It doesn't need to be, the army gets Rosetta Stone for free, and I'm sure they can cut a huge deal for schools. That's not American Education, that's your school. My school actually did a good job at teaching, they connected with the students, and actually TAUGHT us. TO THE OP: I have to disagree with you. English is a very predominant language, if you want to learn another language, you can do that on your own, that shouldn't be forced upon us.

And as I said I don't think we should start a revolution now, i believe that the system is still salvageable. And due to Joe Schmoe would do just about anything if he thought everyone else was doing it, i almost said anything he thought was right, but that doesn't have to be the case as has been proved so many times.... Ans also at least at the moment the government can't "attack' these revolutions, freedom of expression, as long as they don't turn violent, but if it's serious it won't matter. My point is that the big wigs in Washington think they are invincible and the American people need to tell/show them they aren't, I think electing Scott Brown did wonders. edit: on your above post, cops are citizens too If there's a revolution, it's going to be violent. And I really don't see any sort of revolution anywhere in my lifetime. The government isn't THAT bad yet.

I don't see why those couple said South Dakota. I've lived here for 19 years, and the only reasons people say it sucks is because the come here and are really too lazy to figure out things to do. Not only have I lived in South Dakota for 19 years, 18 of those years was on a reservation. Trust me, we find things to do everyday all day long. The weather always keeps it interesting as well. I can tell you one story, one day back in high school, we went to school in short sleeve shirt and shorts...next day we had a snow day due to a blizzard. And just for clarification, I'm not a hillbilly. I was never a farmer, I can enunciate my words and I'm in college. :thumbsup:

If the government truly does something that crosses the line so much it starts a revolution, the military will be sent to suppress it, however most of us would look the other way. If it was a revolt about something idiotic, then they'll do their job, but we are citizens too, if we feel the Constitution and our rights are in complete danger, trust me, we won't suppress anything. They can't discharge us if they have no power.

The government will spin it into treason. Plus, the army would side with the government. Martial law could also be used to enforce the government's control. The government has thought this through much better than you, they have made laws to circumvent it and say it's to protect the people. Just to point something out. The Army will not "side" with the government. Everyone I know doesn't like the government. We'll be forced to side with them, but it's against our will. We didn't sign up to protect the government, we signed up to protect you...or in most cases I see now days, to get through college.

I don't see your point in the No Child Left Behind Act. Why should it be abolished? Your point is contradicting. You like the act, but yet think it should be abolished? I think it actually should be raised a little bit more, because some kids just need that extra push to succeed, and I'd rather have a country of people who succeed rather than those who just get by. Dumbing down test doesn't hold those who want to succeed back, if you want to learn more, tell your teachers, they'll give you more work. The welfare system has always been abused, and as long as it's around, it'll be abused. People will always find a way to cheat it, and if you just take it away, than those who actually need it will be on the streets. I'd rather have some people cheat the system than fill the streets with more people. The government has more things to do than to find people jobs, that's their own thing, they need to do it. The government is corrupt, I would know, I'm in it. I defend this country, and I don't like the government. No matter what you do, a government will be corrupt. You cannot tell me one government that doesn't have some sort of corruption. That's what power does, it corrupts people. I'm not saying EVERYONE in the government is corrupt, I'm just saying, there's no way to get by this corruption. P.S. These represent my views, and not the views of the entire crew.

What are your stats? We can give you better monsters depending on your stats. Also, you can check out Kent's Summoning Guide in the AOW for additional help.

Check out Muggi's guide in the AOW for an outline, slight adjustments would be needed (like rune c'bow and broads with diamond (e) for 360's and Jad, for example), but it's enough to get an idea. Your stats would be able to do it, but it won't be exactly easy, and cost more since you don't have 70 prayer. If you can, I'd work on getting the EE (Enhanced Excalibur), I was able to get to Jad without using any brews (just EE spec).

This is where I kill them. If you go to the far east side of the plateau, the throwers will leave you alone, and you'll have the melee trolls all to yourself to slaughter slay! On another note, if you have a cannon and cballs, you can go cannon Ice Trolls north of Jaitizo, and I believe the drops still make up for the cballs? It may be a little less/more now, I haven't checked in about 2 years :blink:.

Would you need any special set-up for them? About how many cballs do you go through an hour?

Hello, Komodo_Jo, Killing the waterfiends is in fact, optional, but it does mention in the guide that killing them is recommended. You would have been able to skip that part if you opted out of killing the waterfiend and been able to finish the quest. If you have any other concerns, feel free to PM me about this! Actually, I went to Dags after the above posters (including yourself) said dags over yaks, and with the cannon and black knives, I was getting around 77k/hr. It was about 65k/hr at yaks. These are with cannon, mind you.

I want to get 85 range, the problem being...I hate range. So I bought some cballs and now I'm currently at yaks with a cannon and black knives (using up the random arrows in my bank first, but will be using black knives). While I was here, I was thinking, would Dags be faster range xp with a cannon than yaks? Or are yaks still the fastest?

Well out of that 10m, how much are you willing to sacrifice?

I'd go hunt penguins, it may not be much, but it'll cut down on that 140k.

It's not double xp, it's bonus xp. It starts at double, but then over the course of 10 hours reduces to 1.1x for the rest of the weekend. But regardless, this is the time to do it.

Did bosses give more before the update? Or is this a new thing? I've never boss hunted before.

I want to say it's truncated afterwards. I believe I recall reading yesterday someone saying their previous max was 35, and they hit a 359, or something in that general area.

So how exactly has it changed? Is it just scaled (.4 xp per LP of damage vs. 4 xp per HP from before), or does anyone know of any formula? Jagex kind of confused me with that....

Hmm, I'll have to go out killing tomorrow, seems kind of pointless to make it tougher to kill the monsters.

This is actually different now from my understanding. The KB says that ... "The experience you receive will vary, depending on the combat level of the monster you are fighting" I'm interested in seeign what this ends up being... wait what does that mean? eh, idk if that's good or bad :( I'm not quite sure, just give it a couple days to see what most people agree upon.

I don't really see why it would be any different...Everything was just multiplied by ten...Your health, the monsters health, and your max hit...

[insert huge long rant here, mixed in with some words that irritate others to start a flame war] ... To be honest, it doesn't bother me much, although I'll have to get used to saying life points vs. hit points. I kind of like it just because it's something new, however I feel sorry for the crew!

I'm completely clueless to this glitch (I just found out about it reading this thread). To those saying they'd break the glitch had they known about it? Congratulations, do you want a cookie? To those saying morals have no place in runescape, I highly disagree. Yes, it's a game, but I still play my character how I am in real life, which has morals. Even if it is a game, my personal integrity won't allow me to look past those morals. Would I have abused the bug? Nope. Why not? I don't see the need to. I've played for closing in on 4 years on this account now, and I'm sitting at 8m cash (obviously more with items). I went about 2, 2 and a half years without even making one mil and I still have fun. I don't need money in RuneScape to have a good time, I prefer being "poor", it makes me actually have to do things on my own. It makes me actually have to use my head a little bit more than normal (notice I said a little bit, I'm not doing physics formulas over here). I just don't see the point in it. I'm going to log on, do whatever I feel like doing, and log off. Money Making and abusing glitches is the last on my to-do list.
