  1. I personally have had the fight or flight situation in Runescape. A long time ago, I attempted to do the Underground Pass quest. I was a noob, so it took me several days...alone... The atmosphere Jagex created there is actually very unnerving. The less food and health I had, I began to breathe harder. I started to lose hope. I was ecstatic when I found the dwarves. Its just basic instinct.
  2. Well, Mr. Jeppoz. Allow the rest of us to enjoy our update, and you can making silly-looking signatures. As a level 122, you are in a minority, and the majority of players have around 60's and 70's in combat skills. It makes sense that the majority of updates will be for them. I will be happy if the bow is for level 60 or 70 range. Rangers need a normal bow for the upper ranks.
  3. I thought it meant Payable on Death? o_O It does. Today is annual *I am going to say lots of stupid things* day. Forgive me, loooong day it has been.
  4. Living in West Texas, home of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Hugs. Amazing friends. Faith.
  5. Inside all of us there are basic instincts to certain events. He triggered the fight or flight syndrome that causes hesitation and spasms when attempting to distinguish whether he should fight or run. I personally suffer in games and movies where someone jumps off a large cliff. I have a small adrenaline burst there. Makes me very uncomfortable.
  6. Switchfoot is very religious, just listen to ment to live, stars, and this is your life, and thats just to name a few. Ask the average joe schmoe on the streets who isnt a Christian and he wont know the difference. *wink wink*
  7. Umm...they do? Think Switchfoot. Famous all over the place. Dont sing about religious things alot. POD? Equally secularly famous.
  8. For Metal, you want to go with Stryper or Petra. They have been around for a LOOONG time. Ska: Five Iron Frenzy...and good for you they dont force religion into the music! Its eloquently hidden in very fun and addicting songs. Punk: Relient K. They also have nice fun songs and a few religious ones. Hard Rock: Thousand Foot Krutch. These are the headbangers. Rock: Switchfoot...I am sure you have heard of them. I'm personally a fan of Jars of Clay. For a good stream of Christian Alternative, go to http://897powerfm.com/ . They are a really good station in Dallas that plays commercial free Christian Alternative 24/7. You can listen online, too (good for me, since I am away at school). They are. The name means Point Of Destiny. Also a fan.

  10. The p2p whip doesnt even have the reach ability. So my answer is NO.
  11. About the chainmail. I reccomend that it give a stat boost to users wielding a crossbow. The bloody thing needs at least a little bit of a boost. Most crossbowmen wore chainmail anyways.
  12. Many more than that, but I took it off highscores.
  13. Since chainmail is designed to give rangers an armour bonus without a penalty (with no bonus), this would be nice too. Great for low to mid level hybrids.

Facebook is designed so that friends can keep tabs with eachother from long distances, and to better get to know classmates. I never accept friend invitations from people I dont know (unless they are from my school). It also has a very nifty photo hosting service now. I do not think that the high school one should be used, it is pretty lame.
  15. Uh, wouldn't that be appropriate for everyone, including player mods? - Sligo At least you know the people who have been caught attempting to steal from other players. Its a discussion thread, and we are discussing. Not everyone scams, not everyone is guilt free of attempting to scam.
  16. If you have a blackmark for scamming, the examine might say "this person may not be trustworthy".
  17. It could be abused though, and Jagex does not want us giving contact details over Runescape. Note how MSN is censored. However, if it examined you on skills, that would be cool .
  18. well he wrote other good songs such as blue bayou, love hurts, crying, only the lonely, in dreams. one of the best vocalists too. plus he's in the god dam Rock N Roll HAll of Fame...... read all about him on Wikipedia One Hit Wonder.....Normally is when you know a song really well, but you have no idea who wrote it or performed it. In this case, Roy Orbison. Either way he has a One Hit Wonder...and none of his other stuff is known very well. Exactly. Whether or not he wrote some other good stuff, no one honestly knows who he is and none of his other songs ever became popular. He only had one really popular song, and the song didn't even get his name out. Those of us who happen to live in Lubbock, Texas would have to kill you. I bet you dont even know who Mac Davis or Buddy Holly are. You cannot claim to be a fan of Rock unless you know who Buddy Holly is. I love living here, its like the birthplace of Rock and Roll.
  19. Rune is ugly. That is all.
  20. Level 66's wearing full red and blue castle wars armor with a granite maul. In fact, almost every mid-level carrying a maul.
  21. The PIN, right. That answers my question, thanks. However, edestruction: is it really that much harder to walk inside the bank? I mean no offense, it's just that so many people are always asking for more banks, telebank spells, etc. lpinkus The advantage is that if you get hacked and your pin gets changed, you can continue training like woodcutting or something until your pin gets changed again. Read the Bank PIN post and it is clear.
  22. To all the people flaming "OMG F2P NO PAY NO UPDATE!!!!!11", get the heck out. This is the discussions and suggestions thread. If you have nothing critical to say, then leave. I must say that this is the best thread on the subject I have ever seen, and it brings up good points. I would not mind seeing a few of these ideas realized. I do not like your suggestion that free areas should stop recieving members quests. I am personally fond of the city of Falador and love the storyline surrounding it. As for fletching, why not? The problem there is that the free area does not have a flax field. Either one would have to be added, or the flax and bowstrings would be allowed to be tradable from p2p servers. Unfortunately, the latter would completely screw over the p2p economy. As it stands, flax is a major money supply for noobs. Making them the sole supplier for flax and bowstring production to f2p would for one destroy the flax market supply to members (would you rather sell bowstrings 100 each to a member, or 500 each to desperate free-players?) and create a lot of money in an already unstable market. We already have enough players alching yew longs for millions of gp, we dont need an even larger amount doing it as well. Expect your preacious party hats to go over 100 million if that were allowed to happen. Chaos crafting...all for it. Its a hard thing to do, and the rune market needs to be balanced a little more. Arrowhead smithing, falls under the same belief as fletching. No worries about market crashes or anything, but you would need the fletching skill for it to be of any use. Green dragons...why not? Well, unfortunately those are one of the most killed dragons in p2p, and would crash a small market of hide sales. If f2p should recieve any dragon, it would be the red dragons. You guys would eagerly slaughter them with your new high powered bows, and the market would come back from the ashes. You wouldnt be able to craft the red hides (if you do, it says "maybe a member could better do this"), but hopefully the stock of green hides at Oziach and the Champion's guild could be raised. Bank space is an issue best left to Jagex. I would rather have them give members more, but that is thier call. As for the free game to be a demo, it is not. It is the full version of the game. Members is the expansion series. Jagex has made that clear on countless times. Free players pay for the game with ad views and clicks, which produces quite a bit of revenue. Members pay extra for the salaries and equipment used to produce the new updates.
  23. Nice necro. Mods, please do not lock this, I still need some suggestions before I submit.
  24. The fine was only 10-thousand dollars. The rest were lawsuits from residents and the humane society, SPCA, and about 20 neighboring communities animal shelters.
  25. Congrats. When you turn a lump of Pb into a lump of gold, I will be impressed. OMG! I turned Ag into Silver!
