    Smash Club.

Smashwiki and Smashboards are good places to start. http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page http://www.smashboards.com/ Youtube is also a good place to see some techniques. You can also always ask questions here, too. As for wavedashing, it's a Melee technique that allowed certain characters to slide along the ground, without actually walking, running. You did it by jumping and air dodging while holding the control stick diagonally to the ground. Wavedashing allows you to perform ground attacks, grabs, and smashes, while being able to move. It's an important technique in high level play. Brawl doesn't have wavedashing, unless you're Kent.

    Fallout 3

I'm just going to download it from Steam, no DRM there. But I have a question about Steam, if I download a game, get a new computer, can I download the game again without having to pay again? I'm assuming yes, because it just seems silly having to pay again :?.
  3. The delay between using a familiars' scroll ability, and the effect actually happening. I liked it when it was instant.. I also find it annoying when you're doing something (Harvesting crops, talking to someone, banking, etc.) and when your familiar teleports next to you; you stop what you're doing. The same thing happens when it reminds you that your familiar has X time left =\.

From what I've read, SecuROMv7 gets installed, and then you've got all the negative Amazon "reviews." http://www.amazon.com/review/product/B0 ... addOneStar

    Fallout 3

I might be getting the game tomorrow ;O. Only thing that bothers me is that the PC version has DRM =\. Oh well, I can deal with it since I'll have better controls, and mods.
  6. It's been a couple weeks, but I've thought of two theories why my internet could be slow. It affects all our computer too, after I've used them, so it's not limited to mine. I've also noticed it starts lagging at around 5:00 here, and my theories are.. 1) Since we're on cable, when my mom uses the TV in the kitchen (We only got it recently) it takes up some of the bandwidth and causes lag. I don't think this is the problem though, because when all the TV's and computers but mine were off, I still had lag. 2) A new subdivision was built nearby, and new residents are starting to move in. We might be part of the same node, and because more houses are hooked up to the same cable, everyone lags. Since most people come home from work or school around 3:00-5:00, Internet and TV usage would be at it's peak. So maybe the problem is out of my control, I might give my ISP a call though.
  7. My opinions: Bandos: It's good for Slayer, unless you need defense instead of strength. Get it after Fury though, it would also be one of the last items I'd get. Fury: Get it, it's a great amulet. Saradomin Sword: Only if you want to train strength, or if you plan to camp out at Waterfiends. Whip is better because you can use a shield. Ranger boots: If you range on a lot of tasks, these would be useful. Personally I'd get them as one of my last items. Warrior ring: I prefer it over berserker ring, it's quite cheap too. I'd buy it. Dragon axe: If you plan to woodcut for a long time and cut yew or magic trees, then it's a good buy. If you're looking at getting a level or two, maybe not. You could sell it back after using it, and it is handy against the jade vine, if you can plant it. Crystal bow: If you don't use it much, then you can hold out on it until you need it.
  8. I've recently planted over 400 watermelon seeds with super compost and using magic secateurs. Only two harvests had less than 15 melons..

Real-time combat like in Oblivion. The turn based system (Called V.A.T.S.) pauses the game during combat, which allows you to target various body parts. When you use VATS, you need action points for each action, so it makes the game turn based during combat. But it's entirely optional, it was inspired by the ability to target body parts in the first two Fallout games.

    Hunter

From my experience, the hunter boosts from familiars is definitely worth it. When I was catching salamanders to train my hunter level, I brought a spirit larupia, which gives a +5 boost. I noticed that the salamanders were entering the traps much more often, and I didn't have as many failed traps. I don't have any definite numbers, but I'd say it was about 15k exp more per hour and I used about 8 pouches.

Anyone up for some games in 20 minutes?
  17. It could very well be the ISP. Have there been any storms or some construction in your area? It might help calling your ISP and asking, maybe they're having some problems... EDIT: And by a Hijack This! log, he meant to download the program, (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US ... hijackthis) running a scan, and saving the logfile and posting it here.
  18. I got to chapter 5 a little bit ago. So far I'm enjoying it a lot, and I'm excited to see how it ends.
  19. There's already a topic about this :|... viewtopic.php?f=151&t=766191
  20. Oh, I know how to apply thermal paste, the complicated part was taking the fan off the heatsink. Which is the only thing I wanted to replace.
  21. For Wii: Smash bros. Brawl, Secret of Mana, and Megaman 9. For DS: Disgaea. For PC: Runescape, and Fallout 3 when it comes out. For PS3: Disgaes 3 and Oblivion.

  24. Well, I bought a new fan to replace my CPU fan, but it ended up being much more complicated. My dad would know more since he's an electrician, so he might be able to replace the PSU fan. It doesn't bother me, I just want to know if it's a sign of impending failure or something :?.
