I've seen a lot of people say that they buy a load of bronze arrows to train ranging. My question: Why bronze arrows? Wouldn't the better the arrow the better the training?

Well that's what I took into consideration. I can high alch all day so it doesn't bother me to do that. If I bought 3 green hides at 1600 ea, thats 4800. Alch for 4680, that's only a 120gp loss each alch. I need about 68,345 green bodies to get 99 crafting. That would be a loss of about 8.2mil. If I bought yew logs at 300 ea, nats at 300 ea, and flax at 100 ea (correct me if prices are wrong) so that would 600. If I alched them that would be 768 so about a 168gp gain. I need to fletch about 81,979 yew longs for 99. So for 99 fletch I would make a profit of 13.7mil. For cooking I'm not sure on that yet.

What would be a decent melee level to kill blue drags? I need a little over 2000 dragon bones for 70 prayer and I want to collect them myself. I would go for green drags but I get pked a LOT. Also, where would be the best place?
