  3. I found the Java control panel, and it seems that the only place to enter things is "Java Application Runtime Settings" which is under the Java tab. Each time I try to add something, it doesn't save the setting.. I might be in the wrong place though :?...
  4. 1) Maybe the spinoffs, but I don't pay that much attention to them. FF12 came out in 06, while FF13 is set to be released in 09 (Japan). 2) Final Fantasy 13 is coming out for XBox360 and Playstation 3, but Final Fantasy Versus 13 will be a PS3 exclusive. 3) Maybe.. There could be a few million years in between the games for all we know.. But some of the games do take place in the same worlds. FFX and FFX-2 both take place in Spira. FF12, FF12: Revenant Wings, and the tactics games all take place in Ivalice. 4) I'm not sure, I haven't seen any gameplay videos :?... 5) I don't own an XBox360, but there's Tales of Vesperia and.. Eternal Sonata maybe..
  5. I uninstalled AVG and switched to Avira, and changed my theme to Vista basic from Vista aero. The lag is gone now, so it was either the theme or AVG causing the lag. I'd still like to increase the RAM limit for Java, but I can't find the Java plug-in in the control panel. I used Windows search and I think I found it, but I only get a black command prompt pop up for half a second when I open it.

I remember converting OGM's into DVD's so I could watch my anime on my TV. Overscan ruined the subtitles so it was a waste D:...

Good games Kent. The phone rang during the first ROB/Snake game, which is why I wasn't doing anything.

  10. I tried multiple servers around the US and Canada, and I average 1400-2000kb/s download and 480-512kb/s upload.
  11. Lately I've been having some horrible lag with Runescape, the worst I've ever had. On some worlds, I get a good connection but after about 10 minutes it starts to get bad. Usually my character will stop moving, but I see other players running around, then after 15 seconds I see the log in screen. On most worlds, I just get a 3-6 second delay until my character stops. I don't see the connection lost message in the corner, it just takes me straight to the log in screen. If I try to log back in, it takes ages to connect again, so I try a different world. Sometimes I do get the connection lost message, but it never re-connects. I've tried a lot of worlds from different regions, but I still get lag. The lag has been going on for about a week and a half. My system specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core processor 3800+ 2GB DDR RAM NVIDIA GeForce 7600GT Windows Vista Home Premium Windows Vista was freshly installed about a month and a half ago, and I don't have any adware/spyware virus's etc. I'm on a broadband connection, and have AVG and Comodo firewall running in the background. Sometimes MSN and mIRC is running as well, and I play the game in Firefox. My Java and drivers are all updated. The lag is pretty much on members worlds. (I can play for free with no lag, but paying $7 means lag? wtf?) The lag makes the game an unpleasant experience. I almost lost over 5 million in items at kalphites. I logged in to see my character with 6hp being attacked by 4 kalphite soldiers, but I managed to eat, grab my cannon, and teleport away... Thanks in advance :).

  18. If you like tactical games, there's Disgaea DS and Final Fantasy Tactics A2. The PSP also has the same Disgaea game, but with better music and graphics, but it does have a bug that will crash the game. PSP also has the remake of the original FFT for the Playstation, FFT: War of the Lions. EDIT: To answer your homebrew question, homebrew is software made by programmers who just make it for fun. There's software that allows you to play music and movies on your DS, a drwaing program, and even emulators.

    RPG?

i d/l'ed it but the colours are very strange some times (flashes to purple/green/pink/whatever). i think it's my video card or something but how can i get it normal? (run vista with and without compatibility modus) Set your colors to 16-bit, if I run the game on 32-bit the colors are weird. I've also had the game go all crazy with the colors, but this was a bigger issue with Fallout 1. I just pressed F1 to bring up the help menu and it went back to normal. Also, make sure to patch the games before you play. http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/dload.php for the patches. Make sure to get the official patches and killap's unofficial patch for Fallout 2. It's absolutely necessary if you want to enjoy the games.
  20. Minor respite would be the best way, it only costs 6 MP.

  24. RUNESCAPEfantasy: If you're playing Oblivion: Game of the year edition on the PS3, you can forget about curing vampirism. There's a bug that prevents you from giving the witch bloodgrass.
