were speaking from experience (which you're clearly not), I'd find it very hard to believe you seeing as you contradict yourself so much. I don't want to be confrontational here, but would you mind trying to find a link or something supporting this? I'd like to see it because, if true, it may change my opinion on the matter, not because I straight up don't believe you. I've seen cases like that too (albeit not for MJ, but for harder and more dangerous drugs) and it really is disturbing. Recently in the UK there was talk of people on the sex offenders register 'missing', ie. the police not knowing where they are, and someone convicted avoiding jail - at least I'm pretty sure that was on the BBC website the other day.
  18. I lost a mobile once. I say once, I kinda threw it int the River Mersey in a rage, but it was the phone's fault for acting up. Materially, I've never really lost anything big.
  19. If you like listening to mainstream slush and sharing a venue with a bunch of 14 year olds, you'll love it.
  20. While I agree with you Tigra that some punishments are not punishment enough, in particular some sex offenders cases here in the UK, I do not believe the chance for them to change should be taken from them, nor is the chance as miniscule as you present it. I only have my own opinion on that, as do you. My ideal is that they should have the chance, in this case be allowed to live, in order to see if they will reform. I've never been a believer in capital punishment. However, as that is my ideal based upon opinion, I must respect other's differing ideals based upon their own opinions, like yours. I guess the common ground we share here are that some offences are grossly under-punished - however, I think with punishment must come an effort to reform. Ultimately, the success of that lies with the offender, and I don't think neither you or I can confidentally say for all offenders how they'll react to that.
  21. Holy moly, Evil_Elf, long time no see! Hope you've been well.

+1 Ha. OK guys, whatever. I'll ignore the irony of that, just whatever.

    Help!!

Thanks for the permission, Satenza. Next time I feel the need for a discussion on an internet forum, I'll be sure to check with you first.

    Kingdom hearts

You all seem to forget I said: "I'd like to think all true FF fans would feel the same." It was a statement of my opinion, which I didn't expect to be countered by what you all believe to be fact.

    Help!!

It's my own way of saying: "If you don't like these forums, go to your own, then". Nothing more. I thought that point was quite relevant.
