Are you going to Heaven or Hell?
Re-read the Bible. I admit i haven't finished it, but i know what im talking about. What most people think of as hell is dantes inferno, which is obviously not part of the bible. Again, there is the lake of fire in which satan was tossed into, but to punish him not for him to rule over as a place of torture. It is widely accepted by many theologians and even the old pope, that the bibles hell is a metephor for not being in the presence of god. This is held up by the fact that thats the way it was used in the book and the fact hell meant "grave", or something like that, in greek. The will known vision of hell is from a bit of creative righting done by an old time theologian, dante. He wrote the book that came up with what hell was and added things like purgetory, and his book was accepted and later exploited by the catholics of that day as fact.

Are you going to Heaven or Hell?
Catholics didnt just create hell and impliment it into the bible, it was always in the old scriptures, it was just never brought into the lime light until Catholics in the middle ages wanted to keep people going to church out of fear. So its not a matter of they just created something out of the blue, its they brought it to light and let everyone know more about it because before this time, it wasnt really mentioned. As for whether Im going to heaven or hell, well Id hope im going to heaven, but its not up to me to decide, i will find out when my time comes, I just hope that my lord and savior will grace me after I die and let me in  They created what we know as hell, by drawing together many elements from the bible. Satan was cast into a lake of fire, it doesnt say hell nor does it say to rule over the place where sinners go. Hell is mentioned as a place where sinners go, but there is no details. Actually, if i remember right, hell is greek for "grave" or "ghost" (if your fluent in greek please do correct me), maybe meaning that you just dont go to heaven. Of course, greek would be a religion many at the time were fluent in, and one of the places the disciples tried to convert after jesus left.

Are you going to Heaven or Hell?
Hell isnt christian. It was created by the catholics to scare people into conversion in the medieval ages. The bible says you live with god or away from god. There is no little horned men with pitch forks boiling you alive and deep frying your eyes, or at least not if christianity is right. If you are of faith, dont base it off of heaven or hell. Religion isnt supposed to be a ticket to heaven. Do good and the rest will follow.

Are you ready to die?
I understand the lab testing end, but dieng to destroy the eco-system seems a little odd. I mean ban meat-eating and hunting for humans. The animals can do it because they don't slaughter each other by the thousands, after raising those thousands in horrible conditions. If we reverted to hunting with our bare fists and only eating what we and our family members caught, that would be more balanced. Besides, it's perfectly easy for a human to get by without meat. I disagree with you in many ways here, but we should stay on topic

Guns: will a ban reduce crime?
You think that banning guns will make that pistol disappear off of his shelf? You are poorly mistaken. That's almost as idealistic as thinking prohibition will make alcohol disappear, is just doesn't work that way. But guns aren't alcohol. I can't think of how to word this, just an example. Because of anti-gun laws in the UK, only a few inner city gang members carry guns, and only farmers have them in their house. Seems like the system works to me... And @ Villageidiot, I agree, we should find a way to get rid of the violence which exists in society today, but the readiness of guns to hormonal teenagers is still very worrying. Well maybe education for gun owners rather then restrictions should be in order? If parents knew more then perhaps they would put them in safes or other unreachable places.

Guns: will a ban reduce crime?
You're missing my entire point, Of course you won't stop gang members, and people who really need or want a gun. What you will stop however, are these impulsive teens, being given one too many wedgies, noticing their dad's 'protection' pistol, and taking it to school, and wreaking havoc, as this protection pistol wouldn't have existed. Ok, what is the real culprit though? Its society. Maybe we should try to fix society first. The kid will still suffer. What you wish to do is put a bandaid on a tumor, it might hide it but it will get worse and worse until its a real problem. Also, you tend to forget the "collateral damage". You are taking away the freedom of alot of people. You can say what you want, but there are alot of people who like guns and use them resposibly. Music had been linked to violence, but im sure you would protest if they took that away. Its the same thing. The sad thing is as society gets worse, or the tumor grows that is, you will need more and more bandaids to cover it. Music might be the next thing you lose, its not implausible and, actually, the wheels on that one have already started turning.

Are you ready to die?
I am naturally not comfortable with death :-k , but the reason is simply because i dont know what happens. Would it be like religions state with heaven and hell? Would you become a ghost? Be reincarnated? Will we just rot in the ground? Its impossible to tell, and nobody can say they know.

Guns: will a ban reduce crime?
Its foolish to ban something with high demand and expect the item to disapear. I have several examples to prove my point. A: We will start on common ground, runescape. Jagex cut the "supply" of party hats, and demand skyrocketed. This didnt make it impossible for them to come in, as some people "duped" or copied theirs and made alot of cash B: The prohibition. Alchohol was made illegal, but the nation didnt want to be sober, and the demand for alchohol skyrocketed, so some people started making "bootleg whiskey" and would then smuggle it to hidden bars. This gave rise to the gang scene that the 20's is famous for. C: Drugs. Because they are illegal there is high demand, and i shouldnt have to go into detail how bad the drug scene is. Its foolish to think that you will make guns go away by passing laws. As long as there is a demand there will be a supply. The majority of people who kill or use guns in gang crimes probably dont care what is illegal. If someone really wants someone dead they will find a way.

The war in iraq, What do you think we should do?
There is no ,nor has there ever been, a link between Iraq & 9/11. There has been no obvious link, there is a possiblilty there was one but it cant be proven, so its best to assume it doesnt exist. Iraq had very little to do with 9/11, it was more over an assumed amassing of weapons that didn't happen or wasn't proven.

Global Warming. Whats your opinion?
Well that's a good way of putting it. And what about future generations? I dont think we have that type of power over the earth. We are more like bugs that bit the baby and gave it the fever, and now we are crawling on the baby with the fever, we can tell its hot but we cant stop what we started. There is no plausible way to fix this. You could end civilization and eventually its going to slow down, but ending civilization is obviously way to drastic, since we are to naive of a society to live in the wild. We can't stop pollution as easy as people think. Even the "Cleaner Burning Fuels" won't make much difference. Even if we could end all of our pollution, the earth will finish it for us, with its volcanos and the emissions from swamps and tundras. Basiclly, we should stop worrying about stopping it, because its like stopping a speeding train with a stick, and we should start building the better air conditioner. I still admit im a sceptic, this smells like a doomsday theory, and waving graphs and charts in my face wont change my mind. I mean, come on, its Snowing In the Midwest in April, doesnt seem very warm to me.

.::11 April 2007 - Olaf's Quest Slippery Bridge::.
What they did was right, the quest ,in all its essence, was a noob quest. It would be like cooks assistent requiring 60 cooking, it wasnt fitting for the quests intended difficulty. You dont even get agility xp from it, its not supposed to be a agility intense quest! I think it was a slip of the mind mistake they made in the programming process, and they fixed it. I finished the quest the yesterday, when it was broken, and i found that the bridge dominated the quest, turning "olafs quest" into "slippery bridge quest", not what it was intended to be. (P.S: Does anyone else find people whining about whiners sort of... hypocratic?)

Global Warming. Whats your opinion?
Science isnt a certain, their are many possibiltys, so really it all is how one uses the science they know, and what they apply to the unknowns. The diffrence between the arguements is the idea from site pompey posted applys to more then one unknown, making it the most likely. Anti-pollution is already in effect , the next step is anarchy.

Your link doesnt work #-o but i assume its about the fact that Gore's house doesnt employ any eco friendly items, and his energy use is through the roof! Intresting twist to that, Bush's texas ranch is eco-friendly.

Global Warming. Whats your opinion?
Think, dont listen. How would they know that C02 is the highest ever, when they have such a limited abililty to test past the 1800's? I will agree humans are part of the equation, but not all. Also, i would like to point out the "cleaner cars" are bs, just a sales pitch by those trying to sell cars and get away with charging an arm and a leg. Some of the "cleaner cars" are actually WORSE for the earth, only getting rid of things harmful to humans. As for "alternative energy", it is possible in the near future, but will take a long time to get done, to long to make a diffrence. The worst cause of global warming isnt humans, but volcanos and swamps, we are more of the "final nail" then the whole coffin. I suggest you do research beyond "an inconvienient truth", thats POLITICS not science. i see your point but what you are saying is wrong is some cases many countries (not the us) have much cleaner cars and we have made massive amounts of pollution also they can test different things like ice to find a pretty accurate co2 level for past years Their are some clean cars out their, but alot of them, especially in the states, are gimics. Other countrys have less pollution for many other reasons. Also i said limited ways of testing, i know they can test ice and soil but alot of times their are other possible reasons why the levels are higher/lower, making the margin of error wide enough to put the data into question.
