I have two friends who just came back to Runescape after a long break. After a long talk I recommended them to do the "Defender of Varrock" quest for Armoured Zombies, obviously, but the quest doesn't appear in their quest journal. I have quest cape and I never had any similar problems. Is there any reason why? Is there a requirement we never heard of? Varrock achievement diary perhaps?

I have a few ideas: 92 Firemaking - Infernoadze 83 Hunting - Dragon Implings 75 Runecrafting - Giant pouch 83 Farming - Spirit Tree 83-85 Slayer - Spiritual Mages/Abbysal Demons 94 Magic - Vengeance/Ice Barrage Edit: Just realized you mentioned something that is "close" to leveling. Anyways these are more like long term useful goals. :thumbsup:

For those who tried this method, how many Humidifies can be casted in an hour when fully concentrated? I did diamond bolt enchanting from 83-93, and don't get me wrong, this was a good method and I would of continued to 99 but 1k casts every four hours wasn't good enough for me. High alchs are cheaper than Humidify but for some reason I just can't stand high alching anymore. I could afford Bursting or String jewellery but that would take most of my cash away, so I went with what I thought was the next best thing. What is everyone's opinion on this method to 99 magic? Thanks

If I remember correctly, Ghostly Warrior's drop alot of Chaos Runes.

I was standing at GE when this message "player is reading your skill stats!" appeared in my chat. I've never seen that before and I don't remember any news saying we could check player's skills directly in the game. Does anyone know about this?

Ohhh..I feel kind of stupid lol..I remember bringing my Varrock Armor 3, but I must of forget to wield it. I was wondering why I could only buy 8 of em. I just bought 56 others :thumbsup: . Thx for all the responses.

I never really payed attention to the rewards from the Varrock achievement diary, until now.. About these battlestaves, can I only buy 8 at a time? And after I bought them, how long do I have to wait until I can buy them again, the next day?

I just recently got 75 slayer, and the first task I got is Gargoyles. Obviously I never tried them. I was just wondering, do they hit hard? Would I be fine with Bandos/Guthans, using bunyip + super set? Or should I pray all the way?

These places are not what they used to be, with all the new places and the experience is not all that great (~60k-80k/h) but Giant Skeletons (Damis Lair), or Bandits, seems to be what your looking for. If you decide to go with Bandits, make sure to bring a saradomin/zamorak item, this will make them agressive.

Get a good prayer level 50-70 (the higher the better) and a decent mage level for Fire Wave/Blast, or even Slayer dart(requires 55 Slayer/50 Mage) and just mage them. Bring range and dds, for Karil/Ahrim.

Do the boss' have to be killed each time we want to access the area with all the other monsters, such as Cave Crawlers, or is it a one time thing?

So my next slayer task is Spiritual Warriors. It's the first time I'll fight these. Can I get experience from Spiritual Warriors of any Gods, and which one would be easiest to fight? What should I bring/wear? And where should I kill them, like is there a specific spot in the GWD.

I never knew they were that rare, considering it took some people 10k-16k to catch one. Personally, I never liked fishing Sharks and I'm pretty sure I only fished about ~250 Sharks in the time I've been playing Rs, and yet I still have a Big Shark banked. I guess I got very lucky. Nope you can't. I remember having to use the pool in Oo'glog when I was making oak planks, meaning terrorbird(usually my first choice for energy) wasn't permitted.

how the hell did ppl figure this out? They found it out by accident. It been around for a while and hasn't been noticed until recently. They just had items in their BoB and went to a F2P world. They noticed they had items in their BoB still and when killed the BoB didn't drop their stuff. Can I ask, how does it have to do with ReapMe getting 50 glories?

Go with 10 maples/5 raw fish I think that's the best combo at the moment, if you want seeds.

It's only good for PvP, but at 60 range it's not worth it. For training just stick with the much cheaper options such as short bows, knifes, darts.. On the other side, the D bow does look pretty cool, if you have the money to waste, it sure looks good if it's for looks.

Just to make sure, go beside Diango and drop the carrot. Check if Diango carries it. If he doesn't well pick it up and decide what you'll do it with it later. If he does, just leave the carrot on the ground until it dissapears.

I guess you can try both SW and PC and use the one you like the most. The exp usually goes faster if you like what your doing. Instead of Mossies you can try Fire Giants. You just have to complete the Waterfall quest and keep your glarial amulet. They have terrible defense, and drop 1 gold charm almost every kill. They also drop other decent stuff such as Rune Scimitars, Herbs, Seeds, etc..The area have many safespots.

Yes, I realize it's out of date and not the most efficient training spot, but I was just giving him an option. Besides, Giant Skeletons are better than killing Zombies using no prayers.

Another semi-afk option, and very easy monster would be the Giant Skeletons from the Damis Lair. There is 2 spots of 2 Skeletons each, so once they are none aggressive, just switch spots.
