  1. 0/10, though to be honest i've not played in quite a while.
  2. Well, I love all the attention, and I quite enjoy the woodcutting emote.
  3. 99 capes? And where can one of these beauties be aquired?
  4. Wow, you can speak english with a reading age greater than 12, give yourself a big pat on the back. It's infuriating that your the minority.
  5. I've mixed feelings. Yes it's going to take a while to get used to the orange stats, different run position etc, but in a month I probably wont even think about it. As well as that the new fishing graphics are bo selecta. Shatpank.
  6. true satanists dont belive in satan.... satanism is the strong belief of being against christianity. You sure about this? I thought the satanists believed both in satan and god, but follow satan instead, believing that instead of eternal torture in the afterlife they'll be rewarded by satan and become one of his minions.
  7. Finally, a "Metalhead" that I find myself agreeing with. I completely agree with your comment about the musicianship, and I also agree about the lyrics. But do you honestly enjoy the lyrics or the vocals? I mean, they are offensive and disgusting... Personally I'm not big on the vocals, but thats mainly because i'm a drummer and i spend most of my time listening to the drums. But I'd prefer that style of singing over any other style for that type of music, nothing else would fit as well. I know quite a few people who are well into death metal lyrics, I can't deny that some of them are a bit 'odd', but really, some of the time signatures that a good death metal vocalist will use are amazing. (And some of the noises these guys have learnt to make are quite incredible).
  8. I've walked up and down the new stairs 172 times now and every time is just as magical as the first. That's right, I am the master of the new stairs. Who wants to touch me?
  9. I can't disagree that the lyrics are often offensive and indistiguishable. But let me ask you this, are the lyrics to a deathmetal song more offensive than some of the stuff kids see on video games these days (a la grand theft auto)? Especially when you consider that someone would have to actually LOOK UP the lyrics to even be offended in the first place! As for the growling, it's just what suits the music, thats what the feel of it is, singing just wouldn't cut it. But the main point is that the vocals only make up a quarter of the band, and in deathmetal you'll find almost always that the other musicians are amongst the best in any genre. And thats why a lot of people (and musicians) listen to deathmetal. And its a power trip.
  10. Is this true? Could cause some trouble if it is.
  11. well, 14 reply's until a musical ignoramous shows up, thats more than i thought.
  12. some nice bands there:) The berzerker were playing my area last month but i managed to forget about it, happy face supported as well. gutted i missed it. They've apparently found a drummer who can play all there new stuff
  13. I've no idea how to put pics up on tip it, but if you go on my bands myspace (http://www.myspace.com/thethreat) theres a few pics of me and my kit on there I think, as well as a coupla songs with me playing on. I use a pearl export select 6 piece. I've not heard the new cannibal corpse album, but to be honest im into more extreme death metal, you guys listen to necrophagist or psycroptic? The old zyklon albums got some corkers :D
  14. and remember you can be a bit cheeky. Be careful not to be outright rude, that isnt going to work. Make sure she knows your joking.
  15. cannibal corpse and Death, couldn't get anymore deathmetal! you play blastbeats in your band?
  16. I'm a non combater, and recently i've been thinking about changing my mind. I've not played for a while, and back when i did play properly the enemy drops weren't anything special, there was none of this rare armour drops, barrows, trimmed armour etc, so non combat was a very respectable little earner. Nowadays though I'm regretting my lowish (lvl85) combat, stops me from finding so much st00f. But still, i hate training comabt, it's all about a handful of skills for me . . woodcutting, magic, fletching, smithing, fishing and cooking. Thats about all i do.
  17. It really wasn't that special. Just had your character ontop of a completely black screen. People tricked noobs into going down there and trading there discs too, leaving poor noob in a bit of a predicament.
  18. lol, dont worry about music noobs flaming. I saw cryptopsy about 2 months ago in britain, they played with aborted. I can honestly hand on heart say it was the best gig i've ever been to, cryptopsy made aborted look like absolute amateurs. Flo mournier IS the man.
  19. http://www.myspace.com/thethreat theres two of our own songs on there, I play drums. There heavy though. sorta metalcore with death bits.
  20. Anyone else like the sound of cryptopsy whilst hammering away at magic trees? Anybody think that psycroptic or decrepit birth help with fishing? I'm looking for people who ACTUALLY know what their talking about with regards to music, not crybaby 13 year olds with big fringes, tight jeans, and trivium tatoos. I'm a deathmetal drummer, so if your into playing deathmetal too then your conversation would be even more appreciated. I'm not gunna make a huge list of bands, you guys know who you are, add metaldrummer in rs.
  21. Average of about zero. I try my damned hardest not to get roped into talking to most of the miscrients that have congealed themselves out of primary school and into rs.
  22. I've not played properly since moving away to university almost three years ago. Even back then I never liked combat, magic was the only combat skill I really raised soley through high alchemy. I've played during holiday periods since then but training less combat than ever, I've not really tried RS2 combat. I wondered if anyone could offer some advice, i've not done any quests for a few years, and I know very little about the new combat areas (anything added in the past 2 years). heres my combat stats: attack 70 def 66 str 70 hp 68 prayer 48 magic 87 I guess maging would be the way to go, but could anyone recomend somewhere to start fighting, ideally i'd like somewhere with a possibility of something rare, decent experience, non wildy, and not overly crowded, which is probably to much to ask. But any help would be appreciated, o yeah - what spell would i need to be casting? Money isnt a problem.
  23. The trust test involves a scammer asking someone to give them one piece of armour at a time, and then they give it back to you, as a sign of trust. This ends with you giving your entire set of armour to the scammer as a final sign of trust, rest assured you'll soon be using the report abuse button. The worst thing thats happened to me is high alching 3k of natures, on my very first high alch, leaving 3k of magic longs laughing at me from the safety of my bank.
