Note my last sentence about how these could easily be applied to the new game. Other than that, I think runes are unnecessary. Of course, they would have to change the name of the game if they took them out, so blah. Ive been told that somewhere from 650 million to 1 billion gp is passed around in the sales of runes, whether from shops or players. I dont care.

Here is my opinion on how to overhaul the game...many of you should now leave or face dire urges to flame! First and freaking foremost: Warriors need sheathes, archers need quivers, and mages need bags or a way to sidle thier staves. This annoys me, sorry if it doesnt annoy you. Next (prepare to angrily click the X button). Abolish runes...mages need Mana points, that can only be recovered by potions or death. Elemental spells should be reset, and improved on by level. And more death: To balance this out, mages should have several schools to choose from (and NOT overlap). First would be white magic, would would allow healing and power over the undead. Call it a cleric, if you want. Next, black magic. Fire, water, earth, air, nonelemental attacks, blah. For those of you who hate me, red magic would be allowed to give weaker versions of both to a single mage. New armours and types! I want some new freaking armor for all classes. I am sick of the normal kind. Some guy posted nice fakes for new armours back when dragon legs almost came out. The warrior armor had a helm with freaking antlers...yes! And the ranger armour was brilliant. Finally, the most diabolical idea yet! Dual wielding of weapons and shields! First: shields. Why shields? Simple, no attack, but you gain double the defence of both shields combined from the ability to block almost any attack. Useful when in the wilderness for non-combat reasons. Next: weapons. Reduced defense, in fact...massive defense penalty. Your accuracy takes a hit as well, but your strength bonus is boosted. You hit less often, but quicker and with more power. Also...spear animations. The stab should have you grab with both hands and plunge it into the enemy. In fact, make spears useful...I havent seen a single spear in the wild yet... Just some ideas for that totally revamped game they plan on coming out with later... :P . Brownies if you read this whole thing. Flame away, fanbois!

If you have HL2 silver or gold, play Day of Defeat: Source...just came out today and it is hands-down the best multiplayer WW2 action game out there.

They are better than rune. In the case of the knife, it is better than a dragon dagger!

You should add that the level 133's wield both the Chakram and Knives (two variants). They drop the respective weapon.

I do believe the show is called Xena. I am not sure though, since I have never seen it. Being a history major, I am familiar with many ancient weapons. Chakram were used in Greece and Asia. The name is derived from Chinese.

Trust me...lots of girls "dig" glasses. Just keep them clean, though. Thats what turns them off. Plus, guys with glasses who wear contacts look goofy for a while, because of our wierd tan lines :P

Indiana Jones 4 teh win! Of those, I would go as the Jedi. Mostly since of the choices that looks slightly less...wierd...

Kefka, from Final Fantasy 6. Not necessarily difficult (although he has the most evil attacks of any final boss), mostly because you can use 12 characters in the final battle. But its his DEMEANOR that makes him awesome. He's totally full of himself and his power, until the end. His own actions cause his downfall, and the look on his face when he realizes this is offset by the maniacal laughter that follows.

anything on MTV scares me...theres no more music on that channel now. Take "Made". "Turning geeks into popular kids one nerd at a time". That show is horrible, and it promotes rediculous notions of class order in high school. Not to mention those people are creepy...

Mid senior year was the last time, a friend of mine had died. I wasnt going to cry, but a girl was bawling on my arm and I caught the contagion. Before that it was junior year, when I recieved news that one of my most beloved childhood friends was killed. She was walking to school in Ireland when a car bomb went off in front of her school and killed 16 people.

This one is wise. Mutual attraction is the way to go. Build a bond with a few girls, act naturally. Don't try to alter your personality or appearance, stay within your character. Eventually, friendship will turn into deep friendship, and eventually a relationship. Also, once you have a girlfriend...When she asks you what you want to do, never say "I dont know" or "Why dont you pick". As a guy, you should be ready to decide. I am not being sexist. God did not make woman out of the skull of Adam to dominate over him, nor did he take her out of his foot to be walked over by him. Instead, he took her from under his arm to comfort her, out of his ribs to protect her, and close to his heart for him to love her.

It's multiplayer only at the moment, but the developers say that they are planning on making a singleplayer version after the game has been released/patched.

Most school firewalls block everything. At our school, we have a solution. Download iTunes...then download MyTunes Redux. You can now listen to and download any song on the network, and it is completely free and legal (since posting your songs on iTunes says that you have given consent. Viola.

It would be wonderful for those of us who have a semblance of a working global economy. It might be difficult for some...especially merchants. I would enjoy it, but others might not.
