I read somewhere that curses take a turn to come into effect, and when I did the Fight Caves, I noticed it quite often, if I turned my prayer on after they launched the attack, I'd get hit, and then I sometimes got hit the next turn too (with prayer STILL on), so I'd actually recommend Prayer, but that's just from my slight experience.
  2. I'd still go with Duradel, Sumona's speed comes from cannoning her tasks.
  3. You should do alright, although I can't remember an inventory. The first battle is the toughest, and after that it's cake. You can easily range the final 3 forms. I believe melee is the best for the first.
  4. After Throne of Miscellania, you need to do Royal Trouble to access everything on the island. When you cut the logs, you automatically give them to the logger in return for favor, so you won't ever see the logs. If you're looking for favor, I prefer mining the coal since it's close to the Fairy Rings and gets you favor quick.
  5. I was under the impression that never worked...
  6. Check out Muggi's guide in the AOW for a great helpful guide *note* I'd use Rune c'bow and broad bolts (and diamond (e) bolts for jad) vs. the crystal bow
  7. What does your quest journal say?
  8. Wait...when did they move it? Wasn't it just by the Falador gates?
  9. I'm not quite sure if you will or not, but I'd use Super Restore's instead of prayer pots. I take somewhere around 18 super restores and make it to jad with a few left.
  10. There's your problem right there. What something's worth varies from player to player. As you can see, some people thought it was, some say it wasn't. Those who "know what they're talking about" just don't like it from personal preference. I haven't used them, I have no intent on using them, however my point is in fact a point. He could very well buy them, try them himself and find out if they're worth it. This is, of course, a game. Why not buy something if you want to? My point stands very strong, so thanks for the flame attempt, but it didn't work out. Yes, statistically, there are better things. But if you're going to go hardcore into statistics, then that's just ruining the fun of the game in my opinion. Fun is relative. Statistics are not. When someone asks a question on this forum, the most obvious way to answer is the statistical way. What if everyone just answered with LOLFUN advice? "Hi, I was wondering which crafting method had the lowest GP to experience ratio. Thanks." "SUP BRO. Dude just kill cows and sell the bones, beef, and hides for battlestaves, cause it's TOTALLY AWESOME to one-hit the cows, bro!!!" Well you're right, that is the lowest gp to experience ratio. My point was that he should buy it and try it out himself to see if he thinks it's worth it. Stonewall said that I have no point, when in fact I do. Since I saw people say yes, and some people say no, I say the best thing IS to buy it and try it out. He can always sell it back if he doesn't like it.

  12. I have to disagree with those who said no. It's really up to you. This is your account, and you decide how you want to play it. Would you be happy if you broke your bank for it? I'm sure it's not too hard to make some extra money, especially if you'll be slaying with them. Do you think they're worth how much time you spent to get that money? You can always sell it back if you don't like it.
  13. With iron mining, I usually got around 30k xp/hr and about 40k with granite. But that's because I don't hardcore focus on it. You also get some money from iron, so it's up to you if that 10k xp/hr is worth it or not.
  14. You have to do research on that one. No one will tell you because then the cost for that item would rise, making it more expensive to high alch. Just look on the GE and the high alch calc on the tip.it main page to find the cheapest.

Kyatt's require 57 summoning (Wolf Whistle quest needs to be completed first), and is a VERY good iron mining method. If you're going to get serious about mining, it's a good investment, plus Summoning helps in many other situations as well.
  16. Coal's a little tougher than gold to get by without being attacked. I never get attacked mining gold, but I had to pay attention while mining coal because there aren't as many people, but the creatures are easy to get trapped on the other side of the rock, so you'll be safe to mine.
  17. The best way is to have noted planks in your inventory as well as 2-3 sc hammers and a cash pile. Use your noted planks on your butler to unnote, as soon as he gets there, unnote some more, build your larders, and by time you're done, he should be back, and just repeat. Alternatively, you can have noted logs, use them on your butler to unnote them, then again to turn into planks, and just keep repeating.
  18. I got a pretty steady 60k an hour paying mild attention.
  19. I don't believe it does...why would it?
  20. I turn my Private to Friends, that way I don't get random people PMing me and annoying me. But they can see you're online, you just won't know they're talking to you. If you private is set to Friends of Off they can't see if you're online right now. You can add me and i would actually be on, but it would say that i am offline. Until i add you though i will still appear offline, or unless i change my private setting. Now the second part of what you said applies only to if you add them to your ignore list. Hope that is what you meant though, just trying to clarify it. Yep, that's what I meant, just didn't say it clear enough, thanks for the extra clarification, Cpt.

A lot of people also think that Magic Dart isn't affected by mage bonus, doesn't mean they're right. As far as you being "wrong" that's correct if you're referring to the cost of barrows repair costing more than Bandos in the long run...the VERY long run, however you drops from monsters should EASILY cover those costs plus some profit. I'd still choose barrows over Bandos.

I've gotten 80-87 WC trying to get a bird egg, @ Mole I can get 20-30 nests an hour easily. The difference being when wcing in every 10 nests u get like 4 rings, 5 seeds and 1 egg (roughly) At mole I'm not sure if you can get eggs as they are special nests, but if you can the chances are like 1 in 200 or so. I've easily gotten 60+ nests from WCing and no eggs I went from 75-84 and gotten a raven egg, and 2 god bird eggs.
  24. The Toktz-ket-xil has a +5 strength bonus vs. the Dragon Sq.'s 0 strength bonus.
  25. No, you need to use the spear to get the effect.
