You could use the blast furnace and have a 1-1 iron/coal ratio. According to Runescape Wiki, it costs 8 gp to unnote iron and 22.5 gp to unnote coal. You'd have more bars, and you'd still make profit, but you need 60 smithing to use the anvil.

How would you know if Sonic's recovery is better than MK's when you haven't even played against anyone decent? (Or anyone at all..)

Sucks compared to MK, but pretty much everyone's recovery does. And Kent said that Sonic's recovery was one of the best (And it is..) so... Toon Link is good, Snake is one of the best, and Ike is OK, but TL is better. He was just comparing Sonic's recovery to MK's. Sonic's recovery is good, just not as good as MK's. Get WiFi or find some local tournament or something.

I think Brimhaven is much better. If you have your house there, you just teleport to your house and use dueling rings to bank. You don't need to spend time recharging your glories and/or skill necklaces either. The mine isn't that much longer, and there's a summoning obelisk on the way too. The Brimhaven mine also has two more rocks and an ore that spawns on the ground. You also don't lose an inventory space with an apron, so you can use Varrock armor. You could stock up on aprons and drop them each time you enter the guild, though. With 93 mining and Varrock armor 3, I got about 8 trips an hour with my terrorbird, including banking and running. This got me about 320 ores/hr. Overall, I'd say use the Brimhaven mine if you're going to mine gold on members. I might give this method a try though... See what numbers I get..

Because it stalls. You could hit your opponent and stall the whole game and win because of damage rules. Sonic can't jump five times in the air, and after MK's fifth jump he still has his b, forward-b, and shuttle loop. I dunno why you'd use d-air off the stage, but I don't think Sonic has the same reach as some of MK's aerials. Also, just try it, I assure you his recovery would come in 1st -3rd place. Try to predict them so you don't get caught off guard, but even then Sonic can be caught off guard too.. Against who?

MK can make it back to the stage from anywhere, and attempting to gimp him isn't always the best idea...

Not cheap, just annoying because of wifi lag. And I've gotten much better at DI, momentum canceling is really useful...
