  1. I'm liking the different approach to the blog, very enjoyable mini-reads. \
  2. Well thank man. I'm jsut sad because I lost my guthan helm and spear. Really hinders Slayer from a speed standpoint. :-#
  3. Died at Barrows, lost 4m. I bet you ddin't expect that, did you?
  4. [hide=2 Black Masks in Under 15 Minutes][/hide] \
  5. Died due to a stupid mistake on Wave 55. Oh well, I'll get it next time. I actually wasn't nervous at all, the magic prayer just didn't activate like I thought it did. Thanks for the support guys! :
  6. Currently on wave 53! Good luckto me! :ohnoes: \
  7. What I got from that interview is that those Cambridge kids were brought in to test MechScape. Thats how it sounded in context from the interview, anyway.
  8. I'm not too worried about getting any of these levels I plan for, actually. I jsut bought my guthans set(yay!), andI couldn't be happier! Now I'm back to Slayer! \
  9. Good luck man, seems like everything is coming along nicely! \
  10. I'm putting this in bold at the top so people see it! If you are interested in going to DK's or GWD, please PM me! ____________________ Well before June I had quit for almost 2 years. I got bored lately and I've finally returned to RuneScape, hopefully permanently. I've been working hard and I'm finally starting to achieve some of my old goals. STATS(August 10th): [hide=Clues] [/hide] [hide=Random Pictures]I met Paul shortly after the Curse of Arrav quest was released. We gave him a hard time for forgetting shoes.[/hide] [hide=Notable Drops] [/hide] [hide=Levelups] [/hide] Currently: offline today _______________________ Goals: 60 Agility(Currently: 56) 60 Thieving(Currently: 59) 50 Runecrafting(Currently: 48) 75 Cooking(Currently: 73) _______________________ I'm aware that the blog is a little bare for now, but I DO plan to keep it updated and make it look more pretty in the near future.
  11. I'm actually very excited for this quest, even though the dwarf storyline doesn't interest me much. I'm probably after a shiny new reward... =P~
  12. Well I liked the whip earlier but I hate it now because everyone buying it for 3+ million and I can't buy mine back. How irritating... -.-
  13. Did anyone else notice they changed it to 13-18? So you won't need a guardian if you're 18...
  14. Do it. DO IT! If I could I'd travel to Cambridge. It's literally HOURS away but I would ;( You think? I might send in an email then. I mean, it would be quite nice to actually find out what working there would be like. EDIT: Just for confirmation, do you guys think this would be a good idea? It'd be stupid NOT to go..
  15. [hide=] 1st, didn't they break their OWN rule!? 13+ to play! 2nd, if they want testers they must be releasing the super update! Some please go to this and let everyone here on TIF know what the hell it is they're releasing!!! It is only 13+ to play in normal worlds. Under 13 is limited to quick chat only. It isn't neccessarily a super update, but with their current track record they may want more help. This is a volunteer only thing, meaning they do not need to hire additional testers (seeing as their current ones seem to be missing major flaws.) This saves them money, time, and gives them a different kind of tester. The current testers would all be older people, all over the age of 18 I would guess. They would be mature, logical, and have a certain process to follow. With children coming in they may do things that people would not normally think to do, just because it would seem stupid to do it, but chances are one of these kids would do it. Just as an example of a recent flaw: If you logged out during the tutorial, you lost all the item in your inventory. A normal person would not think "Oh I just started playing this new content, lets log out." But a child might get distracted and have to leave, go use the bathroom or something. [/hide] That is a good point, but I still feel that betweem all of the hints at things such a new tab, night/day, a new skill(possibly) and other big updates, that having kids come in to test something that isn't a big update would be a waste of their time and resources. I honestly feel that it could be either MechScape and they lied, or it's that ground-breaking content that they were going to make into a new game but decided to put into RuneScape.

  17. Well since they hinted at the update on the week before, I'm hoping they'll update on Monday for once. ;)
  18. Anything where an existing feature is just relocated would piss me off more than anyone could ever imagine. Jagex haven't done [cabbage] this year and they know it.
  19. [hide=] You'd be surprised how clever they really are ;) If they're so clever they should make an update that isn't either really lame or doesn't send the runescape economy or engine into a downward spiral. lol. If they were stupid then they'd give into the RSOF and stupid demanding players that think they know better than the actual makers of the game. We'd have failin--- I mean sailing as a skill. The old wildy and trade limits removed - both meaning that RWT is rampant and that Jagex has to shut down because of the millions of pounds they have to fork out to pay to credit card companies because of all the fraud. About the only few major decisions they made for the better. I used to be on your side about 6 months ago when I gave Jagex the benefit of the doubt, and here I am 6 months later still very unimpressed with the year's updates so far. If this is the update year then let's update some old skills that need reworking or maybe upgrade existing minigames instead of bringing out new ones that have major glitches and cause people to lose hundreds of millions of gp upon the day of release. Hell, give us a new skill. It's been over a year and a half, and while there's not a rule that says we need one every year, waiting 2 years to release a new skill is just way too long. People with maxed combat are like, "What the hell do we do now? Complete some minor achievements like get 4,000 chompy kills? Get 200,000,000 exp in 5+ skills? Sure!" I'm just saying, there's been a lack of communication between Jagex and some of it's more advanced players. They're not listening to the people who realistically run this game. They give us the content and we breathe life into it, essentially. Without us there's no use for the new content, and so in return they should try to deliver content that really we can be happy with. You can try to ignore it, but the fact is that there are hundreds of threads made daily on the RSOF (and lots here on tip it as well) about how Jagex is blundering left and right with almost every update. It's not that people are being greedy, it's that it's seriously been a long time since we've had an update that truly the majority of runescape can either fall in love with or at least admire from a distance. We got the new agility courses (or should I say, extended old ones) and we got the rest feature...but other than these, I haven't seen too many successes. It's either a hit or miss, and while I don't expect Jagex to hit everytime, I expect a lot less misses than we've been given. I think you really spent too much time doing archeology diddging and it got to your head...JaGeX is doing just fine, its an awesome company, with awesome games, which are updated awesomely. [/hide] Look at your signature and THEN tell us all if Jagex is doing a good job... exactly.
  20. Considering Paul was the lead developer of this quest, it is quite possible.
