  1. Bait's unnecessary with red sallies, I catch them quite fast without bait, most of the time, I'll have 1-2 sallies waiting/nets sprung at all times.
  2. There's very rarely competition, I've only had to world hop maybe two or three times between 59 and 60-whatever level I currently am. I see you don't have 71 hunter so Arctic Bear is out, but if in the future you get 71 summoning and want to hunt some more, the Bear raised my xp/hr by 5-10k, so it might be worth it if you already have the levels. Without it, at red sallies, you can get anywhere from 65-70k xp/hr. I have heard something about net trapping penguins, but I don't have any numbers for that.
  3. Serum 207 is probably the cheapest gp/xp potion to make, however they do not note, so you'd have a huge stock in your bank. The potions fluctuate heavily, making it hard to always pinpoint one potion worth it, that's where you have to look for yourself on the GE. Personally, if I want to level up herblore a bit, I'll clean herbs, mainly because you can profit off of it and make a decent amount of xp, however it's pretty click intensive (I use Mousekeys to do it, makes it a lot easier). If you're into making potions, I wouldn't go any higher than 26 gp/xp on a potion.
  4. That's an amazing help. OT: From what I understand, it's once a week like Tears, but since it hasn't been out a week, I'm not 100% sure.
  5. I usually play some mini-games when I'm bored (I always invest some in ancients and go have fun at cw!), or just take a slight break?
  6. I'd prefer to stay balance, as it'll help you in the longer run if you want to monster hunt as well.
  7. When I did fight caves with curses: If I turned on the curse while the attack was in mid-air (meaning, the beast launched it, but it hadn't "hit" me yet), sometimes I'd get hit, and then sometimes with the 360, I'd get hit the next attack too, and then the curse would take effect. When I did fight caves with prayer: I would do the exact same as above, only I wouldn't get hit. From my experience, the curses DO take longer to come into effect.
  8. If you look at the very bottom, it says it was last updated January 5th, 2010, so it should be pretty well up to date. If you're meleeing with slayer, and you don't have a black mask, I'd take a break for a couple hours and make the money to get one, I would never suggest slayer without it. I haven't soloed KBD, but the guide seems pretty well up-to-date to me. Take the set up and try it out, see how well you fare.
  9. He's trying to defeat a monster in the quest One Small Favour (IIRC), and needs advice on how to kill it with his stats. He's tried using recoil with iron pick, super set, d plate, and other rune armor, and failed. Just a little tip, proper grammar and punctuation is your friend. It makes reading your request that much easier and will invite more users to take the time to read it and help you out. As for your question, the only way I can see is how you're doing it. Just keep trying the recoil method and bring the best food you can. Try to bring a Spirit Kalphite if you can to hold 6 extra pieces of food, maybe? Other than that, just keep trying, you'll eventually get it.
  10. What's your budget?

Use Kuradel. As for quests, I'd have to get back to you on that one. EDIT: If you want access to the Chaos Dwarf Battlefield to try for a hand cannon or a Dragon Pick, you can do Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf, Temple of Sennisten unlocks Curses (very good), Nomad's Requim, although hard (I haven't beaten it) gives you a good cape and 70 zeal to use at SW, Within the Light gives some pretty decent xp rewards as well.
  12. I used the "search Topic" feature at the bottom of this thread, and it didn't show anything so: "Mostly Harmless" refers to Mos Le'Harmless.
  13. I would get all 80's first, it'll make training past that faster.
  14. I did Blast Furnace maybe a year ago, and if you're bored from smithing, you might want to do that just to break it up a bit.
  15. I'd put it on herb, because since you have to go collect the charms, chances are, the other drops you should be collecting alongside the charms could easily net you quite a bit in cash, and then you could use that to level up the summoning.
  16. You seem to of garbled that first sentence. But its like I said: Dagg bones (the most expensive but highest xp) at a gilded altar (triple xp) is the best xp:speed ratio Dragon bones (best cost:xp bone) at ectofunctus (quad xp) is the best cost:xp ratio Which clearly implies altar method costs more, but is faster. Ecto method is cheaper but slower. Made sense to me. I'll rephrase it for you, Paw. You mentioned using Dragon Bones on the Ecto is the best cost/xp ratio, so I was mentioning the slowness and annoyance of using the ecto wasn't enough to justify using it.
  17. However the speed of the Gilded Altar vs. the Ectofunctus isn't enough to justify the annoyance of the Ectofunctus, last time I checked. Unless you enjoy grinding 14 bones a trip (unless you can buy the bones already in a pot), and traveling to get buckets of slime, and then worshipping 14 bones at a time while having to collect Ectotokens, I'd use a Gilded Altar.
  18. You use 1/10th of the charge if you dont want to use the certain tool, and it will give you another random tool with whatever charge is left, so I would say morphic is better as you can choose the tool That's where I got 10% from, thanks. Volatile tools aren't worth it unless you just want to level up with whatever it decides to give you.
  19. I believe the volatile changes every 10% too, I could be wrong though, but it's far more worth it to use morphic tools.

Also take into consideration exchanging your pouches to get, I believe, 70% of the shards back? Please correct me if the percentage is off.

http://forum.tip.it/topic/185420-kents-guide-to-summoning-mastery-bork/ Use Kent's guide to know which pouches to make and throw them into the summoning planner.

I did Plunder, as I can't stand blackjacking.
  23. Another method is to just go to RSOF under the Events forums, there's always Open Houses listed there.
  24. I completed it with lower stats than that, so you should have no problem. I KNOW you can pot up herb and farming (that's what I did), so I'd assume you could for Mage, but you never have to pot through the quest, just to start it.
  25. Go to the runescape homepage and either log into the game, or use the Grand Exchange page on the homepage and find the price of a mind rune, multiply by 10,000. We're here to help with questions, not laziness.
