  1. Well, some people do hack for them. However, to get a legit one and rub it in the hackers face, you must save before you face Dialga/Palkia and battle it over and over again until it's shiny. It's quite frustrating, but when you get one, it's very awesome. This applies to ANY legendary you see; Azelf, Mesprit, Uxie, Dialga and palkia, Giratina. This will also work for Rotum. But to get one, save in front of it and reset until you have one. Also, this applies to starter pokemon. Advice to shorten your time: I know you beat the game. However, if you don't have a giratina or regigigas, use soft reset to get it shiny. Soft resetting resets your game without turning it off and going through he turn it on process. If you know this, then disregard. If you don't, to soft reset press start, select, and both shoulder buttons AT THE SAME TIME. Have anymore questions? I'm still open. I'll be happy to answer them. thanks but its a little late for me the only dianmond/oeral leegendary i have left is regigigas and i need to start playing my pokemon ruby cause i need the regies thanks for that though No problem. Just remember you can get Regigigas shiny. A little advice. Regigigas's ability lowers his attack, defense, and slows him. Try quick balls for the first two turns, where he'll be rejuvinated. Or else you'll accidently kill him right off the bat. He is quite an annoying crap, but I guarentee you'll catch him. Also! You can get a shiny rayquaza, Groudon, etc. If you save in front of them! Yes, it works in these versions too! Just to let you know. :

hmmm riku sig, riku avatar, you've mentioned kingdom hearts in other threads... I'd say your a Paper Mario Fan! lol But I'd suggest chain of memories, (as both the other kingdom heart wich are ps2) and I use to like pokemon red, blue and yellow but I've outgrown that 4yeears ago, but hey you can never be too old for a game so try it out :) . i am a fan of paper mario. but if you handed me a paper mario 4 for a kingdom hearts 3 i'd jump right on kingdom hearts 3 THis might be a little off topic 'cause it is, but are they making KH3? Or are they screwing us? The creator said KH was Sora's story, even in the manga it is, and thinks they should make a final chapter. However, some people say make another game with new characters. I still say KH: COM, and also a new recommendation, Golden sun's 1+2, also Zelda Fours swords adventure/ Link to the past. Fun, fun, fun, fun!
  4. Yet another good question. Well, after beating the game, I love to trade and battle with friends. However, in game is different; if you go to Dawn/lucas's house in Sangem town, talk to his/her little sister, and she'll tell you th pokemon swarm of the day. Swarming is fun, since the pokemon appears very often and is good for chaining. (I'll explain later.) I love to go to the underground, if you have no clue what the underground is, it's an entire knew realm of Sinnoh, where you can dig up fossils, spheres (Currency for the underground) and of course, make a secret base. Using the spheres, you can buy furniture for your base. However, furniture is limited due to a miniquest. The miniquest has to do with the man in eterna city, which you are forced to go to. Anyway, he'll tell you to do stupid things underground, eventually, you'll get a harder quest. This involves linking with your friends and stealing their "Base flags." Get enough base flags and you can remove pesky boulders that are in your base and you can hold more furniture. Anyway. Chaining. After you beat the game, and you should have seen all 150 Sinnoh pokemon by this time, go to Rowns lab and show him. Upon showing him, prof. Oak walks in, upgrades your pokedex to national mode, and then talks about pal park. He walks out, and Rowan gives you the Pokeradar. This allows you to find national pokemon easier (The rare national pokemon) and also, if you chain 40 pokemon, it's most likely a shiny pokemon coming next. Anyway, pal park. It's an easy find, but you go through an annoying and relentless gauntlet of trainers. In Sangem town, theres the beach. Go down the beach, surf, follow the path, etc. When you reach the building, Oak will give you a poketech app that shows how many pokemon you've chained. Here at pal park, you can migrate pokemon from ruby, sapphire, and emerald to this game. It's actually good if you have those games, but useless otherwise. What else...Ah yes, hunting the rest of the legendaries that can be found in your game...Also growing berries and winning every contest there is, wow that takes forever. But the best thing I wanted to do was get Arceus. Using my old wif (Which I can't use now cause my cat broke it, and because I have a mac...Nintendo doesn't support macs -.- ) I got every non-released legendary from Japan. There's also a BIG challenge you'll wanna check out: The battle tower. When you beat the elite four, you'll get notice that it's open. You go, and there's a legendary on the island, tons of high level wild pokemon and trainers, and the battle tower. Getting 100 consecutive wins gives you a star on your trainer card. WARNING: Not an easy feat. That's the first thing I did. I'm probably one in a handful of people who have a black trainer card. To get it, beat one contest in the master rank, 100 consecutive wins in the battle tower, pokedex complete, beat the elite four, and collect 50 flags in the underground with your friends, thus giving you a platinum flag in your base. (Basically, you steal eachothers flags while laying down traps, etc.) But here is a lot more to do. Every day, there is some fantastic pokemon to catch. Every day, you can go to the lottery to see if you won. Another favorite of mine is going to Amity square in Hearthrome city. Here, you can take a pikachu out of their pokeball and go for a walk with him. Well, it's not just a pikachu. There's a bunch of pokemon you can get to walk with you. But I'm still leaving the rest up to you. Trust me, you don't get bored for a while. But have fun, and you can always ask me more questions, Sephiroth_King :
  5. Y'know, I really don't see why we're still arguing with him. He's either A) A moron who couldn't get a 360 or wii for some reason, B) A Sony fanboy, C) A educated person with an insightful opinion or D) A Sony spokesman in disguise. I say B, myself. Now that he's broken down to the childish arguing and denying phase, I say just leave him alone. We've already proved him wrong. He knows it as well as you and I, he will just keep doing this until your post counts are too high for the counter. He's heard the facts, so leave them alone to him and let him do what he wants with them. You know what, you're right. Thanks adam. Smell ya later henman. And bubsa, nadril, and anyone else who had this awesome arguement and were backing up henman. It was fun.
  6. Hey, it wasn't only the critics I got it from. And...I...Hate...X Box 360...Hate... Oh, by the way, now you're just twisting my words, I haven't said 50% of PS3's break down in a while, rather sony's products suck in the last post. Ps3's have great potiential, that's what I said you moron. Again, I was saying Sony's products suck. Now you're just acting childish and moronic in every way. Especially the end, you still can't accept facts for facts, especially the report I set up. You just don't wanna admit so far Xbox360 and Wii are better and ahead, again BETTER and ahead. Blu-ray. What can I say? Oh yes. HD-DVD may not be better in terms of memory, but it's better in nearly everything else. Well, that ends that. Hey, I can't argue with that, money is too much on the PS3's! :) Now you are finally admitting it, you just need to let it all out. While you say the same thing from past posts over and over, and continue raving about how Xbox isn't great and wii just sucks and PS3 will always be better, and how blu-ray is the best, blah blah blah, I'll await your next post. God, I just got reminded of Blue for a second...You know, your posts and comments are set up exactly like his...Hold on... (Returns 30 minutes later) Ya, you kinda, not really, a lot, or yes you do, but kinda. However...No, no. Well anyway, I'm hungry, so if you'll excuse me...Um, flame me or whatever you guys are gonna do, I'm to bored to care...
  7. Just because all of your Sony products have lasted you, doesn't mean everybody has had the same luck. My ps2 has died twice, the ps2's were unreliable for the first couple of years after launch. Can you say disk read errors? Of course the ps2 would be reliable now, it's been out for 7 years. Thank you blade! Now, henman, you have a bad memory, I have played both consoles, normally and without being all crazy. My friends was bad, my cousins good, gave them back, etc. You should accept my facts because they are all correct and compiled. What's the matter? Don't wanna hear the truth? The truth may hurt, but eventually, the truth will be circulated everywhere and you'll just have to accept it. Oh wait, everyone knows the PS3 has no good games, and is too expensive. Hmmmm, maybe that's why they aren't selling crap and every sony fanboy keeps mentioning a "Comeback" because the PS2 didn't do good at first either. I've already accepted the PS3 has potential, and eventually will do good, but it can't right now, since sony refuses to bring out it's full potential. And remember, just because you don't have faulty products, doesn't mean everyone else in the world doesn't. That's how ignorant you are being. You aren't accepting the faults in the PS3. You shun me, basically saying my facts are wrong, because you REFUSE to accept the truth. It's quite sad. I compiled a whole report for everyone to see, with critics reviews, identifcations and comparisons between X-Box 360 and PS3, the cheap shot's sony took. You can't refuse to accept the truth forever. I admit, blu-ray is meh, it's pretty much not needed, it make the PS3 cost so much, and HD-DVD has more capabilities than blu-ray, besides unable to hold much memory. Moreover, in the future, I guess more things will be more expensive, but this PS3 isn't futuristic. You want a futuristic thing, get an iPhone. Costs just as much as a PS3, you can talk on it, it's a computer, camera, touch screen. What more can you want? The bottom line is, if you can't accept the report I put up, which I researched the PS3 and 360 just to find strengths weaknesses of a PS3 (since we all know 360 weaknesses), then you might as well continue your fanboyism.
  8. It is! I've had plenty of Pokemon come and go in my party. However, once you find your ideal party, then it's all the sweeter. I've a couple of tips. My first one would be to get pokemon that are a type that can learn multiple attacks. Meaning, for example, Garchomp. He's a dragon/ground, very strong. He can learn flamethrower, so he's unaffected by Water. Or luxray. This bad boy can learn Fire fang and Ice fang, despite him being electric. Even Rampardos can learn ice. But those are examples taken directly from my party. There are plenty of pokemon like them, yet...Well anyway. My next tip would be EV training. When you battle a pokemon, you get EV's, which your pokemon gain for a certain stat. I can't tell you which pokemon to attack for EV's, so Go here and look for EV training guide. Fighting. Figure out your own. Let's say your opponent had two pokemon left, you had rampardos. His current was luxray, he has an onyx who knows earthquake, but he doesn't think it'll KO him immediatly. He attacks, but you use Avalanche. You purposly went second for avalanch, so luxray dies. He now knows he's screwed, let's say the Luxray didn't weaken him far enough. He tries earthquake, nope, you use Avalanche, he dies. This is multityping, he can learn avalanche dispite his rockness. Now figure out your own strategy! You'll fin it eventually, trust me. It takes time. That, and research. Thanks for your advice. Ive only caught 3 pokemon though, (ive got four altogether including the pokemon I chose at the start), and they are all pokemon that you cxan catch right at the start of the game. I mean, im worried that the further I go into the game I will just put my pokemon I use atm into the pc, and use different pokemon, so it will be a waste of time training the pokmone I have atm really :? I see what you mean. Eventually, more pokemon will become available to you, and thusly, it's only natural to store the current pokemon in the PC. However, you should see me! a box full of shinies, all of them pokemon I used before but not anymore. I even got banned from a tounament in gamestop because I must've cheated for the shinies. In reality though, I got them from chaining, trading, etc. But it's really time consuming. Training, then storing them...My advice to you is go to Serebii's pokedex in order to research what pokemon you might want. The pokedex features moves they learn, what abilities they might have, etc. This helped me as well. So serebii will help you out with research, and you've probably been there...Psypokes helps with EV's...Now it's time for you to seriously think of what future pokemon you might want, obviously. But I feel for you; wasted training can be a pain, but it's really vital to the game. And thus, I leave the rest to you, Sephiroth_King
  9. It's not a STUPID and BIASED report you IGNORANT person. Ahem. Excuse me. (Got a little Angered there...) That report wasn't biased, it was actually many compiled facts, absolutly no opinions by me at all until the end, which are true nevertheless...Oh and if you don't know what a word means, then please don't say it. Look it up in the dictionary first, then say it. But thanks for the "interesting" bit in there. I compiled the facts, looking for critical reviews, YOU will just have to except the fact that PS3 didn't start out good and won't do good for a while. Ifyou bothered to read what I put in blu-ray, (by the way, it's not blue, it's blu) I clearly stated: I put the negative of HD-DVD, then put the things blu-ray cannot do. That's not being biased. I looked for a long while for these facts, so Nadil wouldn't relentlessly hunt me down and obliterate me. Oh, the motion SUCKS for the PS3. There, I said it. SUCKS. PS3 copied, they got their just deserts by selling a measly amount of copies. It seems I annoyed you, a fanboy, I clearly wrote: :P They stole the idea, they just made the same controller over, Sony needs to get originality. Sony does make faulty products, I have a pair of headphones that died, this is my third pair. Their Playstation proved not a faulty product, and I know it won't die for a long time. However, PS3's were a disappointment to many. Faulty products aren't uncommon in Sony. So, henman, it's clear to me that you are flipping out and need to calm down. Good, you may not have faulty products, doesn't mean everyone else doesn't either. And, the next time you flip out and call my report faulty without knowing what it means...Well, that's a different story. :)
  10. Sorry, guys, here has been WAY to many things going on this summer. Thursday, I'm leaving for Dollywood in Tennessee and then Kings dominion in virginia. So, for every one of you, if you still want a review, either Xewleehr or I can do it. However, if I do it, it will be scheduled for September 18, school starts for me August 28, and I have to kick in a good start. Well, time to rest. See ya guys later!
  11. How do you get a Wiimote to do it? You can't. wii doesn't accept/run java applet. It's impossible. Anyway, great guide, 9/10.
  12. sephiroth_king replied to Futurama's topic in Off-Topic
Whoa, I heard that game was pretty lousy...Can you give me some detail? Why you liked it? I wanted to get it, but there have been terrible reviews ever since it came out... But ya, Golden sun 1+2 are awesome, plus the chain of memories: Kingdom Hearts, yes I know I said it backwards.
  13. Well, at least you admit that blue ray is useless. Oh, and just because your PS3 is faulty, doesn't mean other people's aren't. I CAN afford to get one, however such a rediculous amount of money for a console is a waste of my money. And IF more advanced things come ot, like Microsoft plans on doing, they won't be a rediculous amount of money like the PS3, sony admitted the damn things cost so much to make, and that's why they cost so much. And critics are dumb? Without critics, who play the system and are far more smart in knowing these consoles than you ever will, we would never be able to see if a system is good or not. Hell, I'm a critic, I took a couple of PS3's, one was okay, the other faulty, my friend returns that one, I give back my cousin the non buggy one, my conclusion was it was an okay system, for both consoles, good or bad. Now the faulty one--it just had some wierd glitches, many lags, bugs, ate my friends memory, etc. My cousins was fine--however, none of the games he had were...Exciting. I don't care about racing games that show mud and dirt flying into your car, as a matter of fact, racing games aren't my thing. However, Resistance was pretty good, but I could get an average shooting game anywhere. And that was all he had. Alright, everyone is begging for proof, evidence, they are having their periods, thus I'll give you critics reviews, close looks at the PS3, company quotes about the system, etc etc.
  14. F.E.A.R. is awesome. However, it isn't just for the PS3, it's for the PC and X-Box 360 as well, I myself playing it on my computer. It's awesome. I know it's on other systems , i'm just saying we're only talking about it for the Ps3. (Cause i have it.) Ah, I see. Well, it must be awesome on the PS3, I guess, since it was awesome for the Computer...
  15. sephiroth_king replied to Futurama's topic in Off-Topic
Definatly, I just HATED the environments, every environment was EXACTLY the same as the last, and every environment was composed of blocks. IT WAS ANNOYING!!!!!! However, the battle system/story line made up for it. :P
  16. F.E.A.R. is awesome. However, it isn't just for the PS3, it's for the PC and X-Box 360 as well, I myself playing it on my computer. It's awesome.
  17. Actually, nearly everyone knows I hate wikipedia. It's the worst source of information you can find anywhere. And much of that video is true, no matter what you say, I really don't give a damn, the fact here is I'm right anyway. My "Biased" opinion is based on many facts by nearly every critic that critiqued the PS3, and combined with my personal experiences = a varified answer. PS3 = disaster, that's both In my opinion and for many other critics. I don't even know why such a rude intrusion got too far. It's a console, therefore we shouldn't be arguing and calling others "Biased" and other rude crap. Just looking at facts helps. If you can find me true information about the PS3 that isn't bashed by millions, Post it. :)
  18. Would you mind, for a change, providing evidence for these radical claims? Implying you have to be lucky to find a working PS3 is complete and utter bullcrap. You're basically saying, on the element of luck, >50% of PS3s are defunct. That's just completely sensationalist. This is coming from a Wii fan and a PS3 despiser, but what you're 'claiming' are complete fabricated lies. No-one can take you seriously. [/hide] Well you just butt-in to our long discussion, so you missed a lot. The evidence for me comes from my friends PS3, borrowed it, it had problems. And yes, you DO have to be lucky. For example, my friend has a defective one but my cousin's works perfectly fine? The evidence is all around you; game critics tell you the problems, some games lag, etc. The acme of evidence is why they aren't selling much. One doesn't start rumors if it's a good system saying it's terrible, has defects, etc. The rumors would be it's a good system. then, they wanted to release it before the Wii, they rushed it, and then I remember many people saying they either have bugs or don't, this was on the news. I'm not implying anything, however I'm connecting to truthful events that have happened since the month it came out. There's my evidence Bubs, good enough? To put it simply, no. You'r evidence is biased, based on you and your friends experience and carries no reliable source or external source. You borrowed one from your friend and your cousin...that's 2 people. 2 people for how many millions the PS3 has sold, and you think that is a high enough quantity to seriously support your claims? Give me a break. Find me a source online where critics highlight how all PS3s (or the majority, as you claim) are buggy, laggy or unreliable. Yes, they may have reported a dodgy shipment, but that's parcel with any other console. What you claim is, again, baseless and sensationalist. Oh, and FYI: I read over the last few pages, so don't assume I just 'butt in'. This is a forum anyway, so I'm entitled to ridicule and make a mockery of your opinions. Ask any other member here on the forums and they'll support me on this arguement against yours. Stop thinking that a few personal experiences of yours can relate to an entire global project. As much as you wish, you're not that influential in the world. But it's not just my personal experiences, it's many others. I'm not influencial on the world, I don't even know exactly what you are saying. This is where my information comes from besides MY personal experiences. All 100% true. While I may not have said any of this, I've always known every professional critic hated PS3, INCLUDING the NY times! That's embarassing. This video happened to be my secret weapon, I show this to any ignorant person I come across (however you aren't ignorant bubs, just mis-informed). I use my personal experiences because they are easier to clarify, I don't have to explain every detail why it's so bad. Personal experiences usually give boosted evidence, even though it's my own personal experience. Biased evidence. It may be, however it's true to what the PS3 actually is, through my own personal experience I was able to varify wether or not the critics were just saying it was bad or not. One was bugged, which was my friends, the other my cousins, all fine. Whereas I watched the news as well and they said 50/50 bugged. The news isn't really my personal experience, is it? Love that song and part 2. Well, I'm done for now, but that's all the proof you need...I guess. I can find more if you want me too. Go ahead. Your turn I guess. :P
  19. Because i didn't have a vacation the rest of the summer holiday. Plus its a nice time to go :D Don't worry though, the place i'm going, the odds are extremely high in getting a wi fi connection there :D Right...But doesn't it have to be a nintendo wifi connection? If it just needs wifi, I could definatly go on... You just need a wifi connection in range, and then you edit your wifi options to make it nintendo wi fi. Haha, sweet, I'm going on vacation soon as well, I'll find a hotspot in dollywood...I hope. Maybe in kings dominion...Not 100% sure...
  20. i think it would at least take 100 hours for some one to get 100% :? It took me 60 hours to get to 100%. Getting the black trainer card was a surprise, I though you had to get all contests done, I used my Japanese Arceus to get through the smart rank, when I was bored and wanted to clean my badges. Open the card menu and WHAM! black trainer card. Then I beat all of the contests to celebrate and got 100% complete. \ Now I have 100 hrs. And still climbing, all pokemon in party lv 100 and shiny. Best EV's. Now I need wifi again, but no one is telling me if it's compatible with mac!
  21. Would you mind, for a change, providing evidence for these radical claims? Implying you have to be lucky to find a working PS3 is complete and utter bullcrap. I'm not implying anything, however I'm connecting to truthful events that have happened since the month it came out. There's my evidence Bubs, good enough? Summary: The 50% chance of getting a defective one is the truth, so is the 50% of getting a good one. This is why it hasn't sold a lot, if there is another reason why then tell me, but from many sources it's because of the lagging, bugs, problems, problems, problems...This is the reason why the companies are switching to where they can make money, Assassins Creed going to X-Box 360. Why? Problems with the PS3. Currently "Fixing it" supposedly, cutting the price to a still expensive price, and screwing us. Again, if you have any other information why people don't like the PS3, tell me, I'd like to know. Tell me why it's not popular, not including the library of games. Just why people gave up on the PS3 is all I wanna know. And if this explanation is good enough, good. I'm happy. :P
  22. Dude, gold ray was a joke. This is what I mean about you going to an extreme, and you need to chill out. Yes, some PS3's break. I will say this again: You have to be lucky to have a none-defective one. PS3's are the worst systems available, Wii and X-Box 360 are the leaders 'cause--you are correct--the defects the PS3 HAS/HAD. Again, not everyone has a defective PS3, but then comes the lousy range of games available. A few okay, rest multisystem, and the reason I mention multisystem even if you don't give a damn is because you could easily get an X-Box 360 and get the multisystem game, cheaper than a PS3 and all. This is why system exclusives are important. I can't stand it when people mention the power. Give me a SNES and I'm fine, may not have good graphics, may not be powerful but AT LEAST IT'S FUN. People that focus on graphics are pathetic, I must say, it's not the core of a good system, merely an add on the companies give to have the player feel a more realistic feel in playing. However, this is for only "Graphic Nerds" as my friend calls them. He likes graphics as much s the next guy, he's ranked number 5 in the Halo community but focuses on the gameplay. He even wants a Wii because they're fun. But guess what? They're sold out everywhere. True story. Arguing with an idiot at my school, obsessed with graphics. I said graphics aren't everything. He flips out. I laugh at him. He cries. I won. The end. I remember playing N64, and everything. I loved Nintendo until I got a PS@, I even thought the Wii would be lame. But studying it further, and I found the cool capabilities it had. My sister bought 3 (Or so I saw) to sell on ebay. Turns out my mom bought on for me, and on X-Mas day WHAM! I get one. My friends are envious of me. What's so ironic about that story is that even though he played dirty I still one through cunning. The moral of the story is to just say I don't follow people, what they like, etc. The fact is 50% of my school likes Wii, 45% like X-Box, the other 5% I award to the one kid who bet with me. The Wii teens are usually normal, X-Box are jerks, and pick on us, the PS3 kid is so/so neutral. (I haven't met anyone else besides him that likes PS3 at my school.)
  23. Because i didn't have a vacation the rest of the summer holiday. Well anyway. I apologize. :)
